Weekend: al pastor (yum!!!), steak taco (okay)
    Linda N.

Weekend only - al pastor tacos are greasy deliciousness. Not a fan of their other offerings that i've tried. they're not bad, just not better than my go-to establishments.

I feel like this place has a lot of potential and space to do more it felt like things were missing. I ordered the mulitas and they were TINY! The pro is that you could pick different meat for each which i love because i like to try a little bit of everything. We thought it was okay but we will go to our usual.

I asked for NO CEBOLLA, but it's all over it

If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been back several times and it gets WORST AND WORST AND WORST. I will NEVER go back. This last time I went, I ordered 15 pastor tacos, NO CEBOLLA (NO F*K ONIONS). Server brought the tacos out and there's onions COVERED ALL OVER AND INSIDE the tacos. Server sent the food back and the cook waited about 1 minute and have the food right back in the same condition. I'm not allergic to onions, but my stomach struggles with it. Have some respect that unfortunately I can't have certain foods. There's been only ONCE that there food was served as I requested. It's very disappointingly, disgustingly sad!!!

#2 taco special -comes with rice and beans too

This taco location is hidden away in the corner off of sunset next to the Brick. Parking can be a little weird due to the angles you enter the lot from and the gas station in front. I've been here twice during lunch hours and it has never been fast. I always feel like service is slow, and personally don't like that you have to walk up to the front to pay as you leave. I've tried the carnitas taco special and the pastor taco special. They were both fine, but like other reviewers have mentioned, the meat is a bit fatty. They had a yummy flavor though and there's a great salsa bar you can try out. Other tables who didn't have to go back to work in a school building got yummy drinks so I'd like to come back when I can get an adult beverage too.

The BEST tacos I've had in Washington State and I've lived here for 25 years. Service was great! Tacos were soooo good.

Food was excellent. We tried the chicken tacos and chicken "wet" burrito. Burrito had a bit more rice than I'd like but the sauces and flavors were great. What reduced review is the atmosphere and service. It was a cold day and the restaurant was freezing. Also had quite a bit of trouble getting our waitress's attention. Good little place though.

Doesn't look like much when you walk in, but the food here is great. Ordered a meal for pickup on a Tuesday where they run a 2 for 1 special on tacos! The meal was ready when we arrived and you can choose which salsa you want to go as well. The food was not soggy when we got back home (which is close-by) and everything we ordered was there, nothing missing. I haven't had a meal for dine in so can't speak much to that. Definitely ordering again

Auténtico y delicioso. Authentic and delicious, I'm so happy of having this place near home.

The food is excellent here, with a lot of variety on the menu, in addition to basics like tacos, burritos, and tortas - all delicious. Try the machete if you are hungry! The restaurant has been brightened and modernized over the years, but the food has stayed consistent in taste and quality. And that is a good thing. Parking can be tight in front - if it is, just drive to the lot in back of the busy little strip mall.

Hands down the BEST EL PASTOR TACOS in the local area! Each bite is so savory! The meat is full of flavor, very tender and just DELICIOUS. Each taco is topped off with onions, cilantro, and a slice of pineapple.. so irresistible. I have yet to try other food items on the menu. They offer a salsa bar that offers a variety of different salsas and guacamole! Btw, there's complimentary chips and salsa, who can say no to that ?! Taste: 10/10 Presentation: 10/10 Service: 9/10 Price: $2.00 per taco Parking: The parking lot is very small and shared with other nearby businesses.

The service was great--everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The menu is pretty extensive, especially when it comes to tacos, so there are plenty of options to choose from. I tried the asada, carnitas, birria, and adobada tacos. All were decent, with the birria being my favorite. The other meats weren't bad by any means, but they were a bit on the drier side compared to some other taco spots I've been to. The rice and beans were pretty standard--exactly what you'd expect, nothing particularly standout. One thing I really liked, though, was the self-serve salsa bar. It's always a plus being able to customize your flavors. One thing to note is that you do need to bus your own table, but considering the price and portion sizes, it feels fair and worth it. Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal. I'll definitely be exploring more of this area of Renton--there seem to be a ton of authentic Mexican restaurants nearby. We went late at night, so options were a bit limited at the time, but this was a good find.

Perfectly cheesy, loaded with meat, and fresh avocados. Would definitely come back for this. 5 stars for me. I've been here multiple times for tacos and they haven't impressed me. I find the meat to be overly dry (especially the steak) even after I try to load it up with salsa. 3 star tacos. Their sauce and toppings bar has a lot of options which I appreciate. Food comes out fairly quickly after you order. Lots of seating inside. Making this place convenient to grab a quick bite and affordable!! I wouldn't come back if I'm craving tacos, but definitely willing to try other dishes.

For this visit I only did takeout, though I did get a chance to go inside with my friends as we were waiting for our orders. It's bright and extremely casual inside with ample seating, though nearly everyone that came in did takeout like we did. And there were people constantly coming in and out for the food here! Staff was quick in prepping everything and asking if we wanted extra sauce on the side. I got their carnitas plate, and as a takeout portions are huge here! Meat was flavorful, tender and savory; the jalapeños added a nice spice to the dish; and the extra sauces on the side added even more spice onto it that I enjoyed. The dish was wrapped well in a disposable aluminum plate and covered as well. This went for all of our orders, which included the burrito plate and taco salad. This place is easily one I'd come back to for Mexican food at a great price and quality!

Shortly after, a very kind gentleman brought us waters along with chips and salsa, which was appreciated. The chips were pretty standard Mexican restaurant chips--not my favorite. They tasted slightly greasy, even though they didn't appear to be. The salsa had good flavor but was quite thin. Our waitress greeted us within a reasonable amount of time, took our drink order, and returned with our drinks to take our food order. Since it was our first visit, we tried a few different items. I ordered the steak fajitas, which were flavorful and came with a generous amount of onions and peppers, many with a nice char (which I loved). The steak was tender and well seasoned. I do wish they offered the option to mix multiple proteins. I also ordered a ground beef hard-shell taco on the side, and it was great--the shell didn't taste stale like you often find at many Mexican restaurants. My dining partner enjoyed his meal as well. The only downside was the manager or owner standing near the computer station by the entrance for much of our visit, frequently watching the dining room. Since we were one of the first few tables, it felt a bit uncomfortable at times, even though I'm sure it wasn't intentional. Overall, this has quickly earned a top-two spot for Mexican restaurants in Renton for us. We'll definitely be back.
