Phenomenal!!! Outstanding service, fast ordering, clean restaurant, lots of choices, able to…read morepersonalize orders. And last but NOT LEAST the food is soooo good!!!! My new go to for Mexican food!!!

I'm so sorry to all people of Clarksville and Tennessee that think this is West Coast Mexican food…read more San Diego native here, you know where the California burrito and carne asada fries were invented. Tragically, I have to say this place is just a knock off of my beloved Cali Mexican shop. I've had the Breakfast burrito, 10.00 is wild especially when the burrito has excess tortilla double wrapped. That means the burrito was only filled like 75%. When you order carne asada fries in California, the box is filled to the top with cotija and Mexican cheese, here it's only 75% with the tiniest pieces of flavorless carne asada. The fries to carne asada ratio... big thick fries (filler) tiny carna asada meat. Rip off! Carne Asada burrito comes with no queso or crema but the fries do? Errrmmmm ok. Do not get me started on the most pathetic beef "crunchy" taco. In San Diego, they wouldn't dare give you a pre-cut shell; like the grocery store tacos in a box. In Cali they deep fry a fresh corn tortilla to make a crunchy taco and sometimes the whole taco with meat then they put the toppings after. Shame on the people from Cali repping this place . Tbh, you can really only eat a REAL CALIFORNIA BURRITO or in San Diego where it originated. There is so much competition and high expectation there that a place like this could never survive. I donated a star for ambiance.

Hubby and I were driving around Monday looking for a lunch spot when we passed this. When I say it…read moredoesn't look like much from the outside, I mean it was to the point I was arguing with him about not wanting to get out of the truck. I'm so glad he talked me into it. Walking in I was still hesitant; consisting of mainly the square tables with 4 of those basic chairs that i think my great great grandma had in her kitchen, it is a no frills/no booths/no upgrades to anything-type spot but the young man who greeted us was really nice. Lots to choose from on the menu. Chips were good. We asked for an order of guacamole with it and he brought that but no salsa so we didn't get to taste of the salsa was good. Guacamole was decent. I like the Texas way, where it's got the hint of citrus and more salt in it but it was alright. The horchata was Delicious. Hubby ordered his favorite Jarrito and they do carry other yummy juices as well as Mexican coke which i love. He had the enchiladas. I forgot the actual name of my order, but it had the chicken, cheesy rice and pineapples and was really good. We wanted to try a few of the tacos with the homemade tortillas too. We ordered chorizo, pork and carne asada. Those tacos. Omg. By far these are some of the best I've eaten in this city. And the homemade tortillas are so delicious. Hubby and I both agree they are 5 star all the way. The main dishes came on chipped plates that didn't match and was a reminder of the bare bones feel of the place. Now this wouldn't bother me at all if the intent of the no frills meant it kept the food cost down however the prices were actually higher than the majority of the local restaurants here that have same quality food. Maybe not as great as them tacos but still consistently good with a more comfortable surrounding. The food is great here don't get me wrong. But it isn't a place I'd want to go for a date or to relax. It's vibe is (to me anyway) a place to quickly eat good food and leave.

They were all "ok". But this one... authentic, delicious, priced right, clean, etc. Oh my goodness, it was so good. Their sales was amazing. Every aspect of it was so good. We were the only ones in the restaurant the whole time as customers. We went there based off reviews here on Yelp. The building is rather hidden and not noticed among all the other places around. Go here. You wont be sorry. It is sooooooo good. Authentic y'all!
