My husband and I had a great experience at Cazadores Mexican Restaurant! We were greeted with kindness as soon as we walked in and seated immediately. They brought out fresh hot chips and salsa right away, which was a great start. I ordered the steak fajita quesadilla with a strawberry margarita, and my husband got the steak burrito. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Our drinks came out very quickly, and our food arrived about 8 minutes after ordering since the restaurant was pretty empty. The atmosphere was very relaxing with dim lighting and natural light coming through the windows. Our server was attentive the entire time and somehow always knew exactly what we needed before we even had to ask. They brought out boxes and the check at the perfect time, and we never felt rushed or awkward. Overall, such a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. We definitely plan on coming back! read more

I have never experienced this bad of food in my life. This was beyond explanation. Reference the two pictures of what they tried to get me to eat. The beans as you can see, could be sucked through a straw. The shredded chicken in this tiny enchilada, which was supposed to be a burrito, was just boiled chicken, and nothing else. It was just a tortilla with chicken. The only explanation for being served this is that they are almost out of business. Stay away folks and let the restaurant die. read more

I have gone here twice, one time for a quick dinner and the other time for the lunch buffet, and have been pleased both times. The first time i went with my gf had us ordering the steak and shrimp and enchiladas supreme. The steak wasnt bad but ultimately go to a steak house if you want a great steak as that is their speciality so this was more my fault. My gf's enchilada supreme was pretty good actually. The meat in each one was sufficient especially considering the price. The daiquiri and margaritas are also extremely tasty and flavorful. The second time i went for the taco buffet and it was pretty good. The queso blanco was a little salty but the meat selection was good and definitely filled my belly! Also, the attitude of the staff is always happy and full of smiles. Believe me when i tell you that attitude and impressions are half of the experience! This is our favorite Mexican style restaurant within a 30 minute radius. The staff are very personable and they remember you. The service is very quick and food has plenty of flavor! The Carnitas are easily my favorite and rate far above any other local spots because of the flavor and the tenderness. We love their tomatillo sauces, both green and red, but every once in a while you can be treated to another red sauce hand made in house! SO good! They stayed open for takeout during the toughest parts of Covid, and we made sure to frequent their spot as often as possible to help keep them going. Either everyone who rates this place hasn't had traditional Mexican food or .. we came on a day where the entire chef staff was replaced lol. At most Mexican restaurant chains, I won't ever order anything that is actually authentic because I KNOW I will be disappointed. My favorite thing at Mexican chains is usually chicken cheese with rice. I got their "special" that's essentially chicken, steak and shrimp with cheese and other veggies. Salty slop is what it ended up being with some broccoli and carrots. Meat was tough and almost inedible. I picked at the shrimp and didn't eat anything else from it besides the rice. My poor Mexican husband decided based off the reviews he would be brave and try the Mole .. HORRIBLE. I highly recommended he not even try it considering it's a restaurant chain type of place but all these high reviews misguided him Horchata is literally from a packet of Klass, yikes Then to top it off the customer service was rude and never checked on us after dropped off our food. My family and I are here for the first time yesterday. They are only 2 weeks old but their food was amazing! I ordered the Pollo Hawaiano and my husband got the Pollo Feliz. Came here on my birthday, with 12 people. I was the first to order, everyone last food was brought out at the same time except mine. I spoke to the server multiple times and made her aware that I was still waiting for my food. Everyone continued to eat, 15 minutes later still no food I finally asked the server if I could just get the food to go. At that point I was so disappointed and irritated. At Cazadores you'll find great prices, great taste, and super friendly service. Their choriqueso is an excellent appetizer, and with the spicy sausage it's just meaty enough. My husband and I stopped in Oak Grove for the night as we travelled over the Thanksgiving weekend. The desk clerk at our hotel suggested a new restaurant, Cazadores. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the host, and he continued to check on us periodically throughout our meal. Our waitress was also super friendly and attentive. We felt as though we were being welcomed into someone's home. Chips and salsa appeared immediately - the chips were fresh and warm and the salsa was tasty with just a bit of heat. My husband ordered the Pollo ala Parrilla. This is one of his favorite dishes and he has eaten it in many different Mexican restaurants around the country. Definitely an Americanized Mexican food restaurant. It took awhile too be seated when I first walked in even though the staff probably did the double take at me at least four times. I understand it's difficult because of COVID but there were multiple available seats and not to many diners. The waiter was great. Very quick and made sure that I was taken care of. I am one of those people who judges a service on certain things and one is keeping my water refilled. I drink a lot of water throughout my meals, and he was on his "A" game! The meal itself was two flour quesadillas with steak and chicken smother in queso sauce. The queso was excellent and super tasty! The chicken was good but the steak was in very large cuts and almost difficult to chew. The vegetables, especially the onions were undercooked and almost like they were just thrown in there with out being grilled or sautéed. The dish itself just looked like I could have made it at a college dorm, basically just not too eye appealing. The price was very reasonable for the quality of food. I believe I paid $12 and tipped the waiter pretty well because of his awesome service. All in all probably wouldn't go back over some of the other quality Mexican restaurants that are in the area but if you're looking for cheap and quick it may be the place for you! read more
