Bright little spot with plenty of seating. Service was great and fast! This restaurant does not come with the usual chips and salsa but they do give you complimentary chips that were delicious and reminiscent of Chicharron. Everything we had was delicious. I didn't take photos because we started eating immediately! The tacos were flavorful and full of meat. The Chilaquiles with Carnitas was delicious and the red sauce was spicy. The star of the show were the empanadas. You can tell the wrapper was homemade MASA. And filled with shrimp and cheese. The cheese pull was impressive! We'll have two. I've driven by this unassuming little restaurant a gazillion times and never had an opportunity to stop in and try the food. Today a friend called and said she was in the vicinity and would I like her to bring me something. Of course I said yes. I have two go-to dishes that I order the first time I try a new-to-me Mexican eatery: Chile Colorado or Camarones a la Diabla. I didn't see the camarones on the menu she texted me, so I got the Chile Colorado. It came with the standard rice and beans. The Chile itself was incredibly delicious. It had just the right amount of heat, but what sets it apart from most places is the flavor of the sauce the beef was cooked in. Out of this world...fantastic... there aren't enough words to describe how good it was. I only had two issues, and one is a personal one. The plate came with corn tortillas, and I'm more a fan of flour tortillas, but that's really a non-issue with Chile this awesome. The second issue is that I went on their website to look at the menu (it's not complete, by the way) and there was a tab marked "Special." I figured they ran daily specials. Nope... it was a malicious page that hit me with a bunch of annoying bogus pop-ups about how my computer was infected by a virus. So, if you go onto the website, stay away from the "Special" tab! I got the computer set right and judging from the food I had today, I'll be ordering from Taqueria Jalisco again. read more

I told her it was my first time there and she showed me the menu. I order 4 pastor tacos and 4 lengua. Here's my break down: 1. The pastor tacos were nice and the meat was flavorful. 2. I inquired on Facebook for the best taco places in Clarksville and this place came highly recommended! My wife and I ordered Sope, AL Pastor tacos, and Carne Asada Tacos. My wife also tried the Horchata and it was extremely refreshing. I must say, the food was not as flavorful as expected. The real flavor came from the Green Chile and hit sauce.
