Tacos El Güero was super awesome! We were in town to ride the Heber city Railroad and looking for a place to eat dinner when this popped up into Yelp! I am so glad we stopped in here to get dinner. Most of my family are suckers for smothered burritos which we're good ! We tried lengua, carne asada and Barbacoa and all we're amazing! My son got a California burrito with Carne Asada and that was the surprising favorite; definitely recommended. I appreciate a place that has a bunch of sauces and sauces . The food is authentic to the core. Street Tacos are fun and the Salsa bar provides great options. Another fun part about this place is the local art that it features that has a flair for unique approaches to heroes in both real life and in fictional. Heber city, Utah is a nice growing town in the Wasatch Mountains. We are locals. It's becoming a bit more touristy in this area but still small town. Each of the items are fantastic come try them out authentic homemade, outstanding Mexican food and sauces! read more

Great Mexican place in Heber. The menu is huge. They serve breakfast all day - I had huevos con chorizo, and the Mrs has pozole. Both excellent. And a ton of hot sauces and salsas and other goodies. Free chips to start - tasty. And they usually have a tent outside that sells carnitas and pollo to go. read more

The best Mexican food around! Everything on the menu is great, and the service is always top tier. The owner is a great guy and is always very welcoming, going above and beyond. What's the difference between a 4 star and a 5 star tacqueria? Assume the basics are there: good meat, fresh toppings, strong portions. Hint- it's the salsas. And this place didn't quite deliver on the last star but we enjoyed it anyway. Enjoyed the carnitas tacos / great juicy meat and nice portions. The beef tamale was good if not a touch too dry. Fish tacos were equally tasty. Maybe the rice was a tad too generic. The salsa bar had great fixings. Absolutely liked the pickled onions, cabbage, limes, and radishes. Ordered the Cali birria burrito with ramen, Torta De Birria with consomé,, Horchatas, and 3 kids cheeseburgers. Everything was great except the cheeseburgers, kids wouldn't touch them as they were kinda burnt and didn't look very appetizing but I guess that's what I get for ordering cheeseburgers at a mexican restaurant...$35 just in cheeseburgers down the drain though. Each employee was friendly and helpful. They have several comfy booths plus tables. There's also a large private dining room. Plenty of parking. You order at the counter then they bring food to your table. The food was delicious. They have complimentary tortilla chips and many options for salsas, sauces, vegetables and limes. They have coffee and a variety of bottled, canned or fountain drinks. They also have Mexican candy and frozen fruit bars. Stopped in and ordered the #2 Carne Asada plate which came with marinaded tender beef cooked just right. Rice, beans, flour tortillas (corn is an option), cooked jalapeño and cooked onion, guacamole, lettuce, sour cream and chopped tomatoes (like a salsa). Wife had the #7 Carnitas plate and just as delicious. And two chicken street tacos with the marinaded chicken cooked yet still tender and juicy (not dried out). This food is about as authentic as you would get in SoCal. Restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating at this time of the year (Summer). Located in a shopping center (strip mall). Plenty of parking. The service took way too long for a taco salad to come out that had no meat. Lettuce had brown accents all over it! Don't recommend unless your old grandparents want to go here. read more

It's cheap food. That's about the best I can say. We picked up from Tacos El Guero twice during a two week stay in the area. Here's how I'd rate everything we ordered: 4-Stars: chilaquiles w/ scrambled eggs, breakfast burrito w/ ham, burrito w/ al pastor 3-Stars: kids bean & cheese burrito, barbacoa, chorizo, al pastor, & carne asada tacos 2-Stars -- guacamole w/ chips, California burrito Orders are placed at the counter at the front door, which is odd. During the lunch rush, the line can back up significantly. So if you go, don't go between 11:30 AM & 12:30 PM. I'd go back again, b/c it's an inexpensive way to feed the family. But, I wouldn't go for the taste of the food. read more

Considering where is located it's ok :) the quality of the meat very good, very good variety of the sauces for tacos. My nachos were good but served cold I still ate them so that says a lot about their nachos ;) They bring your food really fast, tacos are good too. Friendly staff. I used to love this place for the fall off the bone short ribs and red sauce. Its changed. The sauce was good but the ribs were not good. My husband ordered the enchilada michoacanas with chicken. The flavor was good because of the sauce but the chicken was fried burnt. The meat was dry and there was very little meat on the bone, perhaps from being burnt. He should have sent it back. The service is a little strange, one plate comes out at a time. I was served my plate first then about 5 minutes later my husband was served his plate. I noticed this with other tables, too. Every inch of this restaurant was so clean! The asada street tacos and beef enchiladas suizas were so very good! The salads bar was delicious and each salsa was full of flavor.
