It was our first time here. While waiting in line we asked one of the locals what they recommend. We were told "everything is good". They recommended the quesataco de barbacoa, mulita, and the nachos. We ended up ordering 3 quesataco de barbacoa (5/5) and a queros burrito (3/5). The burrito was good but my husband said the chicarones were a little hard. There are tables and chairs for dinning. There is also a small salsa bar for self service. The ambience is busy. We beat the rush. After we ordered there was a consistent line of people ordering. It's currently after 10pm and there are still people ordering and eating. If we lived in this area we would definitely keep coming back. Such good food!

Went for a post dinner snack and night tacos sounded great. The food truck is conveniently located in a corner with bright lights. There's a mini dining area right outside or you can buy it for to go as well. The food smelled great, quick to make, and quite tasty. We only tried their carne asada and al pastor so far but we liked them quite a bit. Good amount of toppings provided and we didn't think they were skimpy for the price of each one. Definitely would consider them for taco Tuesday nights for their tacos or trying them on special burrito nights. Well worth a try and future visits!

When all else is closed, the truck tacos is where to go! Kind of rhymes lol Feel like everything closes too early these days. Luckily, we have the taco trucks working hard late at night. I pass by this taco truck at least a couple times a week and always have a long line. You can't miss it if you're ordering at night with their bright light show! Their food looked good in the pictures and I had to try'em. When I got my order, they did not disappoint! Exactly what I expected and it was made with the quickness! Chicken tacos were spot on and the azada fries were fresh and the fries were crispy! I was afraid to eat from these taco trucks but now that I've tasted it, definitely going back for more. They even pack on the food and the price is super reasonable. I highly recommended trying this place out especially when you got them last night cravings!

PSA: Come here for taco tuesday!! It's only $1.50 for either carne asada, carnitas, and pollo tacos! Their tacos are fresh and always packed with a lot of meat and filling. This is me and my boyfriend's favorite place to get authentic Mexican tacos now. They also have chips and salsa that is self serve which I love. This time around, we also got the carne asada fries and they really packed it! It also didn't taste too oily unlike other places which is great. Everyone that works here is also very friendly and they are pretty fast and efficient when it comes to waiting for the food. Can't wait to come back again. So yummy!

The food always hits the spot here. We always try to go on Taco Tuesday. It's only $1.50 a taco then! We still splurge on the shrimp and asada taco tho that's more but it's soo good!

First timer and I must say .. why. Is in why did I wait soooo long. I ordered Asada tacos and man oh man were they delicious! They use yellow tortillas..my fave!!! I know there's a ton of taco vendors popping up that are not permitted. Popping up in every corner it seems. Some taco trucks have brought it up to the city but for the taco fiends .. tacos are tacos :) I'll stick to my taco trucks. Supporting local is what I am all about and Tacos a Guerro is a local fave! Great service !! I got my food pretty quickly!

**USED TO BE GOOD** The first few times I came here the food was pretty spot on. I recently went and got my usual burrito de cabeza. After several bites, I hardly got any meat inside. It was pure cold rice and beans. I even paid extra for cheese and the cheese wasn't even melted. On another note I paid in cash. The cashier didn't even bother to give me my change back. I know it was a few cents back, but come on. I don't think that's legal to begin with. read more

My uncle is disabled and cannot serve himself the salsa or other condiments. The staff always notice and help him by packing his condiments for him. They get off the truck to help. Excellent staff/service and great food! read more

I'm so happy I no longer only have the option of getting Birria tacos if I am in LA, because I have officially found a spot in Oxnard! These Quesatacos are big! I ordered 3 thinking that was enough, but the size of the tortilla and amount of meat is very generous which is good compared to other Birria spots. The quesatacos are $3.50 each which is not bad due to the huge taco that they serve. The tacos are juicy and perfect. I docked a star only because they charged me for the Consomé :/ where other spots give it complementary with your birria tacos! The line is sooo long if you come here during anytime of the day hahah so be prepared to wait! We ordered the Barbacoa nachos and asada fries. Over all great food. The food, the service and ambience ... everything is spectacular! You can also order ahead of time on GrubHub because the line is sometimes long, but it's so worth the wait! thank goodness i picked the right taco truck with the best menu at the event paak house 2021! this had the best menu, but also the longest line lol and for good reason! by the time we got to the front they were handling the large crowd amazingly! a nice staff member came up to us and took our order. we had a lot of questions and she did not rush us at all and explained nicely the answer to our question! we got our horchata first quickly and then our food a few minutes later! THE ORDER: -special 3 barbacoa quesatacos with 4oz consome + drink ($15) - DUDE worth the money! these were so bomb... basically a taco but with a fat slab of cheese inside omg with a bomb broth!! plus the drink can either be soda, horchata or agua fresca! we got horchata and it was amazing! totally filling for one person! -mulita al pastor ($4.50) - basically a taco sandwich similar as the quesataco but tbh it didn't taste as good like the quesataco. solid but I just recommend the quesatacos more! -asada burrito ($9.50) - ok... solid but in the middle of the burrito was just ALL rice. not the best burrito but solid and a good size! I've been ordering their special, barbacoa taco with choice of fresca. I recommend the cucumber mix with pineapple juice but it's only available friday and Saturday. open time are mon-sat 4pm till late... closed on sunday and first of every tues per month. read more

This place is fire off vineyard in Oxnard, the line was long but worth it. Got the queso tacos combo , with an Horchata . Everything was good and the meat was packed in the tacos, I am a big boy and 3 tacos got me full. The salsa they make the green avocado one like the one in Mexico was fire, also the orange salsa was great. We also got chapurada it was really great, the Horchata was great . We also got the carne asada fries they were alright, They have a great menu, but the Queso tacos were bomb. Can't go wrong, think they have deals on certain days and customer service was good, they all respected the Covid Saftey Protocols. read more

Dont let the long lines fool you, they are great at time management. another thing I love is that you can call your order in for pickup. Omg the tacos de barbacoa with the consome is AWESOME! Soooo good! I reheated one taco that was left two days later and still just as good because the cheese melted getting all gooey making it even better! Portions on tacos were really generous. Will be returning to try other options BUT also still getting the tacos, even if I'm all the way in LA. Be prepared for longer lines but worth the wait! The quality has definitely gone down since a few years ago. I ordered the asada nachos 2 years ago and they were the most tasty, mouth-watering, scrumptious nachos ever. They were worth the $. Just got some today and they were . They could've been better but they weren't. The cheese wasn't melted and they were so salty. They were kinda cold too. I couldn't even finish the nachos. Please go back to your old way of making them idk what you did but they used to be way better!!! read more

Protip: The bottle cap opener is on the utility pole next to the truck. Great taco truck! Barbacoa and cabeza and carnitas are my favorite in that order. Come on Wednesday night if you like chicken tacos for the special. Otherwise, come every night except Tuesdays. read more

Two star tacos with four star service... I was attracted to the truck from the moment I first saw it - bright red, well-lit, music playing --- looks like something you'd run across in Mexico...usually a line or crowd congregating so I figured why not try on my way home some night... tonight was that night. Was helped quickly by a helpful young lady-she went through the menu w me and I settled on a stack of tacos: barbacoa, lengua, pastor and the "chupacabra"...I chose the chupacabra, well....because it sounded pretty bad ass! This place has a crazy assortment of food choices, quesatacos, asada fries, mulitas y mas.. service was quick and the crowd standing around was lively...I was feeling good! Food was ready in about 15 min and smelled great-I was pumped! Seating is limited, so I took it to go because I'm close by.. Verdict: Barbacoa was the hands down winner-flavorful, in a semi crispy shell and really fantastic w the avocado salsa (4/5) Lengua - little fattier than I'm used to, but the grilled onions were a nice touch. Chupacabra - meh..not as flavorful as the barbacoa, little bland and greasy Pastor - didn't work for me...it was covered in a really spicy red chile that took away from the sweet smokiness that I love about pastor..probably the biggest miss of the bunch. Also super greasy...like too much grease. In the end, the barbacoa would be worth revisiting-but with so many damn good taco options in El Rio and Saticoy, it's unlikely I'd jump back in w El Guero... read more

Love coming here for tacos but today i don't know if the girl at register was having a bad day that she got my order wrong I order 1 asada tacos and one tripa and one lengua ...once I got home got annoyed because she gaved me two pastor tacos one tripa and one lengua and to top it off no lemons plus the girl at the ready window maid a face when my husband wanted salsa like como on why work at a place you need to have customer service...hope they train them better didn't even enjoy my food read more

You gotta Try the red salsa such a bold flavor with a complimenting spice! I had it with my Asada tacos and it really set it off! As well as the queso taco de Barbacoa with "el consomé" dip it before every bite! I'm definitely coming back! Ps make sure to get either the horchata or the Jamaica either way you can't go wrong! read more

I'll start of by saying I have been a weekly customer for at least 1.5 years now. Their chicharron is TO DIE FOR! It's definitely my favorite BUT.. all of the meats they offer are delicious, from the asada to the birria, I can count any carne to be amazing. The owners are the nicest and the girls who help, super sweet as well. They do have a few tables available to eat your food fresh and they have music playing as well so it's a great vibe! This is a…read moreregular Oxnard Taco truck, simple servings of tacos, burritos, tortas and some other items like their popular gorditas that are stuffed with beans cheese and your choice of meat. So taste-wise? They are ok, nothing great but a good late night spot to catch some tacos. Here's a rundown of their meat offerings: Asada - Not that good, but then again tell me one place here in the Nard that knows how to do this right. Pastor - Just ok, they cook it on the flattop just like all other taco places but the flavor is decent. Lengua - Very good! My favorite of all, very tender and flavorful. If you add the green sauce and a little salt you'll be in tongue heaven, yes that is a thing! Barbacoa - Not bad, was missing a little salt but over all good flavor. Tripas - Nope I don't eat this, not even in Mexico, I have to draw the line somewhere. Chorizo - Pretty good overall, decent seasonings not too fatty, it would be great in a gordita or a quesadilla. Cabeza - Not that great, still too watery and lots of fat on it, however I did hear some lady order it without fat?! Is that really a thing?? I might try this again. Still left to try: Chile Verde, Colorado. Like I said, this place is not a show stopper but when you are sitting at home watching TV on a late night and you get the cravings for some Tacos, this is not a bad place to try. Also the ladies running it are very nice and accommodating which is always good to have.
