These tacos get better every time we go. We literally start driving by Saturday morning to see if they are there yet and keep driving by until we see the blinking lights. Delicious & flavorful, super clean and tasty! We take out of town visitors and everyone loves it. Everything here is good. Tacos, quesadillas, burritos. The kid taking the orders is epic and all the guys rock!!! Thank you Jerez crew!

One of the best (if not the best) taco trucks in Oxnard. Low cost, fast service & not to mention delicious. The best tripa(trip) tacos i've ever had, truck or restaurant. The tripa is cooked crispy just how i like it. Really easy on the teeth. My mouth is watering as im writing this review. Second favorite are the chicken tacos; juicy & tender. I've had chorizo, lengua, asada & al pastor here - all pretty good. They give you grilled onions and a serrano chili. Try it out, i guarantee you'll like this place.

Friday night starts out with $1.50 carne asada tacos for us. Tacos Jerez became our regular spot after our first try. A true local secret in Oxnard where you'll find the truck parked at corner of Pleasant Valley Road and Saviers on Friday and Saturday nights. Tasty and flavorful and served with sides of grilled onions, cucumbers or radishes. They have several types of meat but I'm seriously hooked on the carne asada!

Listen I will forever give any food spot some credit, but this place is actually not good at allll I got loaded quesadillas, of course de asada, tell me why the meat was SO unseasoned like it was made with just a pinch of salt and black pepper...and also tell me why the gave me a half cooked mini potato with RAW seasoning, the half cooked potato had more seasoning then the meat read more

The authenticity of a taco truck setting did not disappoint with the taste. The size was perfect the corn tortillas were soft and the meat was juicy. They have other parts of the animals such as cheek jowl and intestine, if that interests you. Conveniently located at a main intersection. The lady who took my order was super friendly and explaining all the different kinds of tacos and even made recommendations. Only negative is that they do not carry any bottled water. You only have to take soda or juice. read more

The location of the taco truck is a bit sketch but other than that the carne asada quesadilla I ordered was very delicious. I also ordered 3 tacos, 2 carne asada and 1 chorizo. The tacos were alright. What stood out with bold and great flavor was the carne asada quesadilla. read more

The best tacos in Oxnard! So, so good. Al pastor and asada are BOMBBBBBBB!!! It's difficult to come across good and clean taco trucks, but this one is definitely it. I believe they have the same truck but in Ventura, too. I'm guessing different family members are in charge of the different ones. They serve cucumbers and cebolla asado with your plates and they're so good. I could never complain! Good pricing, too read more

We were in town on vacation and this came up with good reviews. The tacos are as good as most of the best street tacos. I wasn't blown away but I was satisfied. The menu variety is small: tacos burritos quesadillas and some soft drinks. Wished they had some chips and salsa or something. I would probably go for the quesadilla next time. read more

Wow I used to like this truck but lately they just suck. Last 2 times ordered my goto asada burrito sour cream&cheese (which was not there) and these burritos looked like from a fckin kids menu $7.50 bull shit. Really ripping people off yeah they driving new fking trucks on us. Stay away from all there taco trucks. Really pissed me off. read more

I agree with Rob G! Great food & service! I'm an Asada taco lover & so are the others in my house. Some nights I head from work in Ventura straight to this truck on my way home (we live almost to Pt Magu). It's really a trailer but you won't miss it! They usually arrive by 6pm. On Friday night I stopped there & have been craving more since & I think that will be dinner tonight! I hope they're there on Sunday nights (don't remember if they are). I want to know where this truck is during the day on the weekends so we can find it for lunch! I'll try to remember to ask them! Enjoy!!! read more

Hands down the best taco truck around and that's compared to a lot of places in LA too. The seasoning is great. Usually there's a problem with not enough seasoning at other places but not here. I usually request they heat my tortillas to the point of slightly crisp and extra grilled onions on the side. Not a problem! The owner is really nice too. He gets to know you if you go often. I usually frequent once a week. My only complaint is I wish they had carnitas instead of el pastor and opened up during daylight hours. read more

You get what you pay for to be honest. The tacos here are not bad at all here don't get me wrong. Feels like they can put alittle more effort. The tortillas are like store brand, the meat from the asada was a bit dry, i did come a bit early thou, could not be fresh.( usually they have the meats fresh when it's night.) Their carne asada is well cooked, not chewie at all. Same goes with their chicken. Overall not bad just a lite improvement read more

They have a small menu but it works in their favor cuz they focus on what they do have and the quality didn't disappoint. I had three tacos here and they were fantastic. Full of flavor, very authentic and I left feeling full and satisfied. I'm very pleased I found this place cuz it can be hit and miss with a lot of places around here so it's nice to have found a taco place that just makes excellent tacos at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them if your hungry and craving some tasty Mexican food. read more

I come to this taco stand quite often it's always parked in front of island pacific until 12am everyday. They make really good and authentic tacos and at a good price. I'd take these over your run of the mill Taco Bell or del taco any day. read more

Still pretty good tacos. Except last nights asada had more gristle in it then any other time we've gone, had one too many bites of fatty meat, not a fan of that. ALSO, something that really bugs me about this truck is the past few times i've been, i always ask for extra salsa and they don't seem to want to give it to me, they instead tell me there's ONE in the bag... ONE extra salsa for 7+ tacos and a burrito? Doesn't seem right to me. Its tacos and burritos, salsa is an absolute must. Id even pay extra for it if they asked? But they don't, instead they make it seem as if i'm a bother. May not return this time. read more

Well once I got home i discovered there was no lemons it all with my order. I need lemon with my food so this caused for me to now have to make another run out after getting home. This service was very dissappointing. If they could at least be honest and tell me there is none would be much more appreciated than being lied too. The burrito was ok. Not really worth the hassle of this experience. With many trucks in the area just make sure to consider this experience. Stay safe out there folks, till next time!

Sadly it was just a plain white bread with a few types of cheese not even melted all the way. YUCK! Anyways, they did have tons of other trucks there and it is a definite must go for everyone that loves all types of food.

We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, and hot links which came with garlic bread and two sides of our choice - the star of the show was for sure the burnt ends, which were juicy and deeply flavorful. The brisket was moist, which I feel like is hard to find, but I do wish it had more flavor. The hot links were also good but didn't have much nuance either. Next time, we'll definitely save room to try some dessert, which was only $5! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!

A large white board was the menu. Lots of options to pick from. However with the variety we ordered the food was just ok with the grilled snapper and fries being the stand outs. The fried fish seemed a bit too oily, the tempura batter too thick on the vegetables and the clam chowder needed more flavor. Given the years in business, I was hoping for more from the food.
