It was one of those times you put the first bite in your mouth and you're saying mmmm before you're done chewing. That first bite was pastor fries. Sadly they didn't have curly fries at the time. We also got the quesatacos de barbacoa with consome. Yum as well, but I'm sure it's better fresh so it's still crunchy. Had to wait until we got home to eat so it wasn't as crunchy. We wanted to visit this place because everyone spoke about how delicious it was. My family and I went this past week and we weren't too happy. The service wasn't good, the men working there were not friendly at all. Although the tacos tasted fine while we were eating them, as soon as we got home we all became sick (our family of 4). The best tacos I've had outside of my kitchen. I usually don't do food trucks, but this place is so good. With a ton of competition this place is our go too. On busy evening when I don't cook the husband makes a trip, or when we are coming home late from somewhere and need to wrap up the day. Saw this taco truck advertised on Trendi Eats. We've always had good luck on whats recommended by the host so we decided to give this one a try. First of all, we waited in line for about 30 minutes which gave us plenty of time to think about what to order. We decided on the barbocoa nachos, carne asada fries and the carne asada quesadilla. My boyfriend had the Agua Verde and I went with the Jaimica drink. They do not skimp at all on the portions, every container was filled. The reason for the 3 star review was that everything except the carne asada fries were extremely greasy. I had the nacho box tilted a little while I was eating and a puddle of grease was forming in the corner which grossed me out. I only ate half of it and threw the rest away, very disappointed. The quesadilla was the same. The tortilla was greasy inside and outside. The carne asada fries are delicious! Every fry was loaded with meat and cheese and wasn't greasy at all. I remember when this place first started and they were soooooo goood. But not I feel the quality is not the same and I miss the little chips with the seasoning on them. They're also very stingy now We went and ordered a lot of food from them and when we saw we didn't get a lot of salsa we went back to ask for more and she said "I only have one left" but I don't know I highly doubt that and I know it for a fact actually because they gave my friends some too after. My friends said the lady handing out the orders was rude to them as well. I don't know it just doesn't seem the same anymore after all the hype they got. Wish they would have stayed true. The quesatacos are never crispy anymore and always soggy. And the aguas frescas taste like theyre from a packet.
