I used to go quite a bit when they first opened. They have grown quite a bit and the taste has definitely changed. I don't know if it's because they're producing at a much higher volume or if they changed the way the prepare their tacos. The last two times I've been here they're carne asada tacos have tasted extremely salty and a little too charred. Hopefully next time will be better. read more

On a mission to eat every delicious taco the world has to offer I think I've found my street taco Mecca. I got stuck in Yuma for work for a few weeks and ended up eating dinner here about 80% of the time. The carne asada here is seasoned and cooked so perfectly I could never help going back for seconds sometimes thirds. They have the avocado sauce and salsa down to a science complimenting the cabbage and onions, only to be sent over the top by the homemade beans. Just moved to Yuma from Colorado. Originally from San Diego. I'm pretty excited to be back where I can get some great Mexican food. And El Jaracho is just that. Can you really beat 8 carne asada tacos for $14?! And they are delicious tacos on top of that. I haven't even tried any of other Mexican restaurants in town yet. Tacos are life. I am a great fan of street food, mom/pop shops, and what some call dives. My husband had been working in Yuma for a couple weeks and drove past here daily. When I came to visit he said we had to give it a shot. I'm so happy we did. They are only open from 5:30 pm til 1:00 am so when he got off work we headed over. At first look, one would wonder if they should stop. The answer is a resounding YES. You order your food outside, go into what was once a small store, grab something to drink, eat your food, and before leaving you pay. Or you can eat outside. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. We had 6 tacos, 2 tostados, a soda, and tip for $20. Am now stuffed but planning on hitting here again. read more
