Quite simply put, it's the best Mexican food in Corvallis. Steak, Chorizo, Tacos, Burrito, it doesn't really matter what you order: it's gonna hit. Trust me, I went dozens of times over multiple years and it never let me down once. The only thing I'll say is that I wish they had more and better vegetarian options. We went here because every other place was closed new year's Eve by 5 pm. Wonderful surprise! Great food, large portions, reasonable prices. We had shrimp and burritos and fried nachos, which were a delicious surprise. It's open all sides with a roofed area to eat, and per the owner, it's Covid legal to eat there because it's only a roof, so open air. He will be open New Year's day too, so stop by! read more

Love the street tacos! One of us thinks "cabeza" (cheek meat) is as good as anything anywhere, the other really really likes the carne asada. The pastor is good but not special in our opinion. I didn't care for the frijoles refritos which came with the "three taco" plate: seemed bland and uninteresting. The dirty rice is better but also nothing special. On the other hand, they have several salsa options at the refrigerated station, ranging from mild to hotter than blazes, green and red. Also pickled onions, radish slices and chunks of lime. Inside is a sports bar and a fridge with horchata and other drinks. Outside is the food truck and a picnic table. We keep going back because of the great flavors! read more

Awesome new place in Corvallis. They have a bar inside which is very nice, simple, and inviting. The food truck is outside, but you can order food from the bar as well. DELICIOUS tacos! My new favorite place for awesome and inexpensive drinks and tacos! Every person in the bag and food truck is so nice, welcoming, and appreciative. I encourage everyone to give this place a try. I am new to the Albany area and coming from California, I am very picky about Mexican food. I was in the mood for some tacos the other day but after trying some Mexican restaurants in the area, I was very put off until somebody mention Tacos El Machin, LET me tell you...I was like WHAT?! I have stopped to pick up food after work three days in a row just this week!! I work in Corvallis so needless to say, I was elated that they have a spot on 4th as well. I had the chicken tacos. The flavor was pretty good (i have had better) and portions were really good. I felt like the chicken was pretty liquidy. I play it pretty safe with food, and not much into spicy so I didnt try any salsa. I'm curious now to go inside next time for the salsa bar and also try other meats! This is my favorite spot in town to get AUTHENTIC Mexican dishes. The food is phenomenal, I would highly recommend trying their street tacos at $2 a pop. My friends and I also like Tacos El Machin for the low priced beer and inside bar. While the interior could use some work with more decorations the food and beer is well priced and will surely put a smile on your face.
