I had a hard time finding authentic Mexican food and finally I found a taco truck with authentic flavors. I ordered a quesadilla de Asada and the meat was well seasoned. They used a Mexican American blend on the cheese which was a little disappointing but it was still good. Most traditional Mexican places just use mozzarella cheese. Sodas are Mexican kind and also offer the Mexican coke which is the best. Sauces were authentic Mexican flavors as well. I look forward to trying other items. I've heard the beans and rice are not great here but we will see. Service was great, kind and quick. If you need a physical receipt you will not get one but you will get it email or text form. The presentation was really good and had some flavor. The pork was really good. Service was excellent. The asada (beef) was not good. Mexican asada has the basic seasoning, salt and pepper and lime. The flavor was well beyond the basic. The chicken for tacos is usually grilled and cut in bite sizes with basic seasoning as well. The chorizo were awesome. This food truck is a hidden gem! I decided to get out and walk around and I had noticed Tacos Jalisco when I started my journey. I was hungry as I was heading back to my room and decided to check it out. I was very excited to find out that they cook with canola oil. The lady at the window and the cooks were so friendly and were happy to make sure that it was just canola oil and not a blend. I ended up ordering 3 tacos, 2 were Carne asada and one was chorizo. They were delicious! I had an Oramge Fanta as my beverage. It was in a glass bottle and I feel that adds to this food truck being a hidden gem. Very good tacos. Had the 2 tacos (carne asada), and a fish taco. Very well prepared. Fish taco is either flour, or more likely white corn flour. The carne asada tacos were yellow corn. They were perfect. The asada Tacos comes with the hot sauce in a container, which is nice since my wife can't take any heat at all. The sauce does have a tiny, tiny amount of heat, but it's very tame. Tasty though. Flautas with flour tortillas with one strip of guacamole: not authentic To top it off- I Ordered $18 plate of quesabirrias and consomé and didn't get it. Went back to find out they didn't have any. I was offered a side of guacamole. I asked for a taco instead and they said no. Suddenly, magically, the consomé appeared. All that was authentic was the Jarritos drink.
