This place definitely earned the five stars. The food was soooooo good. We got 6 tacos, 2 each of the asada, carnitas, and barbacoa. We got a "special" which had bacon in it as well. It was good, but not as good as the original. My only complaint was the HIGE amount of onions but I assumed it was part of the cuisine and just enjoyed them as they were. They. We're. So. GOOD. Best shrimp tacos! Ever! (So good that I came back twice on my key largo visit). I was never a fan of shrimp on my tacos till I visited this food truck. The shrimps are seasoned over the grill just right, and are complemented nicely with the purple cabbage and pico salsa. The guac and chips are on point. The chips were freshly cooked and still warm when we got them - it doesn't get better than that. The server on the first visit, and the order taker (I think she was the owner) on the second visit both came around a couple times to check on us at our table. Fresh, tasty, and well made food. Best Quesadilla Ever (according to my son, our family expert). That alone gives it 5 stars. Guacamole was excellent and the tacos were quality. Some great sauce choices as well. One really spicy one I loved. Built up to get very warm. This is a small place with more outdoor seating than in. Line moves pretty well when they have two people taking orders, so don't be alarmed. Food comes quickly. Friendly staff. Bathroom room (single room) is around the corner, in the building but you have to leave the restaurant area, go around to the side driveway and you'll find it there. We saw the food truck next to an ice cream and chocolate store on US 1 in Key Largo. We were just returning that night from a local Mexican restaurant. The red food truck looked newly outfitted and there were a lot of people in line for food. We stopped to look and decided to have our desert at the ice cream shop, but decided to return today with 2 friends to try Tacos Jalisco. That was the best decision for a late lunch we have ever made. We have tried a number of food trucks from Atlanta to Portland to Los Angeles and New York. This food truck stands out as a class in itself. We had the freshest ingredients made, most tasty tuna tacos ever offered, from a restaurant, food truck, or any other vendor. No kidding! Wow this place was place was incredible! I tried the Shrimp and Loco tacos and they were absolutely amazing! The Shrimp seemed super fresh and the whole staff was working really hard but you could also tell that they were taking cleanliness very seriously. I was so looking forward to dining here and I am very disappointed that I did not get to. As I walked up to the window to order and be greeted I noticed that an employee in the back preparing the food was on her cell phone with gloves on. The cashier asked me if I was ready to order and I said I needed a minute and I let a couple behind me go ahead. I then proceeded to watch the same woman who was just on her cell phone with gloves on stop using the cell phone and go straight to preparing someone's order. Same gloves. Same hands. Preparing a dish of something I could not make out. Maybe chicken, cheese or limes. Maybe lettuce. Yes is very basic food service. Rule number one, clean hands. There is no excuse for going straight from your cell phone to raw food that someone is about to consume. read more

Thankful to have found our new go-to taco shop on the island! My friend who spent a good bit of time living in Mexico City gave these tacos an A+, so we will be back! We tried the Chorizo, Al Pastor, and Original tacos (all $2.50-3.00). The Al Pastor was the best hands down, but I would get any of them again. They also sell fresh fish tacos (4 for $11.99), and we will be back to try those as well! They have an outdoor seating area and delicious hot sauces made in-shop.
