Really good tacos!! My husband got the fish tacos (4), and I ordered one steak, one pork, one chicken. But it wasn't enough food. For one grown adult, I recommend purchasing *at least* six tacos. We basically just ate a really good snack. They also have really good mild hot sauce (green). We took it home and dipped some chips in it. Yum! These tacos are very authentic, which is hard to find in Florida. read more

Hell yeah, tacos the way they're supposed to be. Hot fresh, fairly priced and eaten on a picnic table with a cold drink and hot sauce. Do yourself a favor and stop at this roadside delight. Order the shrimp tacos they're excellent. read more

Slow service but AMAZING TACOS. It's a food truck with some dining tables outside right by the truck. We got the lengua tacos ($3/piece) and original (also $3/piece), and they were incredible. Lengua was definitely my favorite. The hot sauces are all pretty mild as a heads up. Will definitely be back! read more

It had been a while since I had been here. I am not sure why. Absolutely the best food truck burritos I have had. They use fresh avocado and these are large. I always get chicken, but you have a big choice. This trick is always busy. Yesterday was a 20-20 minute wait. Should have called ahead. Lots of folks were calling in their orders yesterday while I waited. Next time. Portions are generous. I swear my burrito weighed a pound! Bargain at $10.50. I brought it home and couldn't finish it. It was two meals for me. Oh, you can pick a salsa that comes in a little container. Medium is hot. Have not had the hot, but I am betting "habanero" hot! Can't wait for my next lunch here! I had the fish tacos, which were good, but the real star (in my opinion) was the al pastor taco, which my husband got. Tender, very flavorful pork! The chorizo and original tacos that he got were also amazing. The hot sauce was flavorful and addicting (the hot level, they also have medium and mild which we didn't try). Jalisco was highly recommended to us but was a little disappointing. Overall, the place was decent. Nothing to jump out of your chair over. The tacos are generally pretty small, which the cashier was very kind to tell us as we ordered. The price matched the size ($2.50 for one taco), which we appreciated. I ordered the original with steak, a chicken taco, and a carne asada. Nothing to complain about, but I wouldn't say there was an abundance of flavor. The tacos could be better served with some more fillings. Most only had meat and chopped onion in a tortilla. My girlfriend was very impressed with the fish tacos, however. Those looked like they had more filling than what I ordered. The pico de gallo was very good. I ended up putting some in my tacos. I also enjoyed all three hot sauces, all were very tasty (mild, medium, and hot). The service was very good. The workers were kind and helpful. We also got our food very fast. Not a lot of negatives but nothing I'd enthusiastically recommend. read more

Best tacos you can get in the Dade/Monroe County area. Their lengua tacos are the best I've ever had. The fish and shrimp tacos are also delicious. Everything here is fresh and amazing. Make sure to ask for the drink special. The horchata is so good and if you're lucky they'll have jamaica. The guys here are super nice and will go above and beyond! I like this little place. I have been there several times and have not had one complaint. They make the best cucumber lime fresca I've ever had. I usually eat the steak tacos. Bogey don't skimp on the meat. I also like the guacamole they make. They have a little seating area out back of the truck that is a cute little keysie place to eat. Not normally ones to drink much on vacation, my wife and I instead opted to live in the moment and enjoy the island life, especially since it was 30 degrees when we left Ohio that morning. As such, we each ordered a rum punch (pictured), while my best friend ordered a Bulliet old fashioned and his wife a house margarita. With drink orders out of the way, Deja, our absolutely delightful waitress, took our food orders: sauteed seafood combo (for my wife), backyard BBQ burger with coleslaw (for me), burger and fries (for my BFF and his wife, who -unlike us- were smart enough to save room for dessert). While waiting for our meals, we took in the ambiance of the restaurant, and wow was there a lot to take in! First off, we loved how the old Pizza Hut building had been repurposed and transformed into the embodiment of the tropical island lifestyle. From the display tables showcasing seashells and historic Florida Keys photos, to the license plate light fixtures, to the ceiling-mounted blue sky and clouds panels, to the fish hanging in front of each distinctively Pizza Hut trapezoidal window, we loved it all! When our food arrived, it looked fantastic and tasted even better. My wife described her seafood combo as being excellent, with the Caribbean lobster "almost as good as the ones we get in Maine." Likewise, her fish was fresh and delicious, while the shrimp were succulent. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and was topped with expertly caramelized onions and bacon with just the right amount of crispness to it. My coleslaw side was also excellent, with the perfect balance of creaminess and zing. Our friends also said their burger and shoestring fries were fantastic. To round out our meal, each of the four of us ordered pieces of Key Lime Pie, which was some of the best I have ever had in my life (and I have eaten a lot of Key Lime Pies!)! Throughout our meal, Deja checked on us often without being overbearing, and kept the drinks flowing. All told, for 5 drinks, 3 entrées with sides, and 4 slices of Key Lime Pie, our bill before tax, tip, and credit card surcharge was $163.93. Considering the excellent food and outstanding service we received, the four of us universally agreed it was well worth the price! Friendly, but talked a little too much and didn't write anything down, so kept forgetting things. The Ugly: Unsure about the entire restaurant, but our table was dirty. Like old dirty. Not like, they didn't wipe it down, but more like it had never seen a deep clean and stuff just kept accumulating. I had the shrimp and corn chowder. It was very watery. We enjoyed the desserts. I'm not sure if I would come back though. I'm just wondering if the whole restaurant is dirty like our table.

The gentleman who took our order was incredibly pleasant. We ordered two of his recommendations to go and ate them in our car; the taste was far better than we had imagined. It was clear that they are passionate about vegan food; their creative dishes reflected a genuine confidence and conviction in the flavors they create. The next day, we still couldn't forget that taste and wanted to have it again; we felt it was worth driving three hours round-trip just to go there for it!
