I wanted to love this place! - Great location right off I-5, clean interior, nice food selection, big burritos, relaxed but friendly staff, etc... But alas, I can not... Where's my spice?, where's my flavor? My carnitas burrito was ordered as is, "with everything / how ever it comes", I was offered add-ons - What the hell do you add-on to a burrito? I can only hope that had I wanted to add-on things I could have redeemed this thing. The meat was spot-on carnitas but needed salt, the rice - again great but that is where the thing fell flat on it's face. I paid almost $10 for a burrito and that thing had none of the spice / yumminess I've come to expect from even Taco Truck burritos. I sat there munching through piles of carnitas... searching, praying to hit a layer of salsa / hot sauce... anything besides the monotony of meat and rice. About half way through I hit a layer of cilantro and got hopefully but alas.. No - my search for flavor was in vain. Great little Mexican food stand. Never expected great Mexican in a strip mall between a Subway and a dentist, but that's what we got. It's all about the taste and not ambiance (although they have tried to dress it up with nice boat pics). We had Cameron tacos and a Chicken Tostado. Both had excellent flavor, but what made the food outstanding was "grandmas" green and red salsas. Incredible!!! Must stop for the food. read more

The only thing wrong with La Barca is the fact that they are located in Williams and not Colusa. My husband and i are chowing down on tacos and splitting a burrito so we could both try the carnitas, asada, and pollo, and we're agreeing that its thee best mexican food we've had in..... ever?? 1st visit cashier very nice, great service. Last 2 visits terrible short girl. When ordered burrito, I requested all items on the side, like I ordered the other day. She said we can't do that anymore. It struck me odd and had bad attitude. I told her she had a bad attitude and cocky. She straight up told me oh well that's just the way I am. This place is unbelievably good for a road-side stop on I-5. I ordered the three taco special for $8, and I got the pollo adobado and asada tacos. They'll give you frijoles de la olla instead of refried if you ask. The adobado is soooo good! Herby, spicy, (is that nutmeg I taste?!) and juicy. Definitely recommend. read more

I have ate here several times and the food is amazing and consistent. This family owned business provides great service and I have yet to have a bad meal. Try their adabada (spicy pork)! It was about 10 a.m. when I walked in and no one was in there a little strange.tripas we're on the menu very interesting so I asked for a small sample because I didn't want to waste $15 on meat if it was cooked badly. The guy told me the cook refused to give a sample that alone said so much about this restaurant that I never wanted to return but the guy was adamant it was all delicious. After getting my carne asada burrito and tacos I've never realized Mexicans can make such bland food. Can confirm; the carne asada is insanely dry and super salty. The carne asada burrito was bland and just so dry. It is huge though.

I was surprised by the quality and taste of the tacos! Would definitely stop here again... Don't let the outside fool you it's good food here at a fair price. Be aware...tacos are tasty but are mini sized. They were tasty but small. And there was a woman working the register who very rudely told me i could only have 2 refills on my horchata. This despite the fact I was on my on my first refill...and nothing on the menu or anything posted stating that. Anyways, I couldn't drink more than 2 glasses, so I'm not sure what her issue was. Tacos La Barca In Williams - Tacos de Lengua and a Asada and chicken - Mexican Near Me - Williams, California

Tacos Le Barca could be a GREAT burrito go to place. I have tried it 3 times now and each time the burrito weight is 50% lardy tortilla wrapping around and around about 3/4 cup very dry rice with a few beans, onions, reasonable amount of chicken, and shreds of cheese. At least the burritos use "real" cheese (or is it solid processed food product?) and not nacho cheese sauce as is used on other dishes. I asked for mild salsa and got none. I asked for sour cream and it was as if the dried up bits on the side of the container were used. Very very dry burrito. I asked for guacamole for a previous burrito and it all was at the bottom. How these burritos rate $10.50 each is unknown. It says 6.99 on the menu and if you ask for something to make it slightly moist such as gauc or SC, you walk away paying over ten dollars. The coke machine is flat and the diet pepsis are actually expired. The cashier wears gloves but never changes or sanitizes them between handling money, cutlery, napkins, chips, etc. This is a no no even without a pandemic. The counter that the food and money both get slid across is not cleaned. I want to love this place, but cannot. read more

Found this little spot driving through craving a burrito. Got a chicken burrito with some chips and salsa. The chicken was some of the juiciest and most tender I've had in a burrito. I was on my way to Redding and stopped for some gas at the Shell next door. I saw this place and decided to get myself a burrito. It was around 11am and I asked if they still served a breakfast burrito. I guess it was past the time they make them because she asked the cook if he would make one. He said he would. I'm glad he did because it was one of the best breakfast burritos I've had in a long time. It came with eggs and potatoes and for a dollar more I added chorizo. Great burrito.
