My family and myself found this taco stand right around the corner from the hotel we were staying at and I must say it was our greatest discovery. Being our first time trying out tacos is Tijuana we must say that we were impressed ! Everything is made right in front of you, the meat is cooked on a grill, handmade tortillas are being made, freshly chopped onion, cilantro, guacamole, salsa you name it ! They have fresh waters, sodas, and just about anything you can think of tacos, tortas, burritos, quesadillas etc. Very tasty and delicious. They also have grilled onions and chiles toriados ! They have a range of meat varieties as well although we only tried asada, al pastor and tripas. I would 100% recommend this place and I am a big taco fanatic. read more

In my circles it's simply known as "Tres". Sure their name has 3 salsas in it, but I tend to order tacos in groups of 3. 3, 6, 9, 12. Ok that's pushing it. For me a trip to Mexico is not complete without a stop at tres. As much as I love tacos on either side of the border there is something here that I haven't found anywhere in the States, heck it's even rare down here. That Banana water will quench any thirst. To me it's more refreshing than any fresca or horchata. It's not a smoothie. From what I can gather it's water, bananas, sugar. The tacos are outstanding here, but you might not find anywhere to get that banana water. This is Taco alley, where the real wars are waged. White shirts, red aprons, big bellys and smiles, look for these things and don't' be persuaded by all the others trying to draw you away. They do all the accouterments. Grilled green onions, radishes, peppers, plenty of limes and the famous 3 salsas. The traditional toppings are guacamole (not American style) and chopped white onions, cilantro and the original red salsa (chile de arbol). The verde is (tomatillo and jalapeno), the third is habanero are more optional. The corn tortillas are hand made and made to order, though they offering flour for quesadillas and other items, the tacos come with corn, don't order flour like some Texan. Something you may want to try is the vampiro style where they griddle the tortilla on the plancha until its crunchy then fill with meats, cheese, top with guac and salsa. Think tostada, but concave and no beans, it's a little sloppier. They have all the meats, asada, adobada, suadero, cabeza, tripa, chorizo, lengua (no pollo). My personal favorites are cabeza, adobada, asada and suadero, though I have been known to order 1 of each. I have always hoped they would carry huitlacoche, but that's a bit much and not in the style. They do tortas, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, vampiros. The adobada is lit, red from the achiote, crispy from the fire roast, tender, juicy, fuuuuuggggghhhh, so good. The asada and suadero are not dry at all. The cabeza is amazing, not fatty. It's not the cheapest tacos around, but this is still TJ. The loyal following of locals and travelers keeps them a heavyweight in the game. I try places my friends suggest, but we always end up here and they end up pushing tres to people who ask them. Come sit at the counter, find a spot to sit, come 24 hours, they will be waiting, who knows you might catch me down there after a day/night(s) of drinking mescal, cerveza and pulque. read more

These are the best Tacos In Tijuana there Alpastor is Amazing. They use really good ingredients there chorizo asada and tripa are the best. They also have an agua de platano wich hits the spot after drinking all day...I always bring home around 10 alpastor tacos and 10 asada tacos in a tupawear when I go back home. read more

Went here on a Saturday fairly busy, nice friendly ambiance. Husband and I had a taco de asada, taco de tripa, and tacos samurai. The tacos were ok. They were all under seasoned and the tripa was soft we like it crunchy. At the end of our meal, the guy prepping the tacos gave us a piece of crispy asada to munch on, which was a nice gesture. If Trump ever gets an opportunity to taste the Al Pastor from Tres Salsa's Trompo he will definitely rethink the whole wall thing. My brother from another mother lead our motley crew down for a weekend getaway. This place was our first stop. Just so you know we like to think of ourselves as street taco connoisseurs....tacoligists you could say of the inland empire. We've hit every street taco pop up between Fontana and Redlands, Muscoy to Riverside. So traveling to the mother land for some original folded gold was something we've been planning for a few months. As we made the trek through the wind and rain the conversation never left the topic of food, wine and the fact that our knucklehead little brother forgot to book our room so we had to split our accommodations between TJ and some condo between Rosarito and Ensenada. Turns out not to be not so bad. The condo was in BajaMar.....look it up if you don't know.....B.freakin.eautiful!!. Any way back to Tres Salsas, we started and ended our Mexican holiday with tacos and a few other renditions of such that I can't remember how to say. These guys are legit to the core of the pineapple trompo..... Not if....but when you go, sit right next to that trompo at the bar, "dos cocas por favor and dos tacos de al pastor con todo.....and get ready to loosen a belt loop cause you are not gonna stop there....chorizo, asada, tripas, some steamed meat, can't remember how to say that either, get one of everything! Tortillas never get a chance to mature. They get pulled off the grill to be filled. One little Mexican girl cranking out tortillas for two taco artist. They get busy but have no problem accommodating everyone with lighting speed. At one point I looked up to catch my breath and realized it was a taco massacre...an Asian couple had a personal guide who brought them in. Those two had to kill at least 8 tacos each. Our group, wives included were all killinem...It was awesome. My bro called it taco alley. There had to be 5 or 6 little spots but only one was getting love...Tres Salsas"....get over any fears you have of Mexico and hit this place up....you will not be disappointed....it by no means is fancy so leave your pinky finger down, besides, you'll need that to hold you taco.... read more

I ordered carne asada tacos and nothing to get exited about. Average taco just like any other stands in Tijuana. Their tortilla was small. Loads small mound of dried carne asada then slobbed with chopped onions and watery avocado. Big garbage cans next to stools took my appetite away. read more
