I am very disappointed with my order today. My carne asada fries came without pico de gallo and without cilantro. As you can see in my previous pictures, they always include both, but not this time! It is really disappointing because without those key ingredients, it just doesn't taste the same. Estoy muy decepcionada con mi pedido de hoy. The place is pretty small, but I love trying tacos so I had to check it out. I ordered the spicy chicken Tinga tacos -- they were good, no complaints, but not the kind that really blow you away. My friend got the chicken quesadillas; she enjoyed them, but when I tried a bite, I thought they were just okay. The service was solid, which definitely added to the experience. At first, $4.50 per taco felt a bit pricey, but when the food arrived, the portion size made up for it. Each taco was generously filled and actually quite big, so it felt worth the money. SO good! We came here recently as we were in the mood for tacos and down the street. Tiny place that somehow fits about 5 tables. The ladies that run the place are amazing and welcome you right away! We grabbed a seat near the counter and looked at the menu. Lots to choose from without it being overbearing. I ended up going with the chicken torta and my partner had the carne asada torta. Both were delicious and massive! I had to take the other half home! They come with two sauces. One is mild and one is hot. I have a high heat tolerance when it comes to salsa and I will even say the red was HOT! They were doing a great business on a Saturday afternoon and you could tell they were also doing a bunch of pickup orders. Parking is in the back. We will definitely return! read more

First time trying Tacos Los Cielitos, only 2 months at this location, how did I miss trying them when they were at the Food Court at Broadway Mall in Hicksville. I've been wanting to try Barria and I must say it's absolutely delicious. Husband and I shared a generous side order of Rice and Beans which we really enjoyed and a soft taco with the protein Al Pastor so yummy. This place is close to home and I can tell we will be regulars! In addition, our server was so friendly and very helpful too!! Friendly service and delicious food! The lady said they used to be at the Broadway Mall. The food is authentic. I had the tacos Al pastor. It was flavorful but not salty and had tiny cubes of pineapple. They're one of the better tacos outside of Mexico. The boys had cheese birrias and cemitas. Both claim the meats were well marinated and not loaded with salt. As we waited, we were offered some chips with homemade salsa. Salsa was very tasty. This will be our taco place now! Stopped in for a take out order tonight. Ordered a birria with cheese and two chicken tacos. They were delicious! Everything is well seasoned and the birria was juicy and full of flavor. I've been away for a year, and when I came home I was excited to see a new small taco joint near my house. The Google reviews were strong, so I decided to give it a try. Online ordering was super easy, and when I stopped in to pick up my food, the gentleman who helped me was incredibly friendly. Mexican music was playing, and the place had a truly authentic feel--definitely a hole-in-the-wall in the best possible way. Now, the food: absolutely outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, and downright delicious. I ordered a carne asada burrito and a birria taco, and both were insanely good. I'm really glad this spot is here and will definitely be back soon. Wowwwwwww....just finished eating and I can't recommend this place enough. The owner is a really great guy, the food is some of the best Mexican food I've had on the island. Used to be in the food court at the mall but moved to this location about a month ago. Support this small business!!
