The tacos had that perfect crisp on the outside, and dipping them into the rich, flavorful consomé just took them to another level. Every bite was so satisfying. The service was just as great. Stopped in here just as we were passing through Hesperia looking for a taco shop.. I ordered a bierriera taco and my husband ordered two al Pasteur and one carne asada. I initially found this place on Yelp because I wanted some delicious Carne Asada Nachos yesterday. My friend and her son picked me up after Church and we went. Wow! we were not disappointed! My nachos were so good and plentiful. My friend and her son ordered a burrito a piece...they were so fat with lots of meat inside. Coupled with the fresh condiments (salsas, cilantro and onions, etc...), what a satisfying meal!!! As we sat inside eating, and as we were leaving people kept coming to order food. It's a dinky lil place. Looks like the son & mom are running the evening I went. As I was preparing to go in, I saw a lot of folks picking their food. That's a good sign. The first thing I see when I walk in is a banquet table full of soup bowls that hadn't been cleared. Looks like I'll have to try the soup. Well the soup was the consome, but I wasn't in the mood for birria. I tried 3 tacos; pastor, asada & chorizo. All were good, with the chorizo standing out. The cook/server is very cordial and accommodating. I definitely want to return and try other items. The only off-putting element is the mess of items in the counter display at the register! Made to order tacos and more with fresh meat that's flavored just right & not dry, these tacos hit the spot. I tried this place for the first time yesterday and loved it so much I had to try again! Today I ordered all the meats up top for tacos: Asada, Pastor, Pollo and Chorizo. Al Pastor is definitely my favorite, but each flavored so nicely. I also tried the small quesabirria and enjoyed that! Both times I dined in and the guys here are super hospitable and the menu offers classic drink options, I love that they are in town. Saves me from having to go to the outskirts of town when I want a great taco. I'll still try my other places, but I've got my new go-to spot not too far from home. We walked in and there was only one guy working both front and kitchen and he was so patient and polite and can for surely cook up some great food! There was so much love in the dishes we received (not to mention so cheap and affordable) and we were very comfortable. The food was fantastic but the horchata is some of the best I've had also! This is a excellent local shop run by a young chef, John, who really focuses on quality and value. The birria is top notch and he gives a great portion of beef in everything. The birria ramen is the best I've had because he manages to keep the soup beefy and not oily like others. He will try to accommodate any request. Prices are more than fair, especially for the quality and generous portions. Any time you are near Hesperia you should try to eat here. We always do! read more

Meal was disappointing. Birria didn't taste fresh and consomme had an off odor. Lengua was just ok, beans were not appetizing and rice was in dry clumps. I was surprised to be served this. I didn't finish the food so I wouldn't get sick. No one else was in the restaurant. read more

Quesabirria is a staple in our house now and for the last year. His pastor is amazing. The chips and the sauces are eaten at home days later nothing he makes and we take goes to waste. Found this hidden gem on yelp! Location is a little hidden but it's definitely worth a drive. I live roughly 20 min away and take my daughter her at least twice a week because this is the only restaurant were she will sit down and actually eat food other then fries and Mac & cheese.
