My first impression was they have a very big menu! There were so many options and they have so many pictures of their food posted. It was so hard to choose what to get so I decided to stick with something basic (I was so overwhelmed). Knowing that this is a food court restaurant, I already did not expect this too be great but I was hungry and the photos they posted look good to me at the moment. These enchiladas were OK. The tortilla was a bit tough and stale and not enough filling. The sauce didn't have enough flavor but overall it came together if you mixed it the toppings. Went to the Auburn Mall and was surprised to see this place. Being the typical Mexican I am, I had to get something. I ordered a carnitas quesadilla (decent) and green enchiladas. Not only are the enchiladas frozen but they gave me soggy taquitos (flautas) with very little sauce. Enchiladas are supposed to be smothered in sauce and soft not soggy with crunchy ends. They didn't even warm the tortillas before making and freezing so they broke. The order was "to go" but they didn't give me any side salsas or straws. I had to go back for them and they only gave me one tiny salsa. Oh, and none of their complimentary chips either. The enchiladas are inedible so I won't be going back. I'll keep looking for decent local Mexican; fingers crossed! read more

I went to the Auburn Mall for the first time in about a year. While walking around to see what was new, I walked by this food booth. I looked at the menu and saw one of my favorite tacos. It was the beef tongue. I mentioned this to the person and he gave me a taste of it. It was awesome. The first time I had one of these was back in 1977 in Tijuana. I ended up getting three soft tacos. The tongue, a spicy chicken and a Mexican chorizo. A little cheese, lettuce, fresh Pico and their very hot sauce. Let me tell you, I was a very happy man when I was finished eating them. If I didn't have to be somewhere soon, I probably would have had three more. I will definitely go there again during my next visit to the Auburn Mall. read more

I have been to the original location in the Greendale Mall in Worcester many times and was happy when I heard this location was opening. I was a little concerned about it meeting the quality of the original. I didn't need to be. Everything I just had was excellent. Flavor and quality were spot on. The staff wasn't quite as friendly as I expected but hey, everyone has a bad day here or there and maybe today was it for this staff. Long story short, 100% recommend this restaurant. Waited over twenty minutes without being spoken to, addressed, or apologized to about the wait, and the woman working was extremely rude. I work within the mall and this woman just completely eliminated one of the three places I could eat with her attitude alone. She was wearing headphones the entire time and not once made eye contact. I had eaten at this place before in another location and was very excited about a new spot. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! We needed something to eat quickly before we went to an event at the DCU center. I headed to Tacos Mexico because I wasn't feeling the Chinese place across the way and subway was closed. I ordered two tacos for my boyfriends son, and I got beef enchiladas with the green sauce, when those were ready the woman topped them with lettuce, guacamole, cheese, pico and sour cream. Prices were very reasonable and my enchiladas came with a side of rice and beans. Everything was great and the girl helping me was so sweet. Def recommend! read more

So I had next to no expectations for this place considering its mall food but I was actually very impressed. The staff was wicked nice and the tortillas are freshly made. Need I say more? Usually small Mexican spots like this use all of the right ingredients but the meat is bland. Not here. The steak tacos were full of flavor and the beef tacos dorado were great. I recommend getting everything on both of them. The hot sauce is amazing and will actually leave a burn in your mouth. This is coming from someone who has a whole shelf in the door of my fridge full of hot sauces. Haha. Is this the best/most authentic Mexican place I've been to? The staff are all very unprofessional! You're not greeted, you're ignored when you walk up to the counter no one says hello or smiles to acknowledge you're there and the worst part of it all is waiting to be served for 20 minutes and nothing. I walked down to the register and told the girl I was ready to order and all she could say is you have to go to the back of the line to order and I said no I was at the front of the line and walked up so you can take my order, but no one said hello, or apologized for the wait. They're so rude, they see you standing there waiting to spend your hard earn money in their restaurant and could care less.
