Wet Burrito
Nicholas W.

Great spot. Popped in on a Friday after work with my partner in crime. Easy parking. The girls behind the bar took great care of us. We ordered 2 Pina Coladas, cheese dip, a Cali Burrito & a Wet Burrito. No complaints. The drinks and food were delicious & the portions were plentiful. This is what I look for when i'm in the mood for a Mexican Cantina -- we'll be back for sure.

Grilled and Fried Fish Tacos. They put the slaw on the side. The little details is great. Enjoyed the tacos.

Solid place for tacos--we mainly go here for their fish and shrimp tacos. IMO, they have the best in town. Slaw with the tacos is very flavorful. For fish and shrimp, they give the option to have it grilled or fried. I've had their lengua tacos their before but skip it-- it's nothing special unfortunately. Wish it was more moist and flavorful. This location is on the west side of Worcester in Tatnuck Square. Parking is in back but it's not a huge lot. I'm only reluctant to give a 5 star only because there were a few times they made mistakes on my order. Also if you're looking to do takeout--online ordering directly from them is very finicky. It seems to be down fairly often. Either way, solid place.

Carnitas and barabacoa quesadillas to die for! Crowd and service is great. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

So glad we had tacos & burritos there last night. Only complaint was their complimentary salsa was very watery. The guac is slammin' and their Pineapple Chili Margarita is fire! Not too spicy, just perfect. Everything else was perfectly delicious (in my family's opinion). I ordered 4 types of tacos - the Veggie, Pollo Guisado, Barbacoa Beef & Carne Asada. 2 and a half was filling. Our son had the Adobada (Pork) and Barbacoa Beef. For dessert, we ordered Churros with chocolate dip. My son loved them. I'm on a sugar fast so I haven't tried them yet. Will definitely return soon and highly recommend. Best taco place we've been to in Worcester, hands down! There's only 2 we haven't tried yet. Our lovely waitress was very attentive with perfect service. She checked on us 6 times and she has a great personality. The ambiance was good. My only complaint is the the framed true crime poster facing me on the wall at our table featuring a news article of a murdered Mexican man (not sure who he was) but photos show him murdered on a bed. Not a family friendly image. I don't have young children (son's 18) so wasn't a big deal where we felt the need to switch tables or anything - just worth mentioning.

Great food, festive atmosphere, service can be a bit slow as the place fills up. Asada Plate

A great restaurant to go to if you don't want to get a table. With service this bad and slow it doesn't matter what the food is like.

Reasonably priced good Mexican food. Service is always great. Close quarters inside but all employees work the room well.

I swear I blinked and the food we had just ordered was right in front of us. My quesadilla tasted great, especially with the guacamole. Chimichanga was also delicious, filled with flavor.

She remembered everyone's orders (without writing anything down) except my daughter's (ordered a cheese quesadilla & got grilled cheese). I didn't say anything because it was a 50/50 of her eating it anyway. We got the baby chimichangas for an app & they were pretty good! My husband enjoyed his enchilada meal and I loved my crispy chicken salad. The avocado on my salad was fresh & abundant & the fresh bacon was a nice addition, too. The portions were large and I left full. There were 7 of us eating and it seems they brought food out as it was made which meant no one's meal got cold. We would rather be served that way anyway. The only complaint was at the end of the meal, we declined dessert & asked for the check but the waitress disappeared. We didn't get the check for a long time, which would have been fine if the table was only adults. But we had two kids who were turning into pumpkins. Overall, I'd definitely go back and maybe try an alcoholic drink.

They also have happy hour specials (4pm to7pm) and Taco Tuesday ($20 AYCE in a 60 minute time frame). The place has a modern dining atmosphere with tables & booth seating and seating up at tte full service bar with flatscreen TV. The background music is very loud. I stopped by Mexitown for a late evening dinner, just after 9pm when on-street parking becomes free. The place wasn't too busy on a Thursday night and I was able to seat myself at an open table. There are QR codes at each table to scan for menu. The server brought out a glass of ice water and I placed my order for the Tacos (Chicken) Al Pastor ($20 plus tax) with rice & beans, which was served in 10 minutes. The 3 soft shell corn tortillas were filled with tender grilled marinated strips of pastor chicken & diced pinapple, pico de gallo & sour cream on the side. The Mexican rice was very soft with traces of peas and green beans. The beans had a salty flavor. After I was done, I requested the check which was $21.40 with tax and before tip. Overall, the tacos were pretty good tasting, but also having lettuce & cheese on the tacos would've been great. If I was hungry, I would've ordered the churros rellenos for dessert. The service here was adequate with one server taking care of three tables. I would give this place another visit to try out other food on the menu like cerviche, enchiladas, and fajitas.

I know that avocado is expensive, but the guacamole was $18.95 and took almost 45 minutes. There were 8 people in the entire place. We waited forever for our second drink because one of the other parties ordered a drink they couldn't find the PARTS FOR! Sounds a little crazy. Ended up going to ruby doos across the street. 15/10 and half the price.

Torito Mexican Restaurant (Lincoln St.) Rating: (and a…read morenap) If you are looking for a quiet, low-key evening where you can hear your own thoughts, stay away from the Fajitas at Torito. I ordered the steak and chicken combo, and I'm pretty sure they didn't bring it out on a plate--they brought it out on a tectonic plate. The sizzle was so loud I had to use hand signals to communicate with my date for the first three minutes. I felt like a celebrity entering a press conference, except instead of camera flashes, I was being blinded by delicious, onion-scented steam. The fajitas are phenomenal. The meat was so tender I'm convinced the chef sings it lullabies before it hits the grill. The Margarita Situation Then, let's talk about the Margaritas. I don't know what kind of structural engineering goes into these things, but they absolutely rock. Size: Somewhere between "Large" and "Fishbowl." Potency: One sip and I forgot my middle name; two sips and I was ready to audition for a Mariachi band. Taste: Perfectly balanced. Not that neon-green syrup you find at the grocery store, but the real deal. The Verdict By the time I finished, I was 40% salsa and 60% fajita by body weight. If you see someone rolling down Lincoln Street like a human burrito later tonight, mind your business--that's just me living my best life. Pro Tip: Wear your "eating pants" (the ones with the elastic waistband). You're going to need the extra room.
