The food was good and our server, Amy, was delightful! They offer mocktails and mine was delicious. A wide assortment of guacamole options. A big place but fills up on weekend nights so make a reservation.

Came here for a girls day and it was just the perfect lunch date. We started with a pitcher of the passion fruit margarita followed by chips and homemade salsa. The salsa was really good and fresh. We also got the Chili Honey Fried Chicken. So sweet and savory I got the Carnitas tacos, and the chili lime chicken tacos. We also had the steak tacos in the beef taco. All of them were really good and fresh. Our friend got the chicken burrito bowl, and it was huge. There was enough to bring home afterwards. Overall, everything was very good, the service is very quick, and our therapy was very informative.

Came here for a bite to eat with some friends. We enjoyed a pitcher of the passion fruit margarita, chips and salsa, and boneless hot honey chicken wings for an appetizer. Then we moved on to tacos. I got the steak and beef tacos. They were pretty good. Staff was really friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the menu. Restaurant was clean.

    Ocho tequila margarita. Not bad.

We attended a show at a nearby music venue and finally had a chance to check out the Mezcal Tequila Kitchen restaurant. My wife and I are big fans of Mexican food and I'm sad to say this place fell short of expectations. It was Friday night around 6:00PM and there was about 30 minute wait unless you had reservations. Not unexpected as the parking lot was full of cars. We ended up sitting at the bar and I ordered a margarita with salt on the rim. The bartender was knowledgeable about the different types of tequila and the taste did not disappoint. The only issue was the line was the size of half a lime and I wasn't able to squeeze into my glass without making a sticky mess. My wife had a Red Sangria and was happy with it. We ordered chips and guacamole to have with our drinks but had to remind the waiter that we ordered them as our main dish arrived at our seats. The guacamole was flavorless. Probably the worst I've ever had. There was no spice and it basically tasted like a regular avocado with some tomato and cilantro. I make my own, which is not very hard to do but I add a mild spice and cilantro topped with fresh squeezed lime juice. Not the case with their guacamole. We usually devour it but in this case we didn't finish at least half of it. I ordered my usual steak Fajita. I'm used to having the fajita sizzling on a cast iron pan with heaping of peppers and onions. This fajita wasn't sizzling at all. It seemed like the peppers and onions were previously prepared and added onto the cast iron pan which was hot to touch but not scalding hot. There were five large pieces of tough steak, which it may sound like I'm nitpicking but the size of the steak was really too big for the smaller sized tortilla. They only serve corn tortillas which I prefer and told me they don't serve flour due to gluten sensitivity. It seems that there are never enough tortillas to completely finish my onions and peppers so I ended up eating out of the cast iron pan. There was a slight crunch to the rice but not nearly as crunchy as the rice that was served to my wife. Overall not that great of a fajita. My wife said the salmon was good but the rice wasn't fully cooked and really inedible. The people watching around the bar was certainly entertaining. There was one particular gentleman with a pretty dark tan for April that kept us entertained. I must say he had a very nice white fur coat on. I'm willing to give this place another chance to see if it was just a bad nice but I certain my wife won't be returning. One last thing, their online menu only has their drinks listed with no mention of food dishes. I did find a limited chef special menu online but nothing else. Not great food I'm sorry to say and for the price of the guacamole and chips alone I would expect a little more flavor. Zarape Restaurant in Marlborough Massachusetts has such high quality Mexican food that the bar has been set very high. I recommend trying Zarape's if you're in the Marlborough area as a better option. Mezcal Tequila Kitchen not so good, overpriced for the quality and quantity. Liked the bartenders though.

Wanted to love it but I didn't. The hostess sat my son & I at a dark, remote table. I felt like I was in time out and it was so dark I couldn't read the menu. 15 minutes later when the waitress came to greet us, I acted like a Karen and asked to relocate to a booth close to a window and other humans. MUCH better. The menu was pretty comprehensive and the food was good. It was pretty pricey ($13-19 for guac) but I did enjoy it. Huli chicken bowl was great and my son enjoyed 3 tacos. Service was meh. Will I be back? Not sure. Won't be on my regular rotation.

We were starving on our way to ogunquit and so glad we chose this place to stop by!! Perfect burrito! Everything well wrapped up , my husband was happy with his order. My salmon bowl was everything I was looking for. Perfectly seared salmon. I was happy they did not mix up all the ingredients in the bowl as I am avoiding rice at the moment. The pineapple corn salad was so delicious full of happy energy to carry on with our remaining journey!

Walked here from the Palladium before seeing a show. Not far at all, 5 minute walk tops. It's located right in the T-Station building which is convenient. Was on a time crunch, and was worried we'd have to wait but we were seated right away and food came out in a timely manner. Started with a fall themed cocktail. The autumn wind was decent, nothing I would order again but glad I tried it. Very strong flavors. Chips and salsa were great, we devoured those quickly. Burrito was really good. The steak burrito came with a tablespoon size of queso which was so good. I wish they put it inside of the burrito or gave you more! My only complaint is that the booth my friends and I were sitting in had a leaky metal pipe over us. Every few minutes one of us would get dripped on by cold water. Yikes. TLDR: Walking distance to Palladium. Burrito rocked. Leaky pipe over our booth.

Been here three times while in town on business and each time did not disappoint. My bartenders Kara & Tim were amazing. Awesome prickly pear and coconut raspberry margaritas! Will definitely be back!

I was greeted and seated immediately. I went with my two-year-old daughter, and the waitresses were very accommodating. They asked if I wanted a highchair, which I did not need because she likes to sit with me. However, they also offered a secondary option of a little booster seat that goes on top of the booth, which she enjoyed. When bringing out the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa, they made sure to bring me a mild option (just red sauce) and a separate salsa with all the fixings (more spicy). I had a strawberry margarita, and although it wasn't the best strawberry margarita I've ever had, it was still tasty and enjoyable. For children under 12, the kids' meals are only $6.50. They all come with rice and beans, which I thought was a great value. My daughter got one of the kids' meals, the chicken fingers she didn't seem to enjoy the chicken, but I tasted them myself, and they tasted more along the lines of chicken nuggets which is okay . I thought they were pretty decent, but not what I expected! I ordered the bacon shrimp tacos, which in my eyes were five star. I really enjoyed the combination of flavors with the garlic shrimp and the side cilantro sauce. They also come with rice and beans on the side. I will always recommend and come back. The atmosphere is definitely a vibe. I love all of the decor, as well as the mirror for you to take a selfie in with the name of the restaurant in neon lights . The bar is very visually appealing

They also have happy hour specials (4pm to7pm) and Taco Tuesday ($20 AYCE in a 60 minute time frame). The place has a modern dining atmosphere with tables & booth seating and seating up at tte full service bar with flatscreen TV. The background music is very loud. I stopped by Mexitown for a late evening dinner, just after 9pm when on-street parking becomes free. The place wasn't too busy on a Thursday night and I was able to seat myself at an open table. There are QR codes at each table to scan for menu. The server brought out a glass of ice water and I placed my order for the Tacos (Chicken) Al Pastor ($20 plus tax) with rice & beans, which was served in 10 minutes. The 3 soft shell corn tortillas were filled with tender grilled marinated strips of pastor chicken & diced pinapple, pico de gallo & sour cream on the side. The Mexican rice was very soft with traces of peas and green beans. The beans had a salty flavor. After I was done, I requested the check which was $21.40 with tax and before tip. Overall, the tacos were pretty good tasting, but also having lettuce & cheese on the tacos would've been great. If I was hungry, I would've ordered the churros rellenos for dessert. The service here was adequate with one server taking care of three tables. I would give this place another visit to try out other food on the menu like cerviche, enchiladas, and fajitas.

I know that avocado is expensive, but the guacamole was $18.95 and took almost 45 minutes. There were 8 people in the entire place. We waited forever for our second drink because one of the other parties ordered a drink they couldn't find the PARTS FOR! Sounds a little crazy. Ended up going to ruby doos across the street. 15/10 and half the price.

I ordered the steak and chicken combo, and I'm pretty sure they didn't bring it out on a plate--they brought it out on a tectonic plate. The sizzle was so loud I had to use hand signals to communicate with my date for the first three minutes. I felt like a celebrity entering a press conference, except instead of camera flashes, I was being blinded by delicious, onion-scented steam. The fajitas are phenomenal. The meat was so tender I'm convinced the chef sings it lullabies before it hits the grill. The Margarita Situation Then, let's talk about the Margaritas. I don't know what kind of structural engineering goes into these things, but they absolutely rock. Size: Somewhere between "Large" and "Fishbowl." Potency: One sip and I forgot my middle name; two sips and I was ready to audition for a Mariachi band. Taste: Perfectly balanced. Not that neon-green syrup you find at the grocery store, but the real deal. The Verdict By the time I finished, I was 40% salsa and 60% fajita by body weight. If you see someone rolling down Lincoln Street like a human burrito later tonight, mind your business--that's just me living my best life. Pro Tip: Wear your "eating pants" (the ones with the elastic waistband). You're going to need the extra room.
