They were ultimately able to accommodate us, but it immediately made us feel a bit unwelcome, especially considering we specifically reserved ahead of time so the restaurant could properly prepare and staff for a larger party. Once seated, the experience continued downhill. Our waitress appeared visibly frustrated or unhappy from the start, though I can't say for certain whether it was because of our party size. One of the first things we asked was whether the AC was working, since it was over 90 degrees that day, and we were informed that it was not functioning. While uncomfortable, we tried not to let it ruin the evening because this was my graduation celebration and we simply wanted to enjoy the meal together. Service throughout the night was extremely poor. The waitress only took half of the table's drink order initially, disappeared for around 10 minutes, then returned to finish taking the rest. The same delays happened again when taking food orders. After our orders were placed, she barely checked on our table at all. We repeatedly needed napkins, drink refills, and general assistance, but had difficulty getting her attention while she stood near the register on her phone for extended periods of time. As the restaurant became busier after 5 PM, we couldn't help but notice that other guests were being greeted, seated, and attended to much more promptly while our table of 10 felt forgotten and neglected for most of the evening. I understand larger parties can require more coordination and patience, and we were understanding about longer food wait times. However, basic attentiveness and hospitality were missing entirely. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant for larger parties and hope the wait staff receives additional customer service training moving forward.

However there is an epic amount of the peppers and onion which I 100% appreciate. Our waitress was so friendly and top notch. Accommodating and available without hovering. Food was delicious, service wonderful and atmosphere comfortable (sans loud music ha ha) The prices seem to be higher than other Mexican places - ie. The fajita was $21 and usually I'd venture to say that's the shrimp or combo cost, not steak or chicken. So overall they are about $3 higher. We asked for replacement wings and the waitress asked us (in broken English) to return the burned ones. She held out an empty plate and we picked up the burned wings, and gave them to her. About 5 minutes later she returned with wings that were cooked the same as the first batch. Perhaps some people like these types of wings, we certainly didn't. Maybe this place is more of a watering hole? Then again, maybe there are some other dishes that are better than those we tried. I think that question will remain unanswered, as I doubt we will return.
