Corner of Pine Ave and Chino-Corona Rd
Beavis H.

Tucked away on the corner of Pine Ave and Chino-Corona Rd, this little hole-in-the-wall is serving up some of the best quick Mexican food in all of Chino Preserves. Got a few things on a Saturday, but the real star of the show? The menudo. Next-level. Rich, hearty, soul-warming... like it was simmering in abuelita's kitchen all morning. The vibes are exactly what you want from a spot like this: no frills, all flavor. Fast service, hot food, fair pricing. Heads up that they do charge an extra dollar for credit card processing. This is the kind of place locals keep to themselves -- but it's too good not to hype. Don't sleep on it. Tacos Michoacán is a must. Psst.. they don't feature lengua on their menu anymore, but I was able to order one ;)

On the weekends, they got Carnitas Chicharron in Menudo. I personally haven't tried it with my guess is it gonna be perfect?

I've gone here a few times already and I personally like it a lot. The tacos are great. Every time I've gone it's only one guy there and he does everything from take your order to giving you the food. I have the Carnitas they're fresh and good. I had the Cabeza, which is amazing And I also had the tripas but I do have to say I went yesterday and there was a different cook and the tripas was different, but they were still good. I do highly recommend this place if you're in the area it is a hole in the wall and I love that.

Moved in the area recently and never knew this place existed. It would be closed by the time I would get home from work. Service is super friendly. Small dining area and everything was clean. We ordered the bacon breakfast burrito and was not disappointed. I liked the flavor of the red salsa over the green. I want to come back and try all of the other meats!

Cabeza and chorizo burrito

OUR FAV place to get burritos in the neighborhood, and we are super lucky as it's literally located down the street! I've never been to the physical location but the fiance says it's a hole-in-wall next to a convenience store $7.99 for a hefty burrito that really fulfills the cravings. Last time the fiance ordered the cabeza mixed with chorizo, YUM

Pollo burrito with salsa verde!

This is an easily overlooked stop along Pine Ave in Chino, but every time I'm in the area for work I make a point to get food here! It's a hole-in-the-wall little restaurant, with some seating and a friendly cashier, and a small but legit menu mainly consisting of tacos and burritos. My go-to is the pollo burrito! They pack in rice, beans, chicken, pico de Gallo, and of course guacamole if you ask for it! And the salsa verde has just the right amount of kick. One thing to note - and I'll add this as a tip - is that they're cash only! Can't wait to come back... hopefully it's soon!

They have a great salsa bar including roasted and seasoned white chilis. My gorgeous Lady had the shrimp tacos and they were to die for. Just 1 day ago a review was left saying they got sick...but we went anyway. That worry didn't last long. The place was very clean, the staff was friendly, and since it was our first time, they walked us through the menu and helped us pick. As soon as we walked in, we felt that cool beach/surf, ocean-inspired theme throughout the restaurant. We ordered the battered shrimp tacos, which were excellent, and tried the stingray tacos too -- not something you get to eat just anywhere, and they didn't disappoint. There were multiple house-made salsas and sauces to go with everything. We also got a burrito, which ran close to $20 -- on the pricier side, but it lasted me two full days, so you can judge the value for yourself. It's a seafood spot, so the higher prices make sense once you're there. Overall, this is one of those places you really have to experience in person. Highly recommend giving it a shot, even if it means a slightly bumpier drive to find it.

I really came for the Quesobirria tacos I ordered the combo with 3 tacos and rice and beans. Also got a regular drink that did not come with the combo. Total was around $25 which kinda crazy but I understand price for meat has gotten higher so restaurants still need to make a profit. They had three salsa this I have to say was the only downside was that none of them were actually spicy at all. I'm not sure if the one I had was the habanero one that's what it was labeled, but it did not taste nor look like habanero salsa so perhaps they just didn't have that one at the bar. Once I got my plate, it looked great Every taco had a very good portion of meat inside they were nice and seasoned. The meat was not even remotely dry. It was nice and tender and juicy. Tacos were by far the best ones I've had in this area. Their rice and beans were good as well. All in all, I definitely will be coming back. Also, I love that they have outdoor seating.

You get large portions and worth the price IMO. The food came out in lightening speed ! Which was shocking and loved how fast we were able to eat. The only negative thing I can say about their new place is the service. The service was great but they interrupted our meal several times and I felt like we couldn't take a breath to enjoy the food. The server kept asking if we were ok but we barely got our food and we were asked several times while trying to enjoy it. Also the photographer just coming up to use while we ate. We literally took pics with food in our mouths. Everything seemed so rushed. With all the times we were asked if we were okay or needed anything no server came with a pitcher of water to refill our cups. None of them asked about our drinks either. I will be back but maybe in the day time and not the evening time. ( to see if it will be different) the owner or manager needs to tell staff to kind of chill on asking people if they are ok especially when we barely got our food and interrupted several times during the meal. Let people eat and enjoy it for a little bit before being asked like every 5 mins lol
