Do you know how this food has improved from what I already thought was pretty much perfection? I'm not sure how they do it but I think I have an idea. Awesome spot for tacos! I haven't been here in a long time and thought to stop by for lunch. They are normally very busy with long lines which go out the door. Friendly service. Great service. Ambiance nice and clean. Ordered 2 crispy Potatoes tacos 1 soft Carne Asada taco 1 Mexican coke You can ask for the yellow hot chili, pepper/carrots on the side. I heard the hype about Taqueria Mora and finally gave in, no regrets!! I went straight for the Quesabirria Tacos w consomé and man oh man... it was delish!! The tacos were juicy, cheesy, and fresh. The consomé was so comforting.... deep, rich, slow-cooked magic in a cup!! I'd like to thank whoever decided soup and tacos should be best friends!! Prices are much lower than other comparable tacho shops. Safe to say, I'm already planning my next visit. Despite it being full at 7pm, I only needed to wait in line behind one person before ordering and paying at the counter. I capitalized on their Taco Thursday promotion - their normal tacos cost only $1.49 (excludes head, tongue, and stomach meats). I ordered 8 tacos - 2 carnitas, 2 al pastor, 2 beef, and 2 birria. All had the usual diced onion and cilantro garnish. I also asked for lemons and extra green salsa. Best taqueria ever, not just in Chino hills. I pretty much come here at least once a week. There's literally so many options to choose from. I have tried just about everything, my go to is usually a carnitas burrito, tacos de carnitas, birria, chicken, pastor, asada. I have ordered menudo on the weekend. They tent to get really busy during lunch time and on the weekends. I recommend you call in your order so it's ready when you get there. Everyone that works there is really friendly. I love this place--it's close to my job, the nachos are my go-to, and the red salsa is really spicy. If you don't like spicy, definitely go for the green salsa instead. Today, though, I saw a woman being incredibly disrespectful. Mistakes can happen when ordering food, but the staff was very kind and offered to fix her order at no charge. Instead of appreciating that, she started asking why the cooks spoke Spanish "if this was America," which was both rude and racist. Despite her behavior, the staff remained patient, and I really admire them for that. The team here is doing an amazing job . I eat it in all forms: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, whatever. The meat is finely chopped and tender. Your chances of encountering a chewy piece of carne is pretty slim, because honestly, there is nothing worse than to secretly spit out of a piece of chewiness into a napkin. On a recent visit here, I ordered the quesadilla and it was fire. I'm pretty sure they use a combination of mozzarella and Oaxaca cheese because that cheese was cheesing. The quesadillas here are girthy and could potentially take you out of productivity for the afternoon. And this is my very favorite kind of quesadilla. They do a Taco Tuesday, though I have yet to go. This spot is so reasonably priced for such tasty food! The menudo is HUGE, definitely enough for 2-3 people. It's such a filling soup that I had a hard time finishing the cabeza and lengua quesadilla that I ordered as well. The cabeza and lengua are super tender and flavorful. Such a hidden gem in Chino Hills!! My friend and I ordered breakfast burritos and they were very accommodating to our dietary needs and willing to adjust the contents of the burrito. The family went to a day trip at Raging Waters, and we were all tired and in need of some food. We originally spotted a sushi place, but the wait was over an hour to get seated. We walked around to explore and came upon this little Mexican place, and we were very glad that we did. When you first walk in, it's set up almost like a subway. There's an area to order, and when we arrived, the line was almost out the door. The employees were incredibly fast, taking and making the orders with incredible speed. We ordered tripas and cabeza tacos, and an order of carne asada fries to go. It's not often I find tripas at a Mexican joint, but it's one of my favorite things to order. Potato tacos for the win! Idk why we don't see potato tacos more often for the vegetarians because it's so easy and one of my favorite foods! The potato was flavorful. It was topped with cabbage and I wasn't mad about that (I'm used to lettuce). It was also topped with crema and that's how it should be! The only thing missing was cotija cheese. I also loved their red molcajete style salsa with the tacos. The place has signs to guide you where to go. Order with the guys making the food first, then you pay. I first visited this business today. I chose it for its proximity to Sam's Club. I ordered 4 tacos to go with no onions. The food preparer repeated "no onions" back to me, yet my tacos were doused with onions. I picked them off of my plate while my tacos got cold. Also, the cashier offered me salsa for my tacos. Used to really like their Al Pastor meat either in a burrito or taco, however the quality and recipe of their Al Pastor changed. Somehow they mixed the old cooked left over AlPastor with a newly cooked one so some of the meat are black /burned and the flavor is so so. I was driving on the freeway on my way to rose hills from hemet and I stopped to get gas and right behind it was Taqueria mora. Looked it up and it had good reviews. I was hungry and decided to try it out. At first I thought it was closed because I couldn't see the open sign from afar due to there film on the window.
