Was greeted by the cashier and she was very nice. Clean restaurant. Nice seating area. Food on the other hand, was not it ! They fry the fish and shrimp for the Baja tacos, they let it sit, and when someone orders, they refry it in the fryer ! Absolutely not. You can tell it was refried ! And the size of the fish in the taco was half the size of the actual tortilla. I've been other bufadora restaurants, and their food was much better in flavor and in size. The shrimp ceviche wasn't bad but wasn't great. Lacked flavor. I didn't get a good picture but this was a quick shot of the fish and shrimp sitting there. Cold. I wouldn't return back to this location.

I thought this was pretty solid for a chain place. I got a fish taco, al pastor and asada tacos with rice and beans. They were flavorful and I got the pineapple agua Fresca to go with it too. The workers were friendly and the service was quick

Potato Taco

We decided to give this place a try on a Friday night for dinner. We tried the diablito fries (asked for the fries to be separated from the sauces since we didn't know how spicy it gets for our littles), potato Taco, pastor tacos both regular and street. The deconstructed diablito fries came with the fries, shrimp, creamy mayo sauce, and cheese, all separated per our request. The mayo sauce isn't too spicy but I think it was a good idea to separate out the sauce so our littles can enjoy them too. The shrimps were cooked really well and came out piping hot! It was also a generous portion. The creamy mayo sauce is great for dipping those fries in. The tacos were really good. The regular taco came with a single taco shell that's more crispy than the street tacos. I think it came to preferences. My husband liked the regular taco better but I preferred the street tacos. We both agreed that the potato Taco were the best out of what we ordered that night. We would definitely come back for more tacos! I love the green salsa as well and the grilled jalapeno that's served with every tacos ordered. It was the perfect savory and spicy treat for a Friday night dinner. The service was okay, the cashier that helped us out was a little less enthused, maybe long work day for her. But we were not greeted with a smile or anything, just pretty straight forward of ordering food at the counter, and then waiting for our name to be called to pick up our food. The place has plenty of seatings and has a restroom inside. It's kept clean and they get pretty busy as the night continues.

Been going to La Bufadora since they opened their Eastvale location and have enjoyed their food. We normally get the following: Fish Taco Shrimp Taco Asada Burrito Pastor burrito Fries The kids really enjoy the fries and it must be the oil it's fried in. The shrimp and fish tacos are delicious and are always seasoned perfectly, but I just wished they were fried a little longer. A few times the fish was not as crispy as I would like it to be. I do prefer Taco Navo better, but I go to La Bufadora more since it's closer and it still satisfies the craving. My husband says the asada & pastor is favored nicely and gave it a 5/5! The workers are friendly and I normally never wait more than 10 mins for my food. Pricing is also affordable but I would say the portion seems a little smaller than before. Would recommend you give it a try if you're in the area.

Went here for lunch because my sister had been wanting to try it for a while…read more Parking is a little weird because it's shared with a 7/11 convenience store and some spots are specifically reserved for 7/11. Still, I was able to find a spot quickly. Walking in, there's a sign that says "Wait to be seated", but when the waitress came out, she said we could sit wherever we wanted. We chose a booth by the window. I don't know how old this restaurant is, but I could tell that the booth we chose was really popular because the leather seats were so worn down that they had to patch some of the holes up. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately given menus, water, chips, and salsa. The salsa was really spicy, though, so as much as we love chips and salsa and would normally have finished it all off before our actual meal came, we could only eat half of it. Across from us was a big family of Latinos which for me was a good sign. After all, if they're Latino themselves, they could easily just make the same food at home, but if the food here was good enough for them to come here instead, then the food had to be decent. Since I'm vegetarian, I had to ask for them to not put meat in my enchilada, so the waitress just made it a cheese one. If you're vegetarian like me, there's not really much on the menu for us, but at least they're accommodating enough to leave the meat out if you ask. If you're vegan, you're really out of luck since it seems everything will have at least melted cheese on top. All of the food came out quickly and at the same time, which is appreciated since not all restaurants do that. In addition, the portions were big enough for us to eat most of it there, then be full enough to want to take the rest of it home, which makes up for the cost since it is a little expensive. Again, I don't know how old the restaurant is, but you could tell it's been aged through the years, like the paint is peeling off or splattered with what looked like salsa. Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. On the other hand, if it's been around long enough to go through that kind of wear and tear, it's a testament to the loyalty of its customers. Plus, they do try to make it look nice with balloons, flowers, and flags. And they try to clean up the tables as soon as people are done eating. I just finished eating my leftovers and it tasted as good as it did when I ate it at the restaurant. So the food is good, the sizes, especially for the cost, are decent. Just know that the place is a little worn down, but the employees try their best to smile, be friendly, and quick to attend to your needs.

When we arrived, there was live music playing, the restaurant was packed with customers, and the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. We waited about 15 minutes before being seated, which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. To start, we ordered drinks. Since a few of us planned on having beers, we asked our waitress if ordering a bucket of beer would be cheaper than ordering them individually, and she said yes. However, after doing the math later, we realized it actually came out to the same price as ordering single beers. Not a huge deal, but something worth noting. My wife ordered a piña colada, which was absolutely delicious and definitely had a nice kick to it. I also tried the mango margarita, which was refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for the warm weather. For my meal, I ordered the Surf and Turf Burrito Mojado, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The flavors were spot on, and it's definitely something I would order again on a future visit. My wife ordered the Tacos Gobernador, which were both tasty and filling. I also got to try some of the ceviche that my family members ordered, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious as well. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back whenever we're in the area. The live mariachi music made the experience even more enjoyable, the food was excellent, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

This is one of those places that really needs your Yelp help. It is located in an eclectic…read moreneighborhood, a very rural area called Mira Loma, but on a well-known, main thoroughfare. Google Maps turns you into a dusty asphalt driveway where, in the front is one stucco building that might have been someone's house at one time, and in the back is one very worn, almost sleazy, one-story building where three tiny Mom & Pop businesses compete for space. There is nothing fancy to see here, with the exception of the tiny, covered patio at the entry and a claustrophobic ordering counter on the other side of a sliding glass door. The patio walls are lined with bamboo, a couple taxidermied blue marlin, and some seaside-themed, tropical decor. There are maybe 4 tables and a cluster of chairs. I imagine, in the heat of the summer, it gets pretty hot and uncomfortable in here. And yet, reading the food reviews will make your heart go pitter-patter. Their specialty is mariscos with a Baja spin. Ceviche, shrimp cocktails, fish soup, fish tacos and burritos, to name a few. They also have swordfish and salmon on their menu. We came for the fish tacos and were we in store for a surprise! The chunk of fried fish in each taco was as big as a huge chicken tender. Our tacos were filled with moist, great tasting white fish (not tilapia)! The tortillas, hence, had to be the larger size, not street taco sized. The batter was crispy and exceptional, with a light, herbal flavor. The finishing touch was a pile of toppings, including shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, finely chopped cucumber, and an insanely delicious white crema-mayo sauce. I think the unexpected cucumber added a unique, refreshing element to an already excellent taco. The only downfall was that the corn tortilla fell apart before I could get it into my mouth. Heh, I can live with that...just give me a fork. If you thought the price of 1 taco ($4.50) was too expensive, you are wrong. One taco here is the equivalent of two tacos elsewhere. That's a great deal! This is not fast food. The fish is cooked to order. Plan on a wait. Although this is essentially a covered, outdoor dining enclosure with a dutch door style gate, please note. Pets are not allowed. There is no pet-friendly section, nor shady areas to park in their bleak parking lot. The irony of this was the number of off-leash dogs we saw wandering around the parking lot. We saw three small to medium sized dogs, and no owner. We ended up bringing our food and personna-non-grata pup home. They did a nice job with the fish tacos, and one of their customers assured me the fried and/or grilled shrimp tacos and mojo de ajo shrimp were excellent. This means only one thing...we shall return, but without the chihuahua fur baby.

The server kept asking if we were ok but we barely got our food and we were asked several times while trying to enjoy it. Also the photographer just coming up to use while we ate. With all the times we were asked if we were okay or needed anything no server came with a pitcher of water to refill our cups. None of them asked about our drinks either. I will be back but maybe in the day time and not the evening time.
