So glad I found this truck. I stay in the neighborhood every now and then and finally found late night food. They delivered at one and no issues with the time or anything. At first I was all aboard this business because the neighborhood needed a reliable cheap Mexican option and it filled the void. I have purchased from the beginning and referred many but recently I noticed a difference in food preparation quality and less customer service. I recently purchased over $60 in food for a few friends and when one alerted me they made an error and wanted crunchy shells, I asked if we could switch it out or purchase them separately and there was no concern or care for our issue. The staff member told me no and did not offer any other options. A taco truck order runs $10-$20 and I paid for everyone and am a regular like weekly. After that experience, I have not been back and wish businesses would continue to treat customers kindly especially in this economic recession. read more

My boyfriend and I have gotten tacos from this truck quite a few times in the last few weeks. We just kept going back because their tacos are delicious. The tacos are simple. Just pick your choice of protein and they put onion and cilantro on top and lime on the side. I've tried bites of different tacos that my boyfriend has gotten (beef tongue, steak, carnitas, etc.), but I always get three or four chorizo tacos for myself because their chorizo taco is my personal favorite and I cannot get enough. WE LOVE ALL TACO TRUCKS. This one is amazing. Green sauce on point, flavoring of the meats also very well seasoned. Comes with salsa verde and salsa rojo as standard very nice. Delivery was on time, no problems there. Tacos are alright, nothing particularly special-- if I decided to order again, I'd probably try something else. I tried 4 different types of tacos: carnitas, el pastor, steak, and chicken; of them, my favorite was definitely the el pastor with chicken coming in second. First of all, thank you for being open during COVID-19. I appreciate you! I had been craving for tacos de cabeza for the longest time especially since I just moved here in NYC from San Diego. This place has it and I was so happy! It did not disappoint and it is the closest I can have right now so I will be appreciative. Along with the cabeza, I also ordered tacos de bistec and a tostadas de bistec. Personally, I like fat (haha) so I appreciated their bistec. I suppose I got lucky that the cut of meat I got was a good ratio of the meat and fat. It was so flavorful and it made me crave for a piece of that, sliced onions, and rice with that flavor! I love their tostadas! I think the filling is quite decent. The better half got a plato de carnitas and it did not disappoint as well. This is a solid taco truck experience that delivers practically all night and is always fresh and hot. I usually stick to the vegetarian items, so I can't speak to the rest of the menu. I am obsessed with their tostadas. I could be a complete pig and eat 5 on taste, but order 2 and a veggie taco and am totally satisfied. Sometimes I just eat the tostadas. They are always so fresh and crunchy! My husband loves their quesadillas. If you don't want something spicy, tell them! They are always super sweet and go out of their way to make you happy. Going to Greenpoint Fish and Lobster on a weekend is truly a mission. If you don't have a reservation chances are you'll be waiting around for a long time. They estimated 30min wait and it turned out to be over an hour. We were ready to walk away 3 times but ended up sticking around as we were promised we were third on the list meanwhile more than 3 parties were seated before us (strange!). Once we were seated, we ordered right away having had time to look at the menu while waiting. Crudo, dozen of oysters, clam chowder + lobster roll. - Crudo was a bit sad with 6 pieces of fish lying on a big plate with an insane amount of salt flakes. It was fresh but don't think it's worth ordering. - East coast oysters were puny. Very mid especially because I've recently tried some at Upstate that were amazing. They're incomparable. - Lobster roll. Okay should've just gone straight for the roll because it was perfect. Buttery and fresh with perfect balance of lobster roll bread. The salad dressing also was delicious. So good! Definitely highlight of this restaurant. - Clam chowder. Also 10/10. Hearty, flavorful. Loved every bite of it. Service was average. They weren't profoundly interested in giving best service instead just chatting amongst each other and dropping off plates. Also they forgot about the clam chowder we ordered and asked if we still want it.. YES..that's why we ordered it. Overall if you don't pay attention to those details it's worth coming for some great seafood. BUT I highly recommend getting a reservation.
