The food is pretty good. I got a freak quesadilla. You have to try their potatoes with meat in it. The tacos are about 30 pesos.

I have been coming to this place since I was a kid. My grandpa would always take us here whenever we'd come to TJ. It was my bf's first time here and he loves it. We got a taco de pastor, adobada, and a mulita de asada! Sooo good!

Taco joint with tiny shared parking with other businesses in the plaza but luckily there's someone out guiding you for parking. I honestly don't know how Tj people know how to maneuver in tight spaces so good lol. It was super cold when we went but there was only outside seating. A guess does come out to take your order and he remembers everything or at least to the best of his knowledge. They have the usual street tacos and quick fixed like mulitas and loaded quesadillas. Food comes out really quick and they have sides of limes, lots of avocados, and bomb salsa!

First time coming To this little taco place in tj and oh my god!! It was so delicious! I was amazed of how incredible the tacos were and also because they have baked potatoes that are extremely delicious! The quesadillas are so good! The cheese all melted it's so yummy. You have to eat it at the moment so you can enjoy the taste of it! The tacos de asada are bomb! And all the other tacos as well my family was super happy of how greets they were! The quality of the meat, the flavor, it's so delciiius. The best part is the baked potatoes I loved it! The classic one with just butter and sour cream it's like heaven. You need to try a potatoe if you ever go here!! They have this strawberry agua fresca which is also fabulous! I loved it! Prices are super good! You pay so little For this amazing food! They have this really good spicy sauce there with avocado in it that gives it a delicious taste! Give it a try!

Who knew TACOS were a thing??!!! I sure didn't. I couldn't understand why all the hipsters were talk about beer and tacos. I think I only bought tacos one time and it wasn't even in the Mission! ahhahaahah That has all changed since Ive been to TJ's Taco Puebla. Thanks to YouTuber YinkZZ. These tacos were amazing. I have the carne asada and the Al pastor. I can't remember which taco comes with white sauce but one will come with like some type of red sauce or green sauce and then the other one will come with the guacamole. They're juicy, tender, succulent, And extremely well seasoned. The only downside I would say to the tacos are that the guacamole that they put on one of the tacos is super water down and it's tasteless though it doesn't throw off the table so that actual taco. But if I had to choose some thing I would just say that you know they could probably leave it off because it's so tasteless or just sticking it in and then you know it'll maintain its integrity. They also are right next-door to A juice shop. So you can order fresh fruit drinks and horchata. The fresa drink was made to perfection!!! This place is very unpretentious, located in a parking stall. When they do sit out tables it's literally in the parking lot and cars are pulling up next to you. It's a hometown feel it seems as though mainly locals frequent this place and the staff is pretty friendly. It's a little bit off the beaten path to most of the other restaurants and shopping and things of that nature but definitely well worth a visit and it's not too too far out from the central shopping area. I think I ate like nine tacos or something ridiculous like that. Oh and to top it off we were given a baked potato with a shit load of butter to tide us over while we were waiting for tacos to be made! You Won't Regret It!!!

We had a quesadilla, 2 asada tacos and a baked potato. It was all very good. They make the tacos to the order. It was soo good. The guacamole was tasty. I asked for the to hold all the produce as I don't care for salsas and other stuff in my tacos. I like to add it after I taste them. The staff was very nice and helpful. The potato was on the house- but we added extra in gratuity. We will be back.

Fire ass tacos and mulitas. Came to tj to pick up my illegal cousin and stopped by to eat some local food. For 30 bucks a family of 10 can eat and ask for seconds. Arrival mexico !!!!

    Kristen M.

If you are in Mexico you must come here! The meat was flavorful, and moist. Something you don't really get in the US when it comes to tacos! The place is always packed so make sure to park down the street and walk over. Oh and leave the coke bottles behind!

What really sets this place apart is the outstanding customer service, the staff is welcoming, attentive, and treats every customer really nicely. It came highly recommended by both locals and fellow food lovers, and after seeing the incredible reviews, we knew we had to experience it for ourselves. We ordered a little bit of everything: tacos de tripa, tacos al pastor, tacos de asada, and an asada quesadilla. Every single item was packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The tripas were perfectly crispy without being greasy, the al pastor was juicy, well-seasoned, and had that classic balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors, and the asada was tender with a delicious char-grilled flavor. The asada quesadilla was generously filled with meat and gooey melted cheese, making it the perfect complement to the tacos. One thing I really appreciated was how convenient the ordering process is. They have a drive-through style setup where you simply pull up and park in front of the restaurant. An employee comes directly to your car to take your order, and once your food is ready, they bring it right out to you. It's such an easy and efficient experience, especially if you're eager to grab amazing food and get back on the road. It's easy to see why this place has earned such a stellar reputation. Between the authentic flavors, generous portions, friendly service, and convenient setup, this was the perfect way to kick off our trip into Mexico. I'll definitely be making this a tradition every time I cross the border.

The food was actually good, wish I could say the same about the service. Ordered tacos and when it came to drinks they only had one kind. The problem was that even tho the restaurant was dead empty they were in a big rush to get us out of there. This was around 2pm today May 21st 2025. It's not like we made this up, my mom and I head the cook tell the waiter that we had finished eating but still had not left. I am never coming back here since TJ is crowded with taco stands that would love me as a customer. I advise you to save yourself the bad experience and rather get it to go or eat somewhere else.

The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.
