First time here. Place was recommended by family. Service was alright. Lady taking order had a hard time hearing our order. Food came out quick. Ordered a few questa and regular tacos with meat choices of Birria, carne asada and abodba. We also had a San Marcos burrito and a chili Relleno burrito plus the Birria ramen to try. Tacos were all delicious and flavorful. The chili relleno burrito was pretty disappointing. Barely got any chili relleno inside and was loaded with lots of beans. Would not recommend. The San Marcos burrito had lots of flavor. The Birria ramen and horchata were only okay for me. The hot sauces weren't bad. Overall, not a bad place for tacos.

Their customer service sucks! The food needs to be as they advertise! Especially for what they charge. Ordered a lot my last visit and fed a family of 5. ordered a quesabirria plate and some other items off the menu tacos fries and tofu something forgot. Prior to getting my food I overheard the couple prior to me complaining about getting all their tacos they ordered separately on the same plate so husband asks for a plate to separate the tacos lady said we ain't got no plates which 1 was my red flag already lol so the blond chick calls another girl to help lady gives them a small little fry bowl and said here he just accepted his loss and separated them since they were eating there in that hot as weather. I got my order and bam told them to excuse me that I was going to check my food prior to leaving bc I wasn't eating there all looks good except the birria plate no type of color so I opened them and no type of sauce just meat and cheese so I ask the girl (blond) what they are and she said tacos told her they are suppose to be quesabirria and then turns back asks the folks with her and she replies that's what they are told her which ones are they tacos or quesabirria she said quesabirria told her they look nothing like their pictures on the truck or menu she says well that's what you ordered told her where is the consume she said you need to ask for it and pay for it that pissed me off so bad like why are you so upset at me answering me so rude and with some sarcastic answers. I was going to ask for a refund but the wait was already long enough (35 min) and the kids were hungry so said f it. Mind you went in the first place bc of the plate of quesabirria lol total fail. Not going back. Think the heat may have gotten to them bc it was like 6 folks in that small ass truck.

On 02/17/2021, my mom and I came here after 3 PM and the line had maybe two people in front of us but by the time we left the crowd started to grow. I asked the lady for a "chicken taco" and then she asked if we wanted cheese on top of it and I said yes.... looked like it turned out to be a quesachicken taco. The chicken was seasoned very well and there's definitely a lot of cheese! Next time I'll say no cheese as I really just wanted a "chicken taco". This one also came with chopped cabbage and cilantro and onions. I also asked the lady for a quesabirria taco- this taco was OK as it is marinated beef and they definitely could have drained more of the juices out of the taco so it wasn't a complete mess when we got home or were eating it. My other complaint is it needed more seasoning. The beef was tender but todays batch could have used an extra kick of seasoning in their marinade. The green salsa is their mild and it was pretty good. No hint of any heat whatsoever in this mild salsa. There is a few tables outside with a tent on top. This place is located near the gas station towards the back. There's several parking right in front of the food truck but also ample parking to the east of the establishment. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and by the time I got home it was still warm. I'm have to come back and try more.

While I prefer white corn tortillas, their shrimp tacos are tasty. Reasonably priced.

Excellent quality, great value. Best burrito I've had in years - it's now part of the regular lunch rotation at work. Highly recommend!!

03/12/2026 -- 1100-1150…read more Ambiance|Atmosphere: 4 1/2 Bar seats and table seats available for both big and small parties. Lighting is fine, music is low, but fine nonetheless. Food: 5 The tonkotsu spicy and shoyu spicy ramens were delicious. Both came with a whole egg cut into two halves and two decent size chashu meat, along with your typical ramen veges. The noodle was cooked well and the portion was good. We also ordered the Hokkaido (baked) sushi roll which was very tasty, but I have to admit all the good looking ones with the best names are on the raw sushi side. Overall very satisfied with the food. Service: 5 The gentleman has great etiquette and service and assistes with recommendations as we were first timers here. He is a large part of the experience being amazing and quiet honestly an example of the standard for quality service. Overall a great experience and we woulddl definitely return. As somewhat of an anime fan I quite enjoyed seeing the names of some of the items on the menu and it really did entice me to order some of the raw sushi... if only I could fit it all in my stomach. Next time it is.

On my first visit I also got a basic tuna roll and it was delicious. Worth the price. I wish I could justify getting one every time I came here. So why are the four stars? This place is just so tiny. I'm a big dude. I actually fit it at the bar just fine. But it stresses me out thinking about having to be cramped into one of their tables. Maybe they'll move to a roomier location someday, but for now I'll deal with it. Food five stars all the way. My go-to ramen spot in the area.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming. We've visited their sister restaurant (Korean Chili) just a few storefronts away and they carry the same level of customer service. On our menu today we ordered the Jalapeño popper appetizer, bento box, and curry noodle. The Jalapeño inside the popper was fresh and luckily not too spicy. The tuna was well seasoned and the panko breading was crisp and not at all oily. They drizzled it with eel sauce and spicy mayo. Great starter! The bento box was a generous portion that included a side salad with sesame dressing. Tempura fried veggies and shrimp, which were perfectly cooked and had a crispy batter. Fried gyoza. Four pieces of California roll. And perfectly cooked chicken with teriyaki sauce on the side. The curry noodle was quite unexpected. The broth was rich with a subtle touch of heat and flavorful use of spices. The eggs were a nice addition of protein. The noodles and chicken were cooked well. Definitely a dish I'd order on a nice cold day. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised. We'd definitely return if visiting Tulare again.

The bar area was very nice since you could observe the cooks and see how they prepare the sushi rolls right in front of you! The service was great too. My only complaint is the miso soups not coming with the bento box as in most cases most restaurants include miso soups when order bento boxes. Unless the miso soup is big then I would understand. Other then that, my experience here was great and I would highly recommend coming here for some good sushi and noodles.

The service I've had, has always been helpful and friendly. The restaurant has always been very clean, although the ambiance is a little lacking compared to the food. The woman that helped us at the counter was really lovely and patient with us while we looked over all the options. She was very polite answering the phone, assisting a doordasher, and assisting the other customers that came in behind us. Two of us went and we both really enjoyed our food. The white rice was perfectly fluffy and the brown was nutty, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of chew. The bulgogi was tender and seasoned so well that I honestly could have eaten an entire bowl of that by itself. The KBBQ was good and a little spicier than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The spicy crab was exactly as expected, mildly spiced and fresh tasting. The person that went with me enjoyed their tempura. All of the toppings were incredibly fresh tasting and I think part of that is because they keep their toppings covered, so they don't dry out like I've experienced at some other poke bowl places. We got hefty servings of seaweed salad and toppings and our bowls were stuffed! Apologies for no photos, I was too excited to dig in, but I will be back! We really need more places like this in Visalia!
