    Chilaquiles with red sauce.
    Frank M.

Whenever I come across a Tacos La Villa. I stop. I always get the chilaquiles. They're so good. Tasty with a little kick from the red sauce they use. Service is always great and the restaurant is always clean and fresh. Love this place.

La neta se pasan, ordered 2 shrimp tacos extra chipotle sauce, got a salad with 4 shrimp and extra sauce. Tortilla buried at the bottom of the smallest container they had. Could not eat the tacos with my hands had to use a fork. 1 star is being generous.

Quesadillas Birria Plate: Birria has so much cheesy and full of flavors. 10/10 Asada: The meat was tender, lol spicy for me but it was really good. 10/10 Shrimp: Oh boyyy soo delicious perfect flavors 10/10 Overall, food is great! Service was decent, friendly and they're busy so I understand why the food came out 15mins. Dining was clean, so much tables and it's nice we can see our cars.

I hottest the carne asada and the shrimp burrito supreme and they both where excellent.

Ordered a Carne Asada and Shrimp burrito supreme. Food was delivered hot and ingredients were spot on. Get sauce on the side.

We ordered breakfast to-go through the drive through. The wait time is pretty long but that's because they are cooking everything from scratch including the tortillas so don't expect quick service. The chile verde on top of the huevos rancheros was fire and it traveled pretty well. The breakfast Torta with carne was also very good, but the potatoes were a little undercooked in my breakfast burrito with chorizo. All-in-all the food was tasty and affordable, and one the better spots in town in my opinion, even though they're fairly new. I will definitely be going back for seconds. :)

I went through the drive thru this morning at @ 10:55 for the first time and ordered a bacon egg burrito with no hot sauce/pico and a plain cheese quesadilla. My total was $27.30! The burrito has both hot sauce and pico de gallo. If you're going to charge such high prices, make sure your food reflects its worth. Although my order was messed up, service was decent. Disappointed, will not return.

The tacos are like only one bite ! My husband was like how am I gonna get full with little baby tacos and they are expensive that's crazy too me . $15.00 for 5 tacos not worth it .

Ordered an asada burrito falling apart. Terrible tortilla. They need a new vendor. Also the meat was not good. Had so much fat in the meat I couldn't even chew it all. Won't be coming back. Sloppy.

Tasty collection of Mexican fusion dishes for an affordable cost. Notably they have $1.50 tacos on Tuesdays. The drive thru experience takes a while because they always have a line but the food comes out hot. Besides the standard tacos and burritos, there were hot Cheetos, birria and cheese renditions. Habanero sauce, avocado sauce, salsa roja or verde were given upon request. While the service normally is friendly, something is usually wrong with my order. *Lengua: tender tongue and each taco contains a good amount. On the blander side but the supplemental sauce helps with flavor. Great texture. I made this into a queso taco and the cheese added subtle saltiness. However I would have wanted a better cheese crust as it had a monotonous soft mouth feel. *Cabeza: received it accidentally but it was surprisingly good. Had a melt in the mouth quality. I enjoyed the juicy, meaty flavor. *Al Pastor: the meat was a bit tough and there was subtle heat from the marinade. The fattier pieces had better flavor but it wasn't the most memorable. *Combo: came with a small side of Mexican rice and beans. Both were seasoned well. The rice was on the drier side but it was nicely salty. The beans were also salty and chunky. *Birria: came with a cup of consume. The meat was juicy and melty. This was my favorite item as it was flavorful and meaty. The consume had strong lime flavor and I loved the acidity. *Horchata: very milky and sweet with nice cinnamon flavor. Every time I ordered this, it was strong and not diluted. The basics were the best, especially their birria. I wouldn't pay extra for the cheese versions or upgrades as they took away from the natural flavors. Besides the occasional mistake, this has to be one of the top Mexican options in Visalia.

I went early today and enjoyed a Birtia taco that came with its dipping sauce and two carne asada tacos and I have to say it did not disappoint. The tacos were jam packed with meat, so much so I got full on two. Want a devious, ready quick, low cost lunch this is the place.

The food was so delicious, we loved everything except the pico de gallo (salsa for the chips a salsa). The service was pretty quick, staff is very new but doing a great job! The ambiance was fast food but no music. We will be back for sure because food is fire.

    Do they use ground beef?

Hi Lorrie! I checked out the menu and it doesn't show ground beef. Usually they'll have it or even under the word "Molida", but it looks like they have everything but. I would highly recommend the Asada and Al Pastor mixed together in a burrito.…

For 1 burrito and 1 taco with tip, came out to around $33. Don't do delivery from here. The Burrito was not very good. The meat was almost like ground beef in texture but also non existent at the same time. I tasted more beans than rice but even then, it was more of a soupy burrito with a tortilla that you had to rip at and hope each bite wouldn't undo the whole burrito. There was some kind of salsa inside it that wasn't apart of the description. It gave it an off flavor. Al Pastor taco was meh. The corn tortillas tasted homemade, which was nice. But the meat was stringy, kind of fatty and an off color almost a light orange. It tasted better than the asada but still wasn't very good. I do appreciate they followed my request for extra salsa, but these packs look like they come from a frozen dinner you get at the store. Absolutely off putting. The flavor was "ok" but nothing special. Overall, not worth it. $33 and I was left with an upset stomach. I had such high hopes! I haven't been in a long time and was hoping it would have been an amazing experience. I was wrong. I gave 3 stars cause I do appreciate them following the special instructions most other restaurants don't. But that still can't justify the food.

We were sat down with menus, given chips, salsa, and water, and told to place our menus at the edge of the table when ready. The server came by several times while we were still deciding, and when we finally told her we planned to split a burrito, she gave us an odd look and commented that it "might be a reasonable size to share." Shortly after, she returned to inform us that we had been given the wrong menus and that every item was actually $2.99 more than what we had been reviewing--something completely unprofessional and misleading. To make matters worse, when I asked about happy hour, she flat-out said they didn't have one, yet I later found multiple reviews online mentioning happy hour specials. That means she either didn't know or wasn't being honest. Between the dismissive service, the sudden price change, and the lack of transparency, we decided to walk out. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant.

But in the past several…read moreyears, it's completely gone downhill both in customer service, quality of the food, & its pricing. The portions have gotten noticeably smaller, however the prices continue to rise. What you are served is definitely not worth what Azul's charges you. This place used to be a regular go-to spot for myself when I am in Visalia, which is quite often. My sister & her husband were weekly regulars there & were (allegedly) friends with the owner. The last several times I've been there for a meal with my sister & BIL the owner has come over to say hello, but she has not seemed genuine or at all happy to see my sister & BIL. Instead, her "hellos" & the quick small talk that is expected of an owner greeting their regulars seemed incredibly forced & just completely inorganic. It was like she did not want us there, found it annoying that we were there, & did not appreciate our business at all. That made me feel very uncomfortable. The last time my family was there, it was my sister, mother, & their friend (a Visalia local) that were dining in. My mother picked up the check & paid by debit card & rounded up the just under $70 bill to $90 for the tip. When she looked at her bank statement a few days later, she discovered that the server had charged $100. My mom called my sister, who told her to call the owner & let her know what happened to make it right. They were trying to give the benefit of the doubt, but at the same time knew the chances of an experienced server mistaking a 2-digit total for a 3-digit total is highly unlikely. When my mother called the restaurant to speak to the owner, she kept my mother waiting on hold for the longest time. After the owner finally did come to the phone, she was very rude to my mom: didn't say hello or ask how she was. The owner completely dismissed the occurrence, saying that the server who ran the card was one of her best girls & longest employees & that there was no way that could have happened. The way she spoke to my mother, it was like she was trying to make my mother feel like it was her fault, & was making an issue out of nothing. My mom assured her that she had copies of the receipt with the correct total, to which the owner rudely said something like "okay, so what now? You want the $10 back?" completely dismissively. My mother tried to be polite--as this was a "friend" of my sister's & my sister & BIL were still at that point regulars--so she said the next time they came in to dine, they could discount that tab by $10. Obviously, that never happened. When my BIL found that out, he & my sister both decided they would no longer give their business to such a place. None of us have been back since. I do not recommend eating here. You will get mediocre food at an expensive price tag. Plus you will run the risk of dishonest servers over tipping themselves under the protection of an owner who clearly does not care & puts her customers down. If this was the experience of regular customers, I can only imagine how the non-regulars are treated...

There was no odor this time and it is an older establishment that actually was a house at one time. If you sit in the back area you can still see the crown moldings of the living area. We ordered the Marlin Empanadas- there is 4 to an order ($12). I wish I cut one so that you can see in the picture that it definitely is Marlin. Marlin is red flesh and I've fished in Cabo San Lucas and caught marlin and it's not the best flavored fish as it is dense and very oily. This definitely tasted like I remembered the last time I caught a marlin! Still this was good as I don't see marlin on the menu much so I usually order shrimp empanadas.
