Visiting Florida where there are many more mexican/ hispanic offerings. Saw mostly good reviews for this food truck only 8 miles away. Happy to be away from Michigan where the base of most mexican restaurants is ground beef. Well so i usually go with shredded pork or shredded beef. I ordered two tacos with shredded beef and a shredded beef burrito. $14 on 9/8/2022. The positive both were tasty. The tacos because of the very fresh cilantro. The burrito, the rice and beans were tasty. Too quote a old Wendys tagline. " Wheres the Beef?" On the tacos the cilantro leaves hid the beef. To put in perspective the meat might of been a dime size portion stretched across the tortilla. On the burrito i swear they must of dusted the rice and beans with a sprinkle of beef. Im sorry for $14 i expect more than maybe 50¢ worth of beef. Was also disappointed they no longer have the tamales that I was in a mood for. Three stars for the taste. This is a food truck located in a parking lot behind the 7 Eleven on Pine Island Rd at the intersection of Del Prado Blvd. They offer several meat options which can be ordered in tacos, quesadillas, or tortas. The quesadillas are essentially tacos with cheese, but they are not pressed like a traditional quesadilla. We ordered a variety of steak, chicken, and shredded beef quesadillas. The steak was both of our favorite, by far, with shredded beef coming in second place. The quesadillas were served with 2 salsa options- a medium tomatillo salsa and a hot tomato based salsa, and was topped with grilled onions and lime. I typically prefer more toppings on my tacos/ quesadillas, and actually added my own tomato at home. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this small food truck in Cape Coral. To be totally honest, I really didn't want to like Tacos San Miguel. My husband has eaten here a few times without me, and has been trying to convince me to eat here with him for a solid 3-4 years. We have enjoyed Tacos San Miguel Taco truck, finally made it the restaurant. We experienced complete disappointment at the brick and mortar. We were first greeted by a stench in the air the restaurant smelled bad on a high level. We ordered tacos and Torta. Tacos meat was dry tasteless and just not very good both the chicken and Steak. Torta was down right terrible, just taco filling in a soft un toasted bun. Tortas should have avocado, refried beans, tomato needless to say none of this was present. All in all our experience was terrible and we walked in the most positive customer as possible. Would rename this place "Torta Terrible". 2 stars only because the staff was nice and we hate to slam the too hard if this was an off day. read more

Simply, the best authentic taco you can get in the area. It can take a bit long to get your food, be patient well worth it. Everything is good, my favorites are the lengua (tongue) and pork, but you cant go wrong with any of the choices. Also It's a "Food Trailer" Not a Tex-Mex restaurant, No they don't have tables & chairs, air-conditioning, Margaritas, guacamole and chips, or rice and beans.
