This place has been open since 2016 and we tried it for lunch today for the first time! First impression when we walked inside? Loved the Authentic Mexican vibe! The most important thing i can say in this review is "why did we wait so long?" Truthfully we are creatures of habit. For 30 years we have gone to Iguana Mia for Mexican type food. Sadly our last few times have been less than enjoyable, so we spun the wheel (after all there really are a lot of Mexican restaurants in Cape Coral) and landed on Mexico Lindo! We ordered the lunch Fajitas and they were great! I loved that guac and sour cream was included too. The only thing we would do differently is ask for the chicken to be blackened. But we wanted to try them their way before we made changes. So yes, we will definitely be back again. So happy to try something new to us and that it didn't disappoint. read more

This was such a good find! I was in town visiting with my mom and grandma just looking for somewhere to eat and we had driven past this place a few times as it's near where we were staying so we decided to stop and we are so glad that we did! The service was phenomenal from the moment that we walked through the doors. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were so large we had leftovers to take home too. We come here a lot for the food - I always get a Taco Salad with ground beef, no rice (diabetic - try to minimize carbs) Tonight, my taco salad was good on top layer - lettuce, sour cream. When I dug lower I realized only the top of the taco shell was done, the rest was not cooked through. Could not eat. Then, realized there was a 1/4" of water on bottom of plate. When I pointed this out to our waiter and he took it back to the kitchen, he brought whole plate back and said lettuce was to blame (had not dried it out throughly) and nothing he could do for us. He did not stand up for his customer! We were still charged for the taco salad! Worst experience there ever and used to go all the time! read more

We came here once in hopes of finding a decent Mexican place in the area. They were out of the first meal I tried to order (taco dish) so I got another one. Food was a bit bland and nothing to write home about. What really bothered me about this place was we specifically came here over another place down the street because this place advertised specials on their website. On this day it was ladies night, half off margaritas for ladies (see screenshot from their website). We asked our server about this and she told us it was house margaritas only... no problem. After ordering food and 2 house margaritas, the bill came with no discount. We asked our server why the discount wasn't applied after what she told us, and she went and got another server who told us they don't offer any specials. We showered her the website with confusion, she didn't care or do anything about it. This is still posted on their website (???) We found the whole ordeal super weird and uncomfortable, and bluntly the food, drinks and service were not good enough to return regardless of the sketchy experience. read more

This restaurant used to be excellent. It seems lately they just throw some dish together - quantity over quality. I ordered a veggie burrito...spinach, peppers, onions, squash, corn and some other items. When it arrived, it was literally full of corn niblets, as if the cook opened a can of Libby's corn niblets and dumped it in. There was hardly anything else. This is authentic Mexican for those inquiring minds..... atmosphere of a fun and festive. We had the chicken enchiladas suiza and the chicken enchilada mole dinners. They were delicious. The chicken is fresh and moist and full of flavor. The sauces were flavorful. The chips and salsa were also quite satisfying. Husband had the margarita which he said was good. It was a busy Saturday evening in there so we were not checked on as a server should do, but I am willing to overlook that as we did not need anything during our meals and everything was delicious as I stated. 3 things about this place: 1. Friendly staff and great environment for Mexican food. Tortilla chip was warm and the salsa was cold which I enjoyed. 2. Table side guacamole, Queso, Del Mar taco salad (octopus + shrimp), steak quesadilla, and Burro Mexicano were ordered. After couple of bites, I can already tell use the best and fresh ingredients they have. Every ingredient was extremely fresh and couldn't have asked for better ingredients. 3. The steak quesadilla was extremely hot and cheesy and cooked to perfection. Octopus can get extremely chewy if they're not cooked right but this one was well cooked. Came here on a Monday night and we had a great experience. Really quick service, attentive staff, and good Mexican food. Their horchatas are not bad, perhaps a bit watery but I've definitely had worse and I'd order this again. Word of warning, it's HUGE. But you can get a to go cup when you're done which is nice. Their margaritas are strong but pretty sweet/syrupy. Their taquitos are fairly large and stuffed with plenty of chicken. Good fry on them, the lettuce it comes with is unnecessary though and makes for a bit of a sad presentation. We also ordered their Enchiladas Suizas which we're STUFFED with chicken. I think if there was more sauce mixed in and on top along with more cheese then it probably would have been better. Otherwise, the chicken texture is a bit much with how much is in there. The rice and beans were pretty standard so no complaints there. The chips and salsa weren't bad but the salsa was a bit heavy on cilantro. All in all, it's not bad for Mexican food in Cape Coral. Probably the best horchata you'll find in town, and the food was plenty tasty with minor complaints. Restaurant decoration was fun and clean. I'd come back in the future! read more

México Lindo has come a long way. Forget about Monarcas, forget about El Tarascó. Mexico Lindo has it all, good CLEAN atmosphere, amazing fresh food at a very reasonable price compared to other places, unbelievable and very attentive service. The server was excellent. You could see all of the staff in constant motion. First we had a margarita. It had so much alcohol, to t was like drinking a shot of tequila. So that had to go back. We wanted a nice drink, but if you're looking to get slammed, this is your drink. No big deal. Then we had typical chips and salsa. The salsa is as excellent. We also had a side of queso. That was very good as well. The food was typical, boring, and dry. Dry tacos is apparently a thing at Cape Mexican restaurants. Then the entrees came out. Three tacos with rice and beans. The rice and beans were standard. I had a brisket taco. It was more like a quesadilla. It was good, but the cheese overpowered the brisket. The other tacos were dry as all get out. We had a carne and a carnitas taco. They need to have a balance of natural juices in the taco without making the taco wet and fall apart. These were so dry, they lost flavor. Luckily the queso made them tolerable. The wife had the mahi tacos. These tasted just a bit fishy which tells us the fish was not fresh. Mahi should have a light flavorful taste.
