Still awesome. 4 tacos, rice and beans still under $20 with tax and tip. I don't even bother with anything besides the Chicharron tacos anymore. I didn't really need 4, 3 would have been perfect for dinner. The crispy, chewy pork with the salsas are just perfect bites.

Fast service, wonderful workers. The ambiance was lively and authentic in a way that really just sells the experience. The food, though. Wow. I got it to go but was really hungry so I sat down and inhaled the tacos... for 2$ they are genuinely unbeatable. Ive never had such yummy tacos. I got a pork chalupa and ate that in the car soon after I left and it was 4$, fried, and delicious. You absolutely have to try this place if you want real Mexican food. I should have gone sooner.

We got here just before the lunch rush and it was so good! Staff were very friendly and let us take our time to order. Food took about 20 minutes to get to us but it was worth it! Very decently priced. Recommend getting there before lunch & dinner rushes so you can grab a seat inside or out on their heated patio. Will definitely be back

Service, great. Ambiance, cute. Food, wow! I wanted to try it all but I had to be realistic . I was told about this place from my co-worker. We live in Seattle and I've tried different places in Renton, Kent and Burien and I have to say the selection/flavors of the meat isn't easy to find all at one spot. They had quite a bit to offer. My friend did the quesabirria tacos that had 2 plus the consome and I chose 3 tacos (chicharron, cabeza and lengua). I couldn't pick a favorite because they all were amazing. They need to open one of these closer to Seattle like Lynnwood or Shoreline. This place will always be a rest stop for me anytime I'm driving up north!

I stopped by here when I was passing by with my husband. We were a little hungry and wanted to eat lightly. The parking lot is located on the premises of the store, so there are many people coming and going. I ordered two each of the recommended pork taco and beef taco in the store. Quick service and easy menu here. You can get water in self-service area. The interior of the store is casual and lively. And the Tacos we ordered was delicious, especially the pork and so reasonable prices here. Highly recommend here.

10/10 stars! My goodness, talk about authentic Mexican food. This hit so many of my spots I came back here a total of three times in under 24 hours while I was in the area. I tried their chicken torta, adobada sope, chicken and adobada tacos, and agua de Jamaica. ALL OF IT was heaven. And the prices are the cheapest I've seen anywhere. They are extremely fast, and they have perfect salsa verde you can add to your food. 10/10 this is amazing!

I always have to stop here on my way to Anacortes because I love their tacos! The best street taco I've had in Washington. I always get their asada tacos and they never let me down. The tacos are consistently amazing and packed with flavor. I love both of the sauces they provide too. They can get busy so if you're in a rush, I recommend to place an order ahead. You can order at a window or go inside the restaurant. They have some candy and snacks sold inside the restaurant as well. They have a decent amount of indoor seating as well as a covered area. If you're passing through Burlington, stop here!

Crazy good meat options for your tacos. Hubby said the stand outs were the birria de res because it is super flavorful and moist. He liked the shrimp too. The only recommendation he made is to have the tortilla a little more browned. I loved my adobada (marinated pork) because it was grilled more and gave it a nice crispiness and char but it does mean it becomes chewier and drier. I used the lime and green sauce to make up for it and was very pleased. I enjoyed the carnitas and chicken too. Normally I drown my tacos with sauce but with these tacos you don't need to. Simple but good service. We were met at the register by a friendly smile and greeting. Followed by quick food delivery by a friendly male server. Even the patrons were nice, friendly and courteous. Another patron got up to leave and it was quite cute, he helped his girlfriend/wife? Put her coat on. Next he gave a head nod to another male guest. As he walked out he spoke loudly thanking the staff for the good food. Another family walked in and I got a smile from the female mom sitting down at her table. Her husband asked if he could borrow the sauces from a different table. All in all, a nice environment to be eating in.

It has been two years since I was here last, but it's much busier than it was then especially when school is open. The tacos were great. The torta I had was one of the better ones I've had. The pricing is very reasonable. Ambiance can be noisy when the HS students are having lunch. So come after 1:30. Will be back

We recently stayed overnight in Burlington on a road trip. We rolled into town kind of late in the evening and were excited to find Tacos Tecalitlan still open. We placed a carryout order at the window for 7 people and unfortunately after 2 attempts at correction, the food in the bags were still missing entrees. The first time we noticed this, we went back and brought it to the attention of the person working the counter. They made what we thought were the missing items but we did not figure out that there were still missing burritos until we got back to the hotel. Now, this is completely on us for not checking the second time. And, the food was decent and what you'd expect from a place serving Mexican food. However, my primary caution would be to carefully check your carryout order before leaving. read more

This little food truck has one really great thing going for it... It is close to me! To be forthcoming, it also has an excellent torta too! I get the carne Asada torta which comes with shredded cabbage, a slice of tomato on each half and a sliver of avocado. While the lack of avocado and tomato in ever bite is a bit disappointing, the overall sandwich is great! Well, good, but add some of their red or green salsas to it and it goes from good to really good. I thought the cabbage would throw it off because I am used to lettuce on carne Asada tortas. This isn't the case. I now say cabbage is the way to go for the tortas! Sometimes it comes down to the little things and this is one of those times. I know I should be posting a photo but I was hungry and one bite into this thing and there was no turning back! I'll update because I plan to go again!! read more

I got the beef tacos and they were great with the fresh onion and cilantro, there are lots of other meat options as well and the rice was fantastic. The tortillas were especially tasty, although pretty small so order one more than you normally would to fill up. The service was good, food came out fast and was hot. The outdoor patio was very cute and had lots of flowers and umbrellas for shade. Overall a great little spot and a very good deal for the price read more

This is a must if you love tacos, street style! Nephew took us here while we were on vacation. Tried the tripe, tongue, cheek meat, chicharron, adobada, and carne asada. All were outstanding served with a little onion and cilantro. Red or green sauce is on the tables. Lots of people are discovering food trucks and the great food they care serving. Wish we'd had more time so I could have tried the tortas, tamales, burritos, etc. You need to eat here. Get up, go, enjoy! read more

I have always liked their food. It's always been solid. I like that they have an expanded menu and an actual restaurant. It does get busy so I love the fact that you can order online and the webpage is user friendly. You can pay online and just pick up at the walk up window. I recommend the tostadas don't have pictures because if I don't eat them quickly, someone takes them from my plate. The restaurant is a bit smaller, has a good outside seating area and has always been clean. read more

Their taco selection is limited and they are not "street" tacos with small, double tortillas. All of them are full sized. The best thing to do is eat there, if you can. Plenty of outdoor seating but it's more suited to a dry summer day instead of the middle of winter(duh). Don't be afraid to branch out and try some of their other items like Carne Asada fries and elote in a cup. Their fruit refreshments are delicious!

Great flavor, well-prepared, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. My partner went with the super burrito and said it was fresh, well-seasoned, and really satisfying. They also served chips and salsa--the salsa had a great kick without being overwhelming, which my partner appreciated. Service was excellent from start to finish. Ordering was smooth, food came out quickly, and everything was cleaned up efficiently. On top of that, the place was very clean, which always stands out. Total came to about $38 for both of us, which felt like a solid value for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend--I'll definitely be back.

They're located close to the Burlington airport; look for the wooden chair with a "beer here" sign. We dropped in on a Friday afternoon (around 1:30pm). They've got a cute patio outside along with two communal style tables and bar seats inside. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Go up to the bar to order your drinks. The beers consisted of 9 Garden Path flavours, two meads and several guest beers/ciders/wines. They don't do flights, which is disappointing and none of their fruit flavoured beers were available to sample. They have a MASSIVE variety of rare, unique beers along with some interesting cider and wines. Beer bottles from Jester King, Atwood Ales, The Ale Apothecary and Crooked Stave, to name a few. From Canada, they even had two bottles from Dieu du Ciel. Majority are from the States but they had some beers from Australia, Estonia and Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France and Italy). They also have a couple board games and funny enough, they had these mystery/surprise beer bags for sale. Not sure how much they were though. - The easygoing drink ($3.00 US for 5oz) - lightly tart ale fermented in a foudre and finished in stainless steel. This was our favourite from the three we sampled. - Amber dreams of electric sheep ($3.00 US for 5oz) - foudre-fermented, oak matured, malt-accented and native yeast amber ale. Definitely was malty. - The prime barrel age ($3.50 US for 5oz) - blend of mature barrel-aged beers. This one didn't leave much of an impression on either one of us. Garden Path's beers are different, catering more to funky than sour. If you're a beer geek, this should be a must visit. 3.5 stars.

I have had Water Tank Bakery in Burlington bookmarked for awhile and admit being late to the party, so to speak. But this time coming back south from Edison, Bow, Bellingham and Sedro Wooley, I made it a point to visit on 3/28/26. It is located by the Port of Skagit County, with the regional airport, other commercial businesses, and serendipitously next door to Cairnspring Mills. Look for the Fresh Bread signage starting at Higgins Airport Way that shortly leads you to the retail window. The daily offerings are listed on the business website, as well as, the magnet board located below the retail window. After a brief wait, it was my turn and enjoyed my brief conversation with the founder, owner, and head artisan baker, Rachael Grace Sobczak. She mentioned that majority of the baked goods are from a sourdough bread starter and uses local flours from Cairnspring Mills (next door) and Chimacum Valley Grainery (Olympic Peninsula). From the website, it was great to learn that she baked for a decade at Breadfarm in Edison. She was also involved in her graduate studies as a dietician and concurrently with other community projects. A pandemic pivot started the journey to create the successful Water Tank Bakery. I purchased a four pack of roasted garlic parmesan rolls, a four pack of coffee toffee chocolate sandwich cookies, and two lemon raspberry cream cheese polish buns. All of these were outstanding! Water Tank Bakery baked goods are also available via other retailers (listed on website) and at the year round University District Farmers Market in Seattle on Saturdays 9am to 2pm. I was told, however, there's better availability and variety visiting the retail window in Burlington. Worthy detour!
