The tacos looked good, I can tell the tortillas were hand made . But something was lacking. I kept adding lime, salt to my tacos and extra salsa and I just couldn't get it to taste. They were bland. Food here is so good! I came here a few days in a row with my dad while he stayed with me for a visit and we tried new things everyday. We had the red chicken enchiladas, lengua tacos, quesadillas, burritos, chicken tacos, vampiros and their juice made fresh daily! The service is so friendly too! Just talking to the owner hearing her speak about her business showed me how passionate she is about cooking and serving quality food. They have a large menu with a variety of traditional Mexican deliciousness and Mexican aguas frescas. I always get the veggie burritos. As a local resident here in Castaic we Leo to support our small towns businesses. I'm actually ashamed it took us the two years they have been in business to finally go here. When we went in it wasn't too busy and it was very clean. We had a couple of questions about the menu and everything was explained perfectly. I'll tell you this, I was sold as soon as I saw the fresh corn tortillas being pressed right there. Everything was made fresh to order which took just a little long but I would prefer it made just the way Tacos Tijuana made our food. I had the Asada Burrito and it was packed with steak and my daughter got the Birria Tacos and she loved them, my wife got 3 tacos chicken and asada and the same result, Loved them. I wanted so bad to give this place a five star review because the tacos were good, but a bit overpriced if you are getting guacamole on them. First off when I looked up reviews on google it stated clean, great costumer service. So we arrived and noticed the B on the window. No big deal in hopes that the food, service, and cleanliness will probably make up for it. Wrong, there was no one at the counter when we arrived, and no cooks until someone finally came and greeted us. At this point still not bothered, "hey it wasn't a busy day staff was probably on break or cleaning." Who knows? Well,,, we all had to use the restroom and they weren't stocked with any toilet paper, toilet cover and sinks were dirty. Women's restroom toilet was disgusting so we all used the men's restroom. After this point we finally sat and noticed so many tables were not wiped down floor was dirty. Receipts on the floor and other trash. We finally get our food the lady was nice and she kept checking on us. So the service and food was great but there's no exception why this place was so unsanitary regardless if you are busy or not. Please make note of this, I really hope that the staff and owner take a little more responsibility in the cleanliness. read more

I ordered a breakfast burrito and horchata this morning that cost me $24!! I gladly paid as I was hoping to get my $$$'s worth. Got home and pulled the burrito out of the bag and was disappointed that the burrito was basically average size. (For a $16 burrito I was hoping for more.) Ok fine, inflation... I get it. Then I opened the burrito to add salsa and noticed there was no bacon (which was on the order and receipt). Drove back to Tacos Tijuana showed the lady working there (who really couldn't care less) and showed me the 3-4 tiny little cut up pieces of bacon. I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture but the lady grabbed it and threw it away before I could. Bottom line is the place is WAAaay overpriced for what you get. Their pastor had a crisp and was filled with flavor. Their cream guacamole sauce complimented the sweet and salty al pastor. How are these true Tijuana tacos? Handmade flour tortillas. Trust me when I say this... out of the world. The bread of the torta was soft and had a nice outside layer of crunch. I ordered it with everything so this included all your typical torta ingredients. The carne asada was super lean and tender. Amazing flavors. I washed my order down with their homemade horchata. Customer service is 10/10. I placed an online order but showed up a little early. I was greeted immediately and they really attempted to get to know me. He even offered to store my guac separately if I was driving far so it wouldn't get soggy. I ordered asada tacos, pastor tacos and asada burrito. I could see in the kitchen they were pressing fresh tortillas.. and you could taste it! My husband and I agreed this may be our new spot. Flavors were on point, green salsa was great and the orange was a touch too spicy for me but still good. We are stoked to live close and to try more things on the menu. They have a family atmosphere.
