This is my favorite food truck in Castaic. It is family owned and operated and we love supporting local businesses. The service is always super friendly and make me feel like I am one of the family as well. I have been going here for years and it never disappoints. This time I got tostadas, Carne Asada tacos, El Pastor tacos, and Barbacoa tacos. They were so delicious! The family also owns the restaurant. The food truck is parked in front of so you're welcome to sit in their outdoor seating area and enjoy your tacos there. The ambience is friendly local spot. Best taco truck I've probably had. I got their tostadas- you can get up to 4 but I got one of asada, chorizo, and lastly carnitas. I loved the chorizo one it wasn't dried out at all, and they even gave me the other tostada with just beans. My boyfriend got tacos of tripa, chorizo, and asada- very good as well just the red salsa a bit spicy. We payed after eating and they had a nice little seating area in the shade- better than the other places on the same street that are in the sun. They cooked up our order pretty fast despite the amount of different meat we ordered lol. Great guys! Will be coming back. read more

There's not many places you'll be able to order tacos at 8:50am on a Monday. But when we saw this food truck on the side of the road already open, we knew how we had to begin our road trip. They give a tostada with frijoles spread on it for every meal and I could eat just these. The tacos were amazing, double tortilla with great meat that was tender and flavorful. This is a must stop taco truck if you are just passing by on your way to or from Los Angeles. The food is amazing and the guys are super friendly and great attention to detail. They have a nice dining area which is very uncommon for taco trucks but makes a huge difference when eating outdoors. I spoke to the gentleman and told him the hours on Yelp showed them being closed and he said they never close and open from 6am to 2 am 7 days a week. read more

As anyone who's been following my check ins, " you know I am repetitive Seoul". Tacos Valles deliverers when it comes to any of the menu items. From the mini ceviche tostadas to the burritos. All of their meats I've tried so far have not disappointed me. Tripas- the flavor and texture semi crunchy semi chewy and burst of all that intestine flavor. Asada- not fatty and again flavor Al pastor and the carnitas sooooo good. Next time will try the chicken and other proteins. I can probably eat 2 plates of the mini ceviche. Each bite is so refreshing and the mini plates comes with 3 pieces. Loaded of toppings. Even the tacos they're not shy on the portions SCV area is wild when it comes to Mexican food prices but VALLE won't break the bank and it's worth it. They do have number on Yelp to call. If you're headed up north, and you're going over the grapevine, stop in Castaic and find this taco truck. They only take cash, but the food is absolutely amazing. I like the cabeza (beef cheeks) and lengua (tongue) tacos, the meat, when cooked properly, is nothing short of amazing. And here, it's amazing. A solid 10. Every time I truck drive through here I would stop and eat at this place but after todays interaction I will not be returning. I order a burrito and ask for it to be cut in half and she doesn't understand me and I try to explain it to her and she gets a bad attitude after? My boyfriend and I are splitting it? Other places always cut it in half and don't have a problem with it. I finally get my food and ask for extra salsa and lime. She said she put extra and I look and it's only three limes and three salsa. We like to eat our food with a lot of salsa and lime. So I ask again and with attitude she says I put a extra and I was like okay I want more? Even if she said I would have to pay I would have but instead she wanted to be rude about never returning again. I use to eat at another taco truck on the same street but after many disappointing trips i decided to start ordering tacos from here! AND boy let me tell you... THE SALSA ALONE IS WORTH ORDERING TACOS FROM THEM!!! we've tried the carne asada, al pastor, barbacoa, chicken and for the adventures haha the tripas too which i love bc they make them nice and crispy! YUM!!! my hubby ordered their carne asada burrito and he said it was one of the best burritos he's had... we go to a lot of taco/burrito places in LA and down to TJ. i live that you can call in your order bc they stay hella busy too and you can wait up to 20 minutes when it gets crowded. so make sure you're not showing up hangry LOL! they take CASH & CREDIT CARDS they do charge a small fee read more

Came out to try their breakfast burrito and I'm so glad I did! Finally something nearby that's so yummy! I definitely look forward to trying their tacos too! I used to have to drive to sylmar to get good ones. Also the service is very friendly! He cooked the food perfectly! The eggs were just right and the salsa was the perfect spice you look for a breakfast burrito. I'll be coming back! Glad to be moving here in Castaic! read more

I hate to give this truck 5 stars because I don't want them to get any busier but they've earned it. I had to stop for gas about 8 months ago when I was relocating from NorCal to SoCal. I saw a few people around this truck and decided to get a few tacos. The pastor is the best I've had anywhere. The barbacoa as well. The chicken and asada weren't out of the park but good. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff and amazing food. I make a stop here every time I travel by the truck. IMO it's the best truck in Castaic and the best truck I've ever had (I'm in construction and eat off many taco trucks). I call ahead now when I'm 15 mins out and it's perfect! read more

Food is decent but I go there cuz their salsa is spicy. But last time I went they charged me $9 for a burrito! It's a taco truck for Christ's sake, not a sit down place. Not sure if it's cuz I asked for 3 salsas with my burrito but $9 is too much for a burrito when there are brick and mortar stores that only charge $7 and their food is just as good. Best tacos not just in Castaic, but all of Santa Clarita! This food truck dishes out some authentic mexican food that rival some of the best taco trucks in the SFV! They have more meat choices than your average taco truck and they have tables in front with shade. Good environment and great food! read more

Always very good and reasonably priced not to mention after going there for a few years now I've yet to get a bad attitude or wrong order. Their Mulitas are legit. I'd rather them a little bigger but the flavor is great. I like to have the tripas as there's not too many places to find it now a days. The bonus frijoles(beans) tostada is a really nice touch!. The total came to $28, and the food was nowhere near worth the price. The tacos and burritos were extremely bland and lacked flavor. The salsa tasted like it was expired and had no freshness to it. The tripas looked old, had way too much fat, and tasted like they had been sitting around for a while. Overall, the meat quality seemed very low. It got to the point where we threw the food away because it just wasn't worth eating--not even worth the calories. It was a complete waste of money, and I definitely won't be coming back. Think twice before spending your money here.
