Asada Taco- with like no meat on it
    Liliana C.

I don't understand how this place gets good reviews. I thought I'd try it out since previous reviews have been good well it was one of the worst tacos I've ever had. Yes the tortillas are handmade... cool but the flavor of the dough was terrible. The amount of meat they put on the tacos is a joke. The "guacamole" that's on the taco is literally mashed avocado with no flavor. The service was terrible they don't even have an actual menu just a laminated piece of paper that has meat choices on it. They have cameras installed everywhere and a huge built in speaker blasting music which is why the person taking your order can't hear your order right. Definitely overhyped & overpriced. Terrible quality, service, and food won't be returning.

Estos si son tacos no chingaderas !!! Estilo Tiajuana nunca falla ! Muy deliciosos ! Very spicy red sauce and tortillas hand made

Salsa was too chunky. Can't pour on a taco.

Horrible experience and will not be back. Ordered $35 worth of food and it was all bad because the guacamole was super oxidized and not consumable. Tacos look like they are days old but just made. I could understand a little but this was beyond excessive. I guess the girls inside the truck don't have enough light to notice something so big. We were the only guests and it took them forever to prepare too. We asked for it to go because they had no seats to eat. I called them up and asked for a refund and I have yet to hear back from them. The lost a customer today.

    Simple menu, homemade quality goodness!

The consomé was delicious! After finishing my birria ramen I even saved some consomé to have with my al pastor torta! Clean truck with great service and a red sauce that will kick your senses into gear!

This tacos truck is closed to my house and crowded most of the time, especially around 6-8pm. The tacos truck parked on Enterprise street and Westminster street. It is a quiet and spacious corner. The corner is fun with the music from the truck. I like their tacos in general and also their sodas in glass bottle. They have 2 small tables for customers and the radish/napkin station is clean and organized. A little bit pricey compared to the other tacos but you get what you paid for. Highlights of the menu: 1. Lengua tongue 2. Tripa intestine 3. Chorizo 4. Pork belly 5. Pork head

Ordered 2 pastor and 1 chicken to try them out. Chicken is very bland, no flavor whatsoever. Sorry Pastor was not my favorite either. Was very whitewashed for my liking. Will not have it again. Green salsa was very watery. Only thing I liked was the tortillas.

My boyfriends sister and her fiancé recommended this place to us, so we decided to come here for dinner. One of the first things we noticed was that someone was making fresh tortillas on the spot, which I have never seen before. I couldn't wait to try! Also all the orders came with guacamole on top, which was something else I've never seen at a taco truck! It wasn't watery guac either, the consistency was perfect. I ordered a carne asada quesadilla, and three carne asada tacos. My boyfriend ordered 2 carne asada tacos, 2 lengua tacos, and 2 pastor tacos. We took the food home with us, and it looked amazing! For the price we paid, there wasn't as much meat as I have had from other taco places. However, the taste was great! I tried some of my boyfriends pastor tacos and they were crispy and delicious! Will definitely be coming back!

My first time trying out this place. It smelled so good as we approached the food truck, so I was super excited....but soon it became disappointment. The staff was nice and food was prepared in a very clean manner. The orange sauce was pretty spicy, but both sauce were bland. I ordered the Buche, tripas, asada, chorizo, and adobada tacos. The asada was probably most flavorful, but the rest was very tasteless. I loved that the tortas were handmade but it was too soft. The Buche was way too chewy like it's been cooked over and over. Tripas was quite crunchy. All in all, tacos were not worth it.

Great little taco truck off Main in Garden Grove! They serve the usual meats like asada and pollo, but my faves were actually the chorizo and beef tongue. All were very flavorful and well dressed with salsa or guac. You can order extra guac on the side, but I thought the guac provided was more than enough. Plenty of street parking and almost no wait on a Monday night!

I went here after seeing them parked across the street from the indoor Mini Mall. The sign is true, they're just like TJ! They're not cheap, about $3 per taco but they're packed with meat and guacamole. It was a messy meal but totally worth going back to. I tried the asada, tripa and adobada. My favorite was asada. I'll try the tripa again but ask for it to be extra fried, I like it crunchy. Service was average as was the wait, but it's worth it.

Whenever you want some tacos tj style this is the place to go to. Their tacos and mulitas are amazing. Was too hungry to take pictures of the other food but the tacos de tripa were so crispy. The taco de pollo was also very juicy. That with a glass coke is honestly the best combo. Even though they were busy the line went by very fast. Any time I'm in OC and need my taco fix this is where I go.

Whenever we're in the area and see the truck, there's always a crowd, and we always stop by to grab some food. They've never disappointed us. Lengua Quesadilla - 9/10 Loaded with tender lengua and definitely worth ordering. We recommend this spot to all of our friends. There's plenty of parking, and the truck is well lit at night. Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! I ordered six and only managed to eat three before realizing I had overpaid and that the $1 tacos weren't worth my time or the effort it took to chew them. Get home, crack open the foil, and... are these tacos for ants? I'm not crazy, so I did what any rational adult does: pulled out a food scale. Three tacos, weighed the meat. All came in at _under 1 oz_. Normal tacos run 1.5 oz. These are missing a full half-ounce of dignity. I usually need 2-3 bites per taco. These? One bite. I tested it. Slid right in like a communion wafer. Flavor? Aggressively mid. Carne asada tasted like it gave up halfway through cooking. Pastor was just... there. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable.
