Our condo complex had Tacos Tres Estrellas cater an event this past Monday and the food was really tasty! I've been to other events/parties with catered tacos from other places and most of the time there's not a lot of flavor to the food. The service was quick and friendly, they had a sign with which types of meat they had available and asked how many tacos each person wanted as they went through the line. They also had the option to make a quesadilla as well. The meat was cooked fresh and had a lot of flavor. They also had beans, rice, some mixed veggies, and a salsa bar available. The veggies were also cooked really well with great flavor too! The rice wasn't dry and salsa was tasty. The staff was friendly and the cooking station and salsa bar was clean. If you're looking for someone to cater and cook tacos for an event or party, would definitely recommend them! read more

Roberto was amazing ! I had him cater for my 30th birthday party for about 80 people. He was very responsive and made sure everything was perfect for my party. I got his package that came with 4 meats, rice, beans and quesadillas and it was all so delicious I couldn't go wrong with what ever I ordered. All my friends and family enjoyed it as well! Amazeballs! My brother in law used Roberto for his baby shower this past weekend. I wasn't there for the set up, but I was there towards the middle and ending. There was still plenty of food after I arrived but they ran out of grilled onions. The homemade salsa was 75% devoured but everything was still fresh tasting, not dry, and stellar service/attitude. I was able to quickly chat with Roberto about his rates, how he sets up, when he takes down, etc. Roberto is not only very accommodating but affordable in my opinion and I'm looking forward to booking him for my wedding rehearsal. My brother in law was extremely satisfied and said this is probably the 3rd time he has eaten these tacos and the quality doesn't change. The quesadillas are still talked about 3 days later. Taco the Town Attended a work event that was catered by these guys, and it was a grand time. The Good: *Fast and friendly service. I was worried about having to wait on line for a long time (#fatassproblems), but they whipped out the food rather quickly. *Cost ±$13/per person (setup, food, and cleanup--no drinks). However, I should preface that there might've been some familial "hook-up" if you catch my drift. *For the ±50 people in attendance, they pretty much had an AYCE taco fest. *Chorizo & Al Pastor were their best meats as they were packed with flavor. *Loved all their salsas but especially their spicy orange salsa. *Off-the-menu Quesadillas were bomb af. Luckily, I found out about these bad boys as I got in line for a second go-round of food because they were cheesy, meaty goodness. The Meh: *Chicken was just OK. Needed more flavor or maybe just more salt. The Ugly: *Their Mexican rice was bland af. I even tried spicing it up with salsa and fried onions, and it still didn't help. I hired Roberto for my sons first birthday party. And unlike all my other vendors who not only required a retainer but a full payment prior to the event, Roberto did not require me to pay ANY deposit, which frankly was a bit scary for me bc I was hoping he wouldn't bail, but after meeting Roberto, I found out that not only is he super reliable, punctual and kind, but he's also very trusting of people! On to the food: he had 4 diff types of meats and 3-4 kinds of homemade salsa that were SO delicious. He catered to my request of having a separate grill for the vegetarians, since we had some strict ones. The guests all raved about the food and Roberto and his wife had a smile on their faces the entire time they were there, in the 90 degree heat and all. I love tacos and I love parties and nothing makes me happier when both exist at the same time. We decided to have a backyard party for -40 people and I started looking on Yelp for a great taquiza to cater. Found Roberto with excellent reviews and he was very responsive via text. On the day of the party, he showed up, set up easily and had the food ready 15 min before I had asked (I can hardly plan that well for a meal for 3, let alone cooking for 40). The food was incredible- we had 4 different meats, quesadillas, and Roberto's phenomenal homemade salsas. Everyone was raving during and after the party how good it was. And if that wasn't awesome enough, he also made a quesadilla for my 2.5 year old before anyone else got served and saved her one at the end of the party (she was infatuated watching him cook). I absolutely plan on hiring him again for our next party. He took all the stress of food planning and cleanup out of the day so we could just enjoy the company and the meal. I just had Roberto cater our baby shower this last weekend for 100 people and I cannot recommend him enough. The food was amazing and his customer service was even better. Tacos Tres Estrellas offers some of the best street tacos we've had in the area. Fresh, flavorful, filling, with a great setup and amazing variety. Roberto, who is incredibly kind, professional and helpful, made 4 kinds of tacos, rice, beans, kids' quesadillas and several salsas with fresh onions, cilantro, radishes and lime wedges on the side. He set up for our house party well in advance of start time, came prepared to be outside EVEN IN THE RAIN (under a canopy), served our ~50 guests (adults and kids) throughout the party, and left us with days and days of delicious leftovers. Fantastic catering, professional service & amazing food! We had them over for a 4th of July this year. Roberto came early, set up and had tons of food ready at the time of the event. The food & salsas/sauces were absolutely amazing. All the guests loved it! Since then I know of numerous guests from that party who have contacted him for catering.
