Food has always been good. But they like to change prices when checking you out. Which is crazy because you can see on their tv menu what prices are and then they will just add like a dollar to everything you order. At first I thought that maybe it was like a credit card vs cash situation, but it was never disclosed and when I asked about it once they said they just hadn't updated their prices. Well it's been months and it still happens each time I go. Which has been less and less now that I go. And if you use cash they will just round up without asking and keep the change. The elote is really good and the street tacos were pretty good as well. I had one steak taco and one chicken. The meat was a little dry other than that they were good. The salsa bar is a great idea but it's a bit crowded and right by the cash register. The restaurant has lots of seating and the food was delivered quickly. I will try the burrito next time. Decided to have dinner at Tacos Way for Taco Tuesday. We had elote, a chicken taco platter and nachos way. Everything was made fresh to order. Service was quick and everything was delicious. Terrible food, yuk! The staff was totally disinterested. The hamburger taco was a half step above Taco Bell's taco. The fajitas burrito was warm and soggy: the vegetable fajitas were wet, the refried beans were gray and flavorless and very little soggy beef. Then the burrito was smothered in queso The "salsa bar" was a total mess, crap slopped everywhere, the pico de gallo was almost gone and who wants to put the scooper way down in that hole? We love coming here on a weekly basis. It's our go to place for Mexican food. We get the street tacos, fajitas, salsa and cheese dip! Best chicken fajitas in Bay County. My husband loves the salsa bar so he can get pickled onions and peppers. Highly recommend! Service is good! We love the lady who always brings us our food. Folks, let me share, with you, my story..... I was heartbroken and had just lost love. I had come out of a toxic relationship. Lonely and lost in the world..... I found something. I stumbled upon Tacos Way! Sure it's an unlikely love affair. Sure the staff are grumpy and stoned most of the time. But, that doesn't matter, they still make those tacos, with love! The tacos, the Carne Asada and Pollo Asado dishes, that Nachos Way platter, the queso and the Asada fries comforted me with their warm and filling embrace. Each taste of the avocado sauce slowly dripped into and healed the spliting cracks of my heart. Each bite of the street corn fills the holes in my lonely soul. Although, I'm not fully healed from my heartbreak and still very very lonely, you'll see me at Tacos Way often and alone. Eating my way to temporary happiness. Omg!!! Finally favor in Panama City!!! This taco place is so far the only Mexican Restaurant that I can say is really authentic. Brought my daughters here because one of her school mate highly recommend this place. My daughter had a carne asada bowls which amazing delicious. My other daughter had the carne asada plate, with homemade tortillas, in the other hand I had two carne asada tacos and one de lengua . I feel close to home now!!! Who ever is the owner of this restaurant "May God continue to bless you". The service was excellent!! I did not wait no more than 5 minutes for my food, and the ambiance was Hispanic with music, and TV with a sport bar. read more

I rarely give five stars to anyone. With that being said, Tacos Way has five stars from me and I've never stepped foot in the building. I've ordered the street tacos three times through DD and every single time they are spot on. These are pretty close to the tacos I get when I work in Mexico. Not quite, but very close. To date I've had the Barbacoa, Lengua and the Asada/Pastor on corn tortillas. I do request some of their pico to add and they are excellent! I've also had their Elote, Nacos Way nachos and a Quesadilla. All have exceeded expectations! This is my new go to for Mexican/Tex-Mex food in the area. read more

They have NEVER greeted me. He just stands there with a blank look on his face waiting for your order. If it is your first time there you do not even know their procedures. The crunchy beef taco was more greasy than Taco Bell and about the same flavor. The steak and carnitas taco were bland and dry. I was going to leave a 2-3 star as the portion sizes were reasonable, but going with one due to the choices of music videos at the bar. Came in quick for a lengua taco and burrito but they were all out and said it was hard to get because of there supplier. So friendly and apologized.
