This place has so many unique smoothies as well as a pretty big menu for their food items. I wasn't too hungry and since they didn't have elote, I got the esquite since it is very similar. My only complaint for the esquite was that it had a little too much water and mayo but other than that, the corn was sweet and all the seasoning was perfect and hit the spot! The main reason why this is one of my go to places now though is because of the smoothies. I haven't been too often just yet but the smoothies that I have tried from then so far have been absolutely perfect. I am just glad that I found this spot as the weather is getting warmer because I know I will be craving smoothies more often. The place is quite small and it was quite dim when I went in. We also ordered elote which is rolled up in tin foil. It was spicy for my palate and the crumbly cheese was okay. Just wasn't for my taste at all. But corn cleared my palate for the next bite. I had a much higher expectation from this restaurant but I guess maybe it was just not a good day? I'm willing to give them another try in the future but the food definitely didn't stand out. I placed an online order through Ubereats. I wasn't impressed with the food and the taste overall was just not there. The restaurant also failed to follow instructions and didn't remove the guacamole from the tacos for my husband. We ordered an Elote which was very awful and had a foul taste. I believe the corn was rotten. I love Elote and I love the Cotija cheese and chile on it but the corn itself tastes very bad. They also gave a weird amount, 1 Elote and a piece of random corn on the side, Ha! We had carnitas tacos and Al pastor tacos. They were okay but so much fat rather than meat. It was also slathered with guacamole which I love but my husband doesn't. I also had an order of chicken Flautas and they were fried great but the chicken inside was hard as a rock. It says it comes with lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole all of which was hardly present. They gave me brown wilted iceberg lettuce underneath the Flautas with the smallest amount of pico and guacamole. Having been loyal to packaged salsa for so long, this fresh, vibrant concoction was an eye-opening experience and set our standards even higher. We paired this with two drinks: pink milk with strawberries and of course, horchata. The pink milk tasted like cherry medicine and was an instant no. The horchata fared only slightly better, presenting itself as a rather bland but sweet beverage. It tasted like sugar water. Perhaps it fell victim to the melting ice (or a flavor thief, who knows?). Comfort food that takes you back to a little puebla, definitely not fine dining in any way. But always good. We always order the Sopa de Pollo (Chicken Soup) and their guacamole is always awesome. I've ordered from here before & I didn't make a review I believe I got the al pastor tacos previously which were delicious but now I'm vegetarian & can't enjoy that one. Thankfully, they have vegetarian options such as the cactus & vegetable tacos which I opted to try this time around. This was my first time trying cactus & I have to say that it was pretty good, it blended well with the sauces & everything else very well. In my opinion since cactus is a predominantly water type of vegetable, it did almost resemble the taste of cucumber without the cucumber taste if you understand what I mean. My fav was probably the elotes!! Nice portion for the price! & my friend got the shrimp cemita which they enjoyed, especially the spicy sauce that paired with it! Been coming here since 2018 and I've been ordering the almost same thing ever since that first day--the shrimp (camaron) cemita. I always get it customized (not spicy, no mayo and onions) and the restaurant has always been accommodating. The shrimp is cooked perfectly and they don't skimp on the amount. It's a delicious, filling (could be eaten for 2 meals if you're not too hungry), and decently priced. I've gotten their chips and salsa once and fell in love with their salsa at one point as well. I haven't had many of their menu items, not because I don't want to but because I always order the same thing as soon as I think about the restaurant. There's inside seating available and it's not the largest space but does the job. The people who work here have always been welcoming and nice. read more

Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel own this place and I'm amazed that they get along well enough to put out some pretty delicious Mexican noms. I'm not crazy about the drinks here but the service is wonderful and it's open late night on a Saturday night and you can't really ask for more than that. Now how about the incredible Cemita sandwich. It was under $10 and filling and tasty and served to me 5 minutes before they closed, so I'm really pretty happy with this place on my second visit. Really solid tacos from here with lots of meat in them! The meat is very tender and flavorful. I haven't been to the actual location but have ordered delivery from here and it didn't disappoint at all. The chicken tinga were especially my favorite and were very juicy, with the al pastor, enchilada, bistec, and carnitas all close seconds. The drinks are also really tasty, we got the lychee, horchata, and jaimaca drinks and loved each of them. Will definitely be ordering tacos from here again in future. WHOA! I was in the area and was looking for something to eat. it was late so most places were closed but this place was open and had good reviews. So I decided to come here and fulfill my hunger. This spot not only has good reviews, but also a free offer when ordering through Uber Eats. Between two people, ordered the Veggie Nachos ($11), Sweet Fried Plantains ($5), Al Pastor Torta ($9), and Chips/Salsa (free item). Food arrives within the 45 minute time window and still relatively warm. Nachos are a layering of the usual stuff along with broccoli for some reason - good flavor, could have used more cheese. Al Pastor Torta has well marinated meat but chewy bread, which made for some messy bites. Oddly enough there were pineapple pieces inside the sandwich, which was odd since it wasn't on the menu. Lots of value to be had on the plantains; would have preferred them to be sweeter. Chips are hearty and went well with the sour cream and salsa to the side. I've also tried the Birria tacos (the 3 quesa tacos de Birria) which comes with consume and it is by far the best Birria I've had - beats Birria landia by a long shot! I have been searching for birria tacos that I could get delivered for the longest time so I was SO happy when I saw tacos y Jugos Uber eats! The tacos were good and the consomé was delicious. My only issue was that the tacos didn't have that crisp look that you see all over social media and the tacos were soggy but that's what happens when you order delivery. I also don't know if authentic Birria tacos don't have cheese in them because these have none (which was fine by me). I would definitely eat it again but I probably won't get it delivered. read more

There was definitely a small language barrier but nothing difficult about pointing on the menu that had English translation. Ordered 2 shrimp tacos, 1 chicken taco, 1 fish taco, and 1 medium sized fruit juice (#10 - mango, pineapple, banana and something else). As we patiently waited for our food, complimentary tortilla chips and I belive tamarind salsa were offered. Kept nibbling and enjoying them, as they are addicting! Items came out at a decent time as handful of to-go orders were simultaneously completed. The tacos were averagely sized and full. The chicken taco tasted like your average taco, the fish taco meat lacked a bit of flavor, and the shrimp taco tasted the best. It had 4 big pieces of shrimp. The guacamole on all the tacos were the perfect amount and delicious. An accompanied green sauce was just the right topping along with a hint of pepper sauce. The juice tasted good and filling. Couldn't decide if they had put in sugar or just naturally sweetened. Only wished it was colder or iced and not as thick. Surprisingly enough this place had a bathroom, and it was clean & mint! Wow. I normally never write reviews unless I really feel like people need to know how good a place is. At the moment there's not even 80 reviews on this place but these were probably some of the best tacos I've ever had. Granted I'm no taco connoisseur but I am a native New Yorker and have had my fair share of tacos. I got the chorizo, chicken and steak. Chorizo was damn amazing and the steak was a close second. Chicken was better than average too. The red and green sauce with lime were amazing and the fact that each of the tacos come standard with guac in them - hell yeah. I was very pleasantly surprised with my order from here. I ordered 5 different types of tacos and a roasted pork cemita. I tried the cactus, chorizo, chicken, fried pork, and spicy pork for the tacos. They come with diced onions and guacamole on top. They were all pretty good but the chicken was a bit dry and it was my first time trying cactus so it tasted unique but not my taste. Each taco comes with two soft tortillas. I wish there were other things in it to add different textures but there's also 2 sauces, a red and green one, that are pretty good on the tacos. I also tried the roast pork cemita that had so many things inside: avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, beans, and even pineapple! My only issue is that I wish every time you order it came the same way. Sometimes it's perfect other times it's like I got it from somewhere else. They deliver and you can pick up as well! Super friendly and also there in a crunch when you want some good food. You must try the hot sauce that comes with it as well. If you're in the queens area check them out. I opted for a watermelon- guanabana smoothie with almond milk which made for an interesting taste. It was refreshing and sweet like watermelon and then milky and a wee sour no doubt by my choice of milk and guanbana. Ideally I should've let 2 wonderful fruit stand on its own. On a block dominated by Thai restaurants, this little Mexican joint gets little attention. It got on my foodie radar, and I really liked it. The place is small, but the menu is fairly vast with slighty different twist on the usuals. Got the Deep Fried Shrimp Ceviche Guacamole, tasted fresh and creamy. The Chicken Quesadilla was big on portion and plenty of queso cheese. Price was decent for the amount of food on the plate. Great meal! We stopped in for an appetizer to eat in and a takeout order for later. The ladies behind the counter were the sweetest, great service! We started with the guacamole with fried wrapped shrimp. I think this was like $12, and you get a nice amount of food. The guacamole is flavorful and fresh, the shrimp crispy and juicy, it all comes together. They complimentary salsa for the table is also really good, and they have a spicier version if you ask. I ordered a shrimp torta with avocado, tomato, jalapenos, and salsa verde. The jalapenos are pickled! My boy ordered a torta that came with avocado, egg, onion, roast beef, a hot dog...he said it was a Dagwood and he was really enjoying it. Solid sandwiches and they travel well.
