Taco Tuesday in Grand Prairie. I tried Tacos Y Mas today. The restaurant has a drive-thru and inside dining. I decided to eat inside and check out the restaurant. Easy breakfast menu, salsa bar, and nice seating options. Friendly staff and the service was quick. Five minute wait for my Chorizo and egg tacos. The salsa bar has a wide selection of salsa with various heat descriptions. Green is very hot and delicious. Two tacos, and a bottle of water for under $10 dollars. The food I ordered was not what it was supposed to be. I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon, egg and cheese and it came with sausage in it as well. I asked the lady if there was sausage in it and she said no. I threw it in the trash because I don't like sausage. My husband had breakfast tacos and they tasted weird. The "steak" was actually sausage but she assured us it was not. I know now why the parking lot was empty. read more

Food wasn't good at all. Staff was friendly. I ordered a quesadilla from 10 being good I would rate it a 3. Wouldn't come back to this place. If you like that real authentic taco stand this isn't the place. They had a salsa bar that was pretty good though. read more

Ordered 3 tacos Steak, carnitas, pastor I got to say the steak taco is probably the closest ive had to a taco ive been looking for. The taste is similar just missing the char snd juiciness, carnitas was also good. Pastor eh not so much. I like my tortillas with more oil tho not bad tho read more

The daiquiri den was closed next door, so I decided to check this place out. I asked the cashier what she would recommend? I decided to go with her recommendation, which was the quesabirria tacos. This item was my first pick when glancing over the menu. I ordered my meal to-go. After reviewing the photos, I just noticed there's a sign above the salsa station. No one said anything to me but be aware it looks like they only want dine-in customers to use the salsa station. They had just opened so they only had one table of 4 dining in at the time I visited. I'm sure it's not a big deal if they're not super busy. Plus, the sign can be easily missed. The establishment is spacious with in and outdoor seating. So glad they have a drive-thru. It makes it easier for individuals like me who would rather not get out of my car if I don't have to. The quesabirria tacos were fantastic! The tacos were hot, fresh, flavorful, and fulfilling. I tried all of the salsas but sadly can't remember which one I liked the best. Honestly, all of them were pretty good. It depends on your spice tolerance level. We decided to have breakfast tacos at this location. The environment was very "vibey" and chill. I could see myself enjoying a taco tuesday or happy hour here. The breakfast tacos were AMAZING. Seriously so so good. There is also a salsa bar with some interesting and delicious salsas. The downside of the food was the tortillas. Store bought-which is fine but as amazing as it was, a "homemade" taco would knock everyone off their feet. Now.. here's why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5 (The food alone was worth 5 stars). The staff were extremely rude. Did not greet us when we walked in and in fact made us pretty uncomfortable. When we were talking to the staff and ordering, the conversation was very unpleasant and quick and to the point. We got salsa from the salsa bar and I guess we left a spoon hanging out and staff came over and fixed it (understandably) but truly almost like she didn't want us in there. To top it off, I was cleaning up and throwing away and they have a sign that says "Please don't throw away trays". When I put items in trash, the trays clacked together and she rushed around the corner and stared at us watching to make sure we didn't throw trays away? I don't know. Didn't say good bye, didn't say have a good day. EXTREMELY turned us off from ever wanting to come back regardless of how amazing the food was. I'm extremely disappointed and as frustrating as the experience was the only thing keeping me from giving them a 1 star based on our experience was because the food was so good. I recommend getting it to go because they don't want your business inside apparently. read more

Delicious food. Sadly, we ordered before we noticed how filthy the place is. A bucket of hot soapy water, a sponge and mop are definitely in order! Somehow we're not throwing up so that's Happy. We would have gotten a refund but they don't give refunds so make sure whatever you get you're happy with cuz you're not going to get your money back. No ice for the drinks, which is weird since they have a bar in there. I guess people order warm margaritas? The bathroom is really dirty. So are the floors. Also we notice if they're using pieces of cardboard to make the tables balanced. A little TLC would go a long way here. The quesadilla but they're really good. The street tacos are about $2.50 and they're real good too. They have a salsa bar and I liked what I got off of it. But I won't go back and neither will my daughter. It's a shame but I wouldn't be willing to spend that kind of money for what we encountered. They do have a surcharge if you use a card. We happen to have cash today so yay. read more

I visited Tacos y Mas today! Wait staff very friendly & took my order quickly. Tables were dirty I had to clean off my table. Ordered Burrito Grande which was Good. I also Ordered Chicken Nachos which left much to be desired. Mainly Chips & lettuce with not much Chicken or Cheese. I may go again haven't decided but Restaurant needs to keep tables wiped down. read more
