Horrible follow up and service. We flew out from another state to come by a truck from them. They were great on the phone and up until we bought the truck, as soon as they got our money, the service has been nothing but awful. It's been 3 months and we still haven't gotten the title to the truck, with nobody calling us or following up. They put something on the truck that covered all the paint issues so we didn't see any of it until it rained and it washed it all off. The swirls marks all over the doors are totally noticeable. I've called 4 times with somebody saying they will call me back and nobody ever does. All this dealership wants is your $, they will do nothing to help you after or follow up. read more

We purchased our 2023 Chevy Silverado brand new off the lot at Tadd Jenkins Chevrolet in Rigby, February 2023. The truck is still currently under warranty. Despite that, it has been sitting at the dealership since early October with a failed transmission. The lack of communication and follow-through throughout this process has been extremely disappointing. The only person who tried to assist us was a salesperson who didn't even sell us the truck. She was great and the only one who made an effort to check status and provide updates. Unfortunately, we did not receive that same support from anyone else. We repeatedly attempted to get information from the service department, any return calls were vague. My husband spoke directly with Tadd at one point, and although he said he would look into our situation and call back, he never followed up. I was provided an older loaner car, which I appreciated, but I rely on a truck for daily use. When I asked if a loaner truck was possible, I was told simply, "No, we don't do that, customers have abused that situation" There was no effort to consider our circumstances, even though our vehicle was purchased new from them and is still under warranty. Midway through this long wait -- still with no clear update on when the transmission would arrive -- we even explored trading the vehicle in. Considering we have purchased three brand-new vehicles from a Tadd Jenkins dealership over the years, we expected a reasonable trade-in offer. Instead, the value offered was extremely low and did not reflect any loyalty or acknowledgment of the situation. We now have a formal GM case number and am pursuing next steps under the Idaho Lemon Law. Meanwhile, I continue to make monthly payments and pay full insurance on a truck I cannot even use. Because of this experience -- and the pattern of poor communication and unresolved issues across multiple purchases -- We will not be returning to any dealership associated with the Tadd Jenkins group. This has been a consistent issue, not an isolated incident. I hope this review encourages genuine improvements, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. read more

Jake was my salesman. He was great at answering my questions before I went to the dealership. When I arrived he got the truck I was interested in, warmed it up, then we sat in the truck and answered a lot more of my questions. Monica in the F&I department was super and helpful even though I didn't buy any extras like an extended warranty. I just wanted the truck. We had been looking for a newer Tahoe since moving to Wyoming. I cold-called the Sales department at Tadd Jenkins and reached Luke Shurtliff. Luke worked directly with us to find some vehicles on the lot that met our needs. We drove to the dealership that afternoon and test-drove several vehicles. Ultimately, we picked out a Tahoe on the lot that was everything we were looking for and drove it home. The service that Luke and the financing team delivered to us was exceptional. They even stayed after closing to assist us with the completion of the purchase. We had some expectations with the new Tahoe that we needed to be resolved, and they did everything to exceed our needs. I would definitely use this team again in the future. read more

Had a family friend buy a truck here not too long ago, was told everything was fine and worked properly only for the truck to break down on their road trip. Currently, they are stranded and having to dish out more money than they should to fix it, buy a hotel room because the truck won't drive for 5 minutes without breaking down. They also lied about the warranty to them, so they can't even get it fixed at the dealership. What a god damn joke. read more

Bought a vehicle used Jeep based on pictures from the internet and on the verbal from Paul sales guy the car went through a complete inspection...could not go look in person 400 miles away. Picked up the vehicle on our way to daughters wedding and hooked to our RV. When we finally got to destination I went over the whole car and found out the rear seat center seat belt would not retract...safety issue and the driver door and rear driver side door locks not working. Paul emailed me and called to follow up and see if I was satisfied...6 days later (after our daughters wedding) I told Paul about the 2 issues...reply...sorry car is as is and we won't help you fix those items...goodbye. Granted I bought as is...I know what that means...but safety issues should never be in question. I am going to file a complaint with the Idaho Consumer Protection Unit and ID DMV unit that issues dealer licenses...I think they will be interested in knowing that Tadd Jenkins Ford in Blakefoot is selling vehicles with safety issues. read more

I am rather pissed off right now. I traded my truck in on 12/6 but needed to remove some after market parts. During the sale I kept telling the dealer I would be pulling a 10,000 lb trailer. I asked him if it was the 5.3 lt v8 and he kept assuring me it was just like my truck but 3 years newer. It was a cold miserable day so I was not able to inspect the new/used truck like I should have. On 12/7 I went back to pick up the new/used truck and drove it home. At that time I realized it was a 4.3lt v6. I imedeitely called the dealer to tell them that that wasn't going to work. I was given a whole lot of song and dance, but bottom line Iwas told, " there is nothing we can do, You bought it". So now I am stuck, I will never go back for service or anything. I haven't even owned the truck for 24hrs and am so unhappy. read more

Terrible first time buying experience. Bought a truck with 30,000 miles a few months ago and within a week all the service lights came on. Took it in and it was fixed. Then 2 weeks later it wouldn't start. They had to reprogram the computer. Decided to look up the car fax and found out it had been in an accident they did not disclose. Truck still keeps having check engine lights come on and go away. They tell me to bring it in when it's solid. Not what you'd expect when you spend 50k. Would not recommend read more

I hate dealerships. I hate the idea of going in and "negotiating your best deal". It's not my idea of a good time to be honest. But these guys were great. They honored the price we were originally given when we first discussed it and honored the coupon that we were given too. Ultimately it saved us $2,100. It was no hassle and very easy. We like to be fair as we understand they are a business and need to make money, and I feel this was great for bother sides. We worked with Randy and he was easy going and no sales pressure. We hate feeling pressured to buy whatever vehicle we see, and Randy was very easy going and let us have time and space to make our decisions. Honestly, this was the best car buying experience we had. A Truck was purchased, and they said it was in great condition. They wanted 15,000 but took 12. The problems started shortly after the purchase. The fixed the panel that controls the seat warmers. The stereo wasn't working properly and they wouldn't replace it, had to pay half on a new one. Onstar was broken, they want 1000.00 to fix it. The drivers side 4 wheel drive seals were bad and leaking. That cost 250 dollars, they paid half. The blinker light seals were bad and water got in and they paid for half. The headlight seals are bad, but they won't help with that. The seal in the drivers side door is bad and water flooded the cab with the current rains. Manager wouldn't help at all at this point, said they don't want to see me anymore. Review written for a friend. read more

we took our truck in to get the air conditioner recharged. they told me it was leaking and it would take over $200 to fix it. I declined simply paying for the recharge and 2 summers later the ac still cools as well as ever. they were clearly trying to sell me a service I did not need. i would be extreamly careful if you had to have service done with these people. read more
