I eat small portions so we share most meals, but this was enough for two full entrees! The sweet candied bacon & creamy chunky blue cheese dressing on the fresh crispy Wedge blended perfectly. I added slices of the NY Strip & I'd say it would be my absolute favorite salad ever, minus the grease from the steak. The NY Strip & mushrooms were cooked accordingly & full of flavor. Huge baked potato as well. However, it was all greasy. Dessert menu looked delicious & included Creme Brulee, but we were too full. We saved our appetite all day for this wonderful steak dinner, but afterwards & the next day, we were both sick to our stomach. If it was just my stomach that didn't agree, it would be different, but it was both of us. Either it was the blue cheese dressing, which tasted fine or the grease. I am disappointed to leave 3 stars, because of how shockingly surprised everything was versus the reviews.

We made reservations and showed up early but they were able to get us right in. We had an awesome server, Olivia. The bread and butter was fresh and delicious. We ordered the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. The shrimp was a little tough but the sauces were tasty. I ordered the French onion soup and my fiancé the lobster chowder. Both were delicious. For the entree, I had the salmon and my fiancé the New York strip. The salmon was average but the New York strip was amazing. It was the best steak I've ever had. For drinks, we had moscato and the hurricane. For dessert, we shared the delectable creme brûlée. I would have given 5 stars but something upset both of our stomachs later in the evening, I'm thinking the shrimp.

We were in visiting on a work trip and we were looking for some great food. First off, the venue space is nice. I really liked the atmosphere and vibe. Unfortunately, things kind of didn't start well and they just went downhill from there. We were looking at the higher dollar menu items like the seabass and scallops. They had a scallops special that caught our attention but the chef wouldn't budge on the menu sides. We were looking for something lower carb. What I wanted was the scallop dinner with the special miso sauce, but instead of the sweet potato hash, I wanted veggies. But the server said the chef said no. Based on that, we both ended up ordering a hamburger. It wasn't what we wanted but we felt it was the safest option based on the quality of the appetizer. You see, we had ordered some calamari and it was so bad we had to send it back. It was nothing but hard crunchy batter. There was very little calamari actually in the pieces. You couldn't even pierce it with your fork. It was horrible. Based on the quality and flavor of the calamari, we decided to not take the risk on sea bass or scallops. The burgers came out and they were ok. Nothing special. I've read through some of the other reviews about the complaints of how salty the food is, and I can confirm the food we had was way over salted. Now for the service. This was a really awkward and uncomfortable night. The server was trying but he honestly didn't fit the price point of the menu. Each interaction was more awkward than the next. The things he would say and the way he communicated, made us so confused and uncomfortable. He was a nice guy, he just probably isn't a good fit as a server. We've had good meals in Charleston before, tonight wasn't one of them. The martinis we had were good, but we walked out of there only spending $70, while we had a budget of $125 each to spend. This restaurant lost out on $180 worth of business all because they didn't want to budge on the scallops dish. Do the math, this wasn't a smart business decision.

I would assume watching a game with a beer and snacks would be great. Old brick walls. Seriously cool venue. But the food was gross/odd. First off, we ordered "corn dip" and chips - it was a very small bowl of canned corn with some seasoning and cheese. Luke warm. We expected DIP, something creamy like creamed corn queso? Not a cafeteria bowl of yellow corn and a handful of bagged tortilla chips. I think it was $8! We also had the smash burger tacos which were utterly flavorless but the "star" of the meal had to be the onion rings which were BURNT. Yes, burnt. How do you burn onion rings? They tasted like leftovers we had brought home and thrown in the air fryer. When we asked the waitress if they had a deep fryer (they have multiple things on the menu you'd expect to be fried) she said no they had an air fryer. These were some of the worst onion rings we've ever had. So bad in fact, likely the first time I have ever seen my husband leave rings behind. If you want ambiance and a drink (we didn't try the bar menu) give them a try. If you want food, go somewhere else first. Really disappointing because we had been looking forward to trying this place when in Gallipolis.
