I make my appointments using the Yelp app for The Beauty Room in Mililani's website. I like that Ada has her own room off to the side of the row of recliners ( more privacy) but today I could hear someone's high heels clacking back and forth during my entire session. There was also oldies music playing in the background that I recognized. You have your eyes shut the entire time after your eyes have tape applied. Today Ada finished in about 43 minutes which is super fast. This was not a retouch but a full new set applied. Ada is very pretty and gentle with a light touch. First time I noticed her fingers weren't cold during the service. Very glad I was in and out so quickly. You're not supposed to get your lashes wet for 5 hours. I was prepared with a Tokidoki hat, umbrella and windbreaker in my tote. Darn Kona Low Storm wasn't going to ruin my new set of lashes. Friday the 13 th for sure with wind, rain and power outages as I write this review in the dark. Take care, keep safe, dry and warm.

She went in depth about the anatomy of the skin, technique, color theory, different needles and depth, and different pressures, different ways of shading/outlining, how to take before & after and the entire process of mapping etc) Coming from someone who has no experience with a machine, never had any background in beauty, I walked out the first class feeling confident in myself that it is possible for me to do this. Before I left she had me practice on latex which I gave her a full set of eyebrows which surprised myself and sissy. Shortly after I left I practiced and practiced day in and day out & let me tell you my first sheet of latex was not that great (but as expected as someone who has no experience) I texted sissy a photo and asked for her advice and within minutes she's replies with tips for me on how to better my work. It was too saturated, you can tell my pressure in some areas was heavy & the pixels was not there. After following her tips, the next set I did was much better than before. A quick update, I went to get my lashes removed and redone by another trustworthy lash artist. The…read moreremoval process takes about 5-10 minutes depending on the situation. Mine took about 20 plus minutes and she had to manually remove quite a few lashes because they were glued so close to my skin and there was so much glue it was almost impossible to get off! My lash tech mentioned i have damage from the previous set and there's a gap in my lashes due to that damage. While she was removing my old set of lashes, there was a cluster of 7 lashes glued to a singular fan! I honestly don't know how many lashes I lost but I am severely upset with the damage!!! I would really appreciate it if the owner of Beauty and the Brow could reach out to me regarding this situation. I paid $175 plus a $25 tip for the worst lashes I have ever had! I really hope she's not doing this to other clients!
