I didn't notice if it has an elevator or not. The keynote was on a Thursday night at 6pm and there was plenty of parking around the area when I arrived at 5pm.

Between the ballroom, theater, and patio, we had so many beautiful backdrops for every part of our celebration. The catering was incredible - our guests couldn't stop raving about the food, especially the brisket (which the chef loving tended to into the early morning hours). We also loved that we got to do a tasting beforehand, and the team was wonderful about accommodating dietary restrictions. The bar was just as great! Our specialty cocktail and mocktail were both a big hit. Danielle, the venue manager, was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. Her communication and organization were top-notch, and she was so friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. On the day itself, Danielle and the GTB team were calm, detailed-oriented, and took care of everything behind the scenes so we could enjoy our wedding without stress. The in-house florist created stunning arrangements, which made things that much easier for us. Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. GTB is very LGBTQ-affirming, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors. We're still getting compliments from guests about how beautiful and effortless everything felt. If you are planning an event in Seattle, this is a wonderful venue. It overlooks the water and is…read morevery close to the space needle. A family member was married here. $2500 gets you a beautiful space overlooking the water. We had use of the venue from 10am - 12 midnight. There was a bar area that had various sized glasses for 150 people. We brought our own beverages. We had use of the kitchen and did all the food ourselves. The bridesmaids decorated the chairs and gazebo that was made for the wedding. Two employees helped facilitate setting up plates and bussing tables. There is a dressing room for the bride (and wedding party) that has comfy couches, a dorm sized fridge and a counter space for hair & makeup people (if you bring them). There is a places to hang clothes. I saw hangers by the coat rack but I would bring hangers for gowns and dresses. The door by the kitchen can be locked. If you want privacy for this room, it is s good idea to have someone posted by the door. The facility has members that aren't restricted during your event. We saw a few people making their way to the dock that were not on our guest list. It would have been nice if they could have discreetly entered and avoided our dining area. We had 150 guests and a bridal party of twelve. There were only two stalls in each bathroom. If you want photo opps by the water, the bride and groom can take pictures on the dock. There is also a lovely place by the water that is a short walk from the building. The venue has various vases and containers that you can borrow to put on tables. The sound system is simple. There was a microphone. We brought our own music. There is a baby grand piano inside. Bonus points for the pretty views at sunset.

This venue is owned by the same people who have canceled my wedding at the Landing at Shilshole Bay…read moreso I wanted to make sure people booking here are aware of how Peter and Crystal do business. I was scheduled to have my wedding here on August 3rd. After booking in December and being told that construction would be completed in March my family and I checked in often to make sure everything was on track. The venue was not completed in March and we were given excuses every week since then about why things were not happening. My fiancé ended up going to see the construction progress on a date not scheduled with Peter and Crystal which is when he found the stop work order posted on their front door. Every time we had visited they covered this with a poster advertising the venue. We confronted them about this at our next meeting where they denied any problems and assured us that the venue would be completed. After looking into it more ourselves we found out that they do not have permits for the construction and have multiple people trying to get money back from them. At our next meeting we confronted Peter with this information where he finally said that our event would not be able to happen. The stop work order had been in affect since January. He chose not to inform anyone of this and keep taking people's money. We asked for our money back and he said if he wrote us a check it would bounce. They do not have any money and are scamming people. He promised to pay my dad back on Monday and it has not happened. He has stopped responding to us. Do not use this venue or their other venue called The Landing at Tyee. The construction has been done with out permits and the owners are lying to couples about what is going on with construction. The street to turn on to get to the venue was extremely dark and hard to find, and required me circling the block a bit. On the other hand, parking wasn't bad. There were several parking spots right outside the venue, but also there was easy street parking in the area. They have a nice bar area with seating, a kitchen area for food that you could hold just enough people to grab food, and a large main space that was pretty good for dance party. The ceiling of the main space was basically two floors, which at least for our party meant the lighting was kinda strange. My only real complaint is the bathroom situation. Basically, there are two bathrooms in the entire venue. Not bathroom *areas* or mens/womens, but literally two toilets. For our large group, it was technically sufficient, although we seemed to run out of toilet paper a couple hours in, but it did mean lines. I was not privy to details like the cost or the actual number of attendees, so I don't know how much it was "worth it" in that sense, but we had a good time.

It fit comfortably about 11 round tables of 10 people with a nice size dance floor. Buffet was a Mediterranean feel, offering Vegetable Napolean, Baked chicken with mushrooms, salad, a Salmon dish, and a couple of other flavorful dishes. They had an open bar, which is nicely placed near the entrances to the venue. Bathrooms are nearby, well lit, and clean. The view was breath taking from the 8th floor. You can see the city and when the sun sets you have a gorgeous backdrop. The night view of city lights is just as beautiful! My only bummer was the parking. We found it difficult to find the entrance to the parking and the one entrance we did find, the security guard told us to go around. Not being specific about to where. So we street parked. Which in our favor was okay, it was free! Street lighting isn't very bright, but we managed.

Our group rented the Panoramic Room, a conference room; the first floor training room and used their catering service. They have conference rooms available. There is a catering kitchen. The staff is great and they have a security guard inside the main entrance. The catering company, FareStart, is a great program and their servers were very professional and efficient. There is a good amount of parking available for $5 per day. The North parking lot has a view too. The building was home to Amazon in its early days, so the tech, mechanical, seismic and security are current. Now it houses many non-profits and the event space rates for non-profits are half the commercial rates. Seattle traffic is fierce, but this spot is relatively easy to get to by surface streets. It can be and is used for weddings with up to about 300 occupancy standing ranging on down for seated arrangements - occupancy is on their website
