I came in the 2nd week of December to get License Plate for my SUV and Drivers License since I…read morerecently moved to Oklahoma from Las Vegas. My son told me Oklahoma doesn't have DMV offices and you have to go to a Tag Agency. I have to say this was so much better than the horrible DMV offices in Nevada. You have to have an appointment like 3 months in advance if you can get one. Before the pandemic you could just walk-in , but you would be there for hours trying to get something done with all the California people moving there and some from other places. This was so much better of an experience ! Everyone was so nice as most of the people I've dealt with in Oklahoma. It reminds me of the small town I grew up in South Carolina in the 70's and 80's. I had to do 2 different lines. The first was a young lady who did my registration , plate , and sticker. She also informed me that I would have to get a new title to register in Oklahoma. I've never heard that before , but I guess they do that in some states. She also went out to my SUV to verify the VIN. Thankfully it's not lifted since she could barely get up to see it without getting on the tire , it is a Toyota FJ Cruiser 4x4 so it does sit higher than most standard SUVs. The 2nd line I showed all my documentation to this lady to verify I had everything to get my new Oklahoma Drivers License. She arranged everything neatly to give to the another lady when it was my turn and also reminded me to let her know that I had Motorcycle Endorsement also so it could be listed on my Oklahoma License. There were a few people ahead of me for the Drivers License so I did have to wait over an hour , but they had chairs and the lady would talk to me and the others waiting as she was helping someone else. I only had to wait behind one person for the registration and they had 3 people working that counter. The drivers license lady also added my Veterans Status and Real ID on my license since I brought in my Passport . I'm not complaining , as I said in Las Vegas it would take you usually 3 hours or more at the DMV before they started doing appointments and still it takes at least an hour to do your stuff. I highly recommend this location for your drivers license , registration , etc.

I have never gone to a DMV where they only allow a certain amount of people to get their drivers…read morelicenses. I lived in HI, IA, SD, MN and NE. NONE of these states have an specific amount of customers to get their DL and then you aren't allowed to get them. Apparently there are only 20, yes TWENTY tickets they hand out to people who some show up at 3 am to get one to get their license. My family and I just recently moved from out of state and were shocked to find out that we had to come back the next day "early enough" to secure a ticket. If we don't then we'd have to go through the same song and dance. And NO you cannot make an appointment with their appointment system they tout on their site and in the DMV to use to make one. Stillwater is a walk in only. And for those DMV sites that have them - you are only have appointments available 60 days out. Or you can attempt to try to drive to another city to get one. For us some are as far as 200 miles away!! This is a joke! How is anyone supposed to get a new license when they've moved from out of state? In HI you make an appointment, and sometimes you're able to get an appointment for the next day. OR you can do a walk in and wait your turn. But no one is ever turned away unless it's time to close. They help as many people as they can to get what they need. Otherwise no one would be able to get a license!! Someone told us that you'll need to show up at the DMV at 3 am to get a ticket (1 out of 20) to get assistance. Hello OK is this what you call customer service? Is this what our tax dollars are going to? You cannot tell me that with the people that work for the DMV in each city can only help 20 people with their licenses?!?! That by far is the biggest scam I've heard so far. I will be emailing my Congress members to find out what in the heck is going on!! Cause I need my DL and I shouldn't be turned away due to only allowing 20 customers being helped. This needs to be changed! This is a poor example of customer service and a prime example of how terrible government is at running things. This is pathetic after experiencing much better service in several different states.

For a city of this size this is unacceptable, especially for someone who has relocated from another state and needs to change their CDL. Should be able to do this at any license station. Especially since it's still active from the state I moved from. However you are able to go on line , inlineonline.ok.gov and make an appointment, trust me it'll save you a wasted time and headache.
