Second course was a lentil salad with cooked lentils, pickled celery, roasted fennel, lemon juice, goat cheese, and quick fried lentils on top to add a surprising crunch. My favorite of the courses. The acid from the lemon juice and the fat from the goat cheese was heaven on earth. Third course was a bouillabaisse of monk fish, pearl onions, and potatoes in a salty and savory, saffron tomato sauce topped with small dollops fresh aioli. Fourth course was an entire sole done so perfectly it melted in your mouth, covered in a lemon tarragon cream, and sprinkled with bread crumbs. Fifth course was a Paris-Brest filled with praline cream, spotted with sunflower seeds then dusted with powdered sugar. A very light and delicate end to a wonderful meal. This was more than just a dinner out on a Saturday night, it was an experience to be shared with your best friends or a romantic partner.
