We also got the fried okra & the banana pudding for dessert. My chicken wings were top tier, & I have high standards when it comes to my wings, haha. When looking for good wings I love a dry rub & these had that w a unique flavor & were seasoned really well. At times I'd get a little hit of spice but overall savory & not spicy. It'd be awesome if it was an option to make them hotter for those of us that like that but again, they're delicious as is. They have a perfect crisp, the meat was cooked perfectly & they're good size wings & meaty, not full of cartilage or fat which I hate. The meat came easily off the bone too. My husband begged for some & we both will be going back for wings for sure. The fries it came with were great too. Nice & crisp on the outside, soft on the inside & seasoned well. The fried okra was good & I liked that they weren't too heavily breaded so u could taste the okra. My husband loved the gyro burger & he normally can finish his meal but it was so big he got two meals out of it. It's impossible to bite so eating some meat first is key. Lastly, the banana pudding was great & a large portion so again, we had leftovers of that too. I do recommend ordering pickup as it's a smaller place with a few tables & takes a while to cook certain menu items but again, was cooked perfectly & was hot & fresh. Also, the owner & her staff were super friendly & it gave a home cooked meal vibe. Our wait went by quickly with all the laughs & conversation. Looking forward to returning!

Gyro dinner with sweet potato fries was my main entree. That was so much of food, it will feed 2 or 3 people. I ordered pizza puff, but took home as the fist item itself was more than enough. That was a good one. I liked the milkshake as well. I went for Oreo cookie cheesecake as dessert. It was a lot of oreos and stuff. Probably that was good for 3 or 4 people.

Food: Wow!! We ordered 3 entrees to share amongst 3 people- "medium" spice level- and each was perfect! We even had extra to take home. My favorite was the tempeh. I didn't know how much potatoes are used in Indonesian cooking. This Irish girl appreciated that! Each of the 3 dishes included potatoes in some way and each were different and delicious. Cocktails: I ordered the Long Island Thai Tea and it was too strong for me so a friend drank it, and said it was awesome, and I happily returned to Diet Pepsi. I'm not really a drinker. It looks like there is a performance space next to the dining room, so I'm guessing there might be music or karaoke nights here? I'm totally going to check out that option as that would be a blast. Looooooooved everything about Bandung and I'll be back. Often!!

With a City Tin discount coupon in hand we popped in early on a Friday evening. Good thing we were early because it was pretty full soon after we arrived. It appears you can call for a reservation which we will do next time. After ordering a beer and after the kind waitress gave us instructions on how to see the full menu through a QR code we placed our order. (They do have a physical menu but that is the short version - more is on-line. She did say that to get to the QR menu is complicated and she was right - thus the coaching session!) I saw from one of the reviews a recommendation on the Krakatoa Chicken so I ordered it. The presentation is not unlike fajitas with a smoking hot plate of lightly fried chicken, onions, carrots and mushrooms brought to the table. The server then poured on the sweet sauce and the steam enveloped the restaurant. Quite the show and it was delicious. My wife got the Bakmi Jahe noodle dish, which was on the short menu, and very tasty and a huge portion. Prices were reasonable for the portions and the quality. We will definitely return.

Today's visit comes after their MLK Day southern food (mind you we got the itis and hit a coma. And had the bedt banana pudding dish). We had their gluten free cauliflower chx ranch pizza lovely presentation. Melting sauces with flavor. And the chx just right. With a drissle of Sriracha with their ranch, I was able to experience a nice sweet kick as well as the tasteful pizza. We enjoyed their Boylan soda. And when I asked about birthday specials (see attached), I was surprised to be belittled a fully dessert dish unlike anything I've gotten from restaurants! And lets be real, other restaurants NEVER give more than a SLIVER of dessert. I received a generous thankful helping and I loved it. Can I get this whipped cream recipe!?! 5 stars. 10 out of ten. Thank you for being the best birthday meal I've had in YEARS. And if that was you, thank you Chef James.

I still think about that Philly roll and it is now 3 days later, definitely get that! There were tons of things we wanted to try but I guess we will just have to make a point to go back someday (we were on a trip to Madison!). The restaurant is located upstairs and it has tables with nice window seating which is where we sat and enjoyed looking down onto the street for people watching. You can order from your phone or have the server take your order. Ordering from your phone is great because it makes it easy to just order separately if you want to pay separately and you can also just leave when you are done because you've already paid when your ordered.

I ordered at the counter, and a few minutes later the worker came by offering my dining partner and me chicken soup as a little extra gesture--hot, delicious, and very welcome. I had cilantro rice and black beans alongside my chicken, all perfectly done. The flavors here are solid and a great introduction for me to Peruvian cuisine. Why not five stars? The vibe is minimal and casual--gas station setting and all--so it's more functional than cozy or lively. Still, the food is excellent, and I'll absolutely be back for more.

We went there to celebrate the 50th birthday of a friend from New York who was in town for the art fair. Abby was attentive, with good recommendations. She's such a sweetheart. As a solo female diner, it's always intimidating to eat alone. When I arrived, I asked to sit at the bar, but saw free spots at the tables along the window. We'll I waited for a good 20 minutes without anyone checking on me before moving to the bar. The bar was really no better. Service was abysmal and the bartenders were not so friendly. The bar was also not well kept with glassware and napkins still in my space from the previous patron. I had to ask for water, napkin and utensils after my food came. I also had to ask for another drink, while the 2 girls next to me were attended to constantly. I ended up ordering the shrimp risotto and while tasty, it was too salty after a few bites. I'm giving 2 stars because they have a decent wine selection.

The place had a decent lunch crowd, but was by no means packed, so we figured it would be quick to get food for the kids. Our waitress came to get our drink order pretty quick, but then service slowed for receiving our drinks, ordering food, getting our food, and getting her attention for a to-go box and our bill. As for the food, we ordered the Bangor, which had shrimp and haddock and choice of two sides where we chose the corn muffins and beans. We also got the Nashville hot chicken sliders with sweet potato fries, kids chicken tenders, and kids burger with fries. The kids meals were both quite generous portions, especially the chicken tenders. The tenders were nice and juicy with a crisp exterior and one of the best things ordered. The kids burger was overly charred and had a little burnt taste, so the child wouldn't eat it and ended up eating the shrimp from the other meal instead. The Nashville hot sliders were decent sandwiches and quite large, but were by no means Nashville hot, more like somewhere between mild to medium spice. The sweet potato fries were great though and went well with their bbq sauces. The fish and shrimp received mixed reviews from the two people that ordered it. The corn muffins were definitely something that we would get again and also worked great with the bbq sauces. Overall, it was fine with some good and some not so good. The price is a little higher than some restaurants with similar offerings, but the portions are quite large, so maybe that's the tradeoff. Not sure if this is going to get added to our rotation, but they did seem to have some good happy hour deals, so maybe for that.
