This spot is a must stop to start your day in the Lake Tahoe area! Great selection of fresh bagels, sandwiches and coffee drinks! It is clean and spacious with plenty of seating! The staff is friendly and efficient!

We come every Tuesday and Friday for our coffee and bagel after our strenuous workout. Shannon and all the employees are so courteous and customer service oriented. Food is always fresh. The drinks are always hot and the atmosphere is always Tahoe friendly.

got the pesto-spinach-everything bagel with regular cream cheese and it was so good! i came here on a friday morning at around 7:30 am, and there was a decent line but it moves quickly. the shop has a pretty home-y vibe to it. the bagel was perfectly toasted, chewy, and soft like i wanted. it was only $3.75 for the bagel with cream cheese, which is pretty affordable compared to a place i often visit down in orange county. will definitely visit again when i'm in town!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. This place is the only option I would consider for bagels in Tahoe! The quality, top notch with bagels being rolled by hand on shop and cooked to perfection with that nice bite and chew of a true NY style bagel. I got the lox bagel and it was balanced perfectly with every ingredient complementing one another and nothing was in excess. The staff amazing, super friendly makes you feel at home! The inside was large too with plenty of seating and tables even couches to relax and enjoy a great bite and good coffee!

The proper Philly on a roll although a little expensive was the most delicious Philly cheesecake that I've ever had. The meat was filled to the brim and it was just so good 10 out of 10.

When in South Lake, The Tahoe Bagel is a trip! The funky, old school vibes you get when wandering in make this a unique and memorable spot. This place is tucked away maybe a minute from Highway 50 on Kingsbury grade. They have a plethora of breakfast and veggies options, with a good selection of bagels. They have matcha, seasonal latte options, different cream cheese flavors, and a decent selection of juice, sodas, and tea. I came in HUNGRY and tried the Goombah sando with added turkey. It was crispy, delicious, and HOT. Oh my. Basically, a glorified caprese salad on a bagel. It was oily, messy, and wonderful. I got help ordering from Shannon, and she was a great help! The seating area is a tad limited for the lunch time rush I was here for. They have a couple couches in the middle that are nice and cozy, and a mix of tables that can fit 2 up to 6 people. It seems to have a good flow, but I wonder if there's a different or better way to accommodate more people to dine in. It seemed like most to half the people that came in got their orders to go, and had there been room to accommodate them, if they would have stayed. Overall, a friendly and high energy place that makes bomb bagel sandos. I wish this was closer to my stomping grounds in Reno, so it makes a special trip worth it to the Tahoe Bagel Co!

I wish i got pictures of my breakfast!! (It was that yummy) Everyone was very kind & service was fast! I had a simple meat, cheese and egg sandwhich, added avocado and an almond coconut joy latte (l think thats the name). Theres plenty of space to dine in but i definitely recommend taking your order to the lake for a relaxing morning/ lunch. I look forward to coming back again!

Busy on a Tuesday morning but service was quick. I had a ham and egg on a jalapeno bagel and it was delicious. The bagel was so fresh! They make their bagels in house and you can definitely taste it. I would definitely make the short drive here for some fresh bagels the next time I'm in town.

Good quality food at a reasonable price. We wanted an easy lunch for our day and this was the perfect place! Also all the staff that helped us out were all very friendly.

Ohh Mmm G! This is the culinary version of your favorite sweatshirt, that comfy chair you can't let go and those feels from turning over the pillow to get the cool side. If you live around here this would be one of your go-to's from the get go. They have everything you want and they make it just the way you like. They even have a French toast bagel, which I've never seen in captivity before. Portions are generous and the staff are operating at top level. Alexa, play Talking Heads "This must be the place."

There's lots of options to choose from you can custom it and make it your own the bagels and the spread are so good. I wish we had one out here in Southern Cali. I already miss it!

Solid bagel spot. Been here a couple times for breakfast but in first time coming here for lunch. Got their trip tip bagel sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bagel with jalapeños, mayo on the side. The meat was tender and bagel was delicious. Loved it! My friend got coffee cake which was a small portion for the price and the topping was too sugary. Service is fairly quick and they have a decent space to sit and eat

My favorite bagel spot in South Lake. I love the cream cheese choices. The garlic herb one is to die for and the sun dried tomato comes in close second. Lots of yummy bagel options to choose from and they have a wide variety of coffee choices, too. Breakfast bagels with eggs are also an option on the menu! Ample seating area if you come with family or friends. Walk up order style- they call out your number and you go pick up your order at the counter. This is a regular spot I visit when I'm in the area!

We got a chocolate croissant (only decent thing I got, but don't compare it to an artisanal made croissant where it's a dark golden brown with flaky crispy buttery layers). Their "croissants" are more like anemic, soft, moist bread. Also, got a cheese Danish. Starbucks sells a better cheese Danish than this place. The Danish was dry and hard and the center filling looked like it was pre-made frozen and just placed on top of the Danish. Finally, the worst of the worst, I got a personal size dutch apple crumble pie. Now THIS looked like it was made from scratch and I had hopes for this one. However, I took a piece of the crumble topping and ate it. It had an unusual funny taste. Almost like it was made with lavender. Didn't taste quite right. Then, when I got back to my hotel, I really dug into it. It wasn't just the crumble that was off, but the entire pie tasted of rancid spoiled butter. I had to spit it out, it was horrible. I can't believe they would serve that. I don't know how old that thing was, but they need better quality control. The only people I could see giving this place 5 stars on the food, are locals. Tahoe is behind when it comes to quality high end artisanal pastries. I have yet to find a decent coffee shop. Their sign boasts "Voted Best in Tahoe", but you'll see that almost every spot here has the same sign, from ice cream shops to bakeries to whatever else because there's literally nothing here. If you're from a big city, don't come here. Service was pleasant. No complaints.
