The morning of my departure to the airport I did not check beforehand but no other app car service was available to come get me, I was in a hurry and decided to look on yelp for help. She came to my location on time and instantly rescued me from being stranded and not making it to the airport. After calling close to a dozen taxi companies for a ride from the airport to the Ritz Carlton in Truckee, I found Lisa's rates to be the most reasonable, and her customer service was excellent. The Lincoln Navigator she picked us up in was beautiful inside and outside -and spotlessly clean. The car is temperature controlled in the rear seats and the ride was beautiful with Lisa being a great tour guide as she drove us to our destination. She knows the area really well, so can definitely guide you to places as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our drive with her and will definitely use her when we return to Tahoe. A+++ service compared to some of the other higher priced Taxi company staff or owners I spoke to. read more

It was our first time at Lake Tahoe and our hotel recommended Tahoe Taxi Express. Once we connected with Lisa, our trip was unbelievable! We wanted to see Emerald Bay and she brought on our own personal tour from Squaw Valley. It was AMAZING! I called Tahoe Taxi for a same day pick up to drive my Daughter, who had woken up quite ill, to the airport to get her on a flight home to NY ASAP. Lisa, who i believe is one of the owners, was amazing!!! My daughter was picked up in a Pristine SUV exactly on time. Loyal, dependable and all around "ideal" Taxi Service for The Lake! (Read even the not recommended reviews...people have taken the time to write a review when they rarely do and it doesn't get posted because they rarely care enough to do so so the system kicks it out). How many times have you been stuck on a holiday weekend unable to get a cab? Is it snowing and you just want to get home or did the sun and the beauty and fun of the Lake's offering plus a cocktail or two, too many ... make it "TIME TO GO!" Or how about screaming kids, any time, any place and you need a ride, now.. Luckily, this Taxi Service runs like a business that prides itself on service and safety and gets you home - or at least they did for me. I found the service dependable and ORGANIZED...like you ought to be on a holiday when the cab drops you off, they should ask if you thought about when you will want to come home and then schedules your pick up or made a plan to figure out if a time frame would work. Trust me - one time this driver made it work for me and a number of others on a holiday night! This service taught me that it pays to have a pick up plan before you get dropped off but don't take advantage and reserve the time if you don't use it. (Policies may have changed and they may want a deposit or something in case people abused the system, hopefully not). They never left me stranded when we made arrangements and always got me to where I needed to be on time.... Including my return trip home which I would have missed had they not been such a tremendous help! Loyalty pays, though, so be good to the drivers and they will be more than good to you back. Meaning don't stiff the driver, don't be rude, if you are going to get sick, say something so you can pull over, and all the other standard etiquette of "Tahoe Taxi Courtesy". Weather you need a ride or stranded somewhere this is the company to call! We were caught in a snow storm after skiing and couldn't get a ride from uber, lift, local buses and the resort. Was in town (Incline Village) for a concert at North Tahoe Regional Park. Called up a taxi service that was so busy they couldn't accommodate me but referred me to Lisa, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the result! The ride was clean, neat, and best of all quick! We were worried we wouldn't get to our destination in time since concert traffic had backed up the main road (CR-28) from 267 all the way to 431. Enter Lisa! She had to come from near where our destination was (15-20 minutes w/o traffic) and gave updates on her location twice on her way to us saying it was going to take at least 45 min to get through (my smart phone GPS confirmed that). She picked us up and after we said we were worried that we couldn't make it in time she took matters into her own hands! Miles of tail lights were avoided as she wove through the side streets, shaving minutes of the trip at every turn. We were very impressed and always felt safe and comfortable! On the ride she was entertaining and even told us about a few "hidden spots" that are great to visit while in town. Once we got to the park she drove us much further than most people were getting dropped off, we had 1/10th the walk we figured there would be. We knew we would need a ride back as well and she said she would make sure she was there for us! We had folding chairs and umbrellas that we weren't sure security would allow us to take into the grounds and she generously offered to hang on to them. We ended up taking them with us but the offer was unexpected and appreciated. Concert ended and we texted her on the way out, she was waiting for us on the road just past where she had dropped us off. Tons of people trying to wave her down but she stayed true to her word and picked us out walking with our chairs and umbrellas. What we paid each way was fair and the next time we are in North Tahoe and need a ride she's getting our call. Thanks Lisa, see you next time! read more

Fantastic. Great experience dealing with this company. Easy to access, clear communication, punctual, professional. We needed a ride back to our car after doing one section of the TRT. We emailed the owner (Lisa) our plans. She was quick to respond and accommodate. We needed special treatment because of our dog and she was there for us. When we called to let her know we'd arrived, she was there within 15 minutes. We forgot stuff in her car and she was willing to work with us to have our stuff returned. Can't say enough good things. We took the Zephyr from the Bay Area and needed a clean and safe ride to the Village at Squaw. We scheduled a pickup and we're greeted at the Truckee train station by our super personable driver with a nice Suburban with space for our extended family. On the way back, our driver even helped us find a great place to eat breakfast in Truckee to pass the time as our train was severely delayed. Was here in 3... 5 bucks from 267 to stateline... I gave her 8... Called about 2 hours later, she picked me up within 8 minutes, brought me home safe... Then about 5 minutes after she drove away, I realized I left one glove in her car, called her, she came right back to deliver it with a smile... Got a big tip too... Kings Beach has been a regular vacation spot with family and friends since I was a kid. A few years back we met Lisa, that owns the company, absolutely wonderful lady!! We had so much fun that weekend & she went out of her way to take care of us & shows some places I didn't even know about.
