We had picked up pool supplies from Tahoe pool service several times and never had any issues…read more However, when we put in a request for a service on our heater with a bad igniter, they sent a tech out with a near $1000 service fee, and despite being told that the heater had a bad igniter, brought no parts with them. The tech also arrived an hour and a half before the agreed upon time, checked the error code (ignition), and turned around and left without notifying us. When we called to see what had happened, they told us the tech did not have the part, but we would still be charged the $900 emergency service trip fee, and would have to pay another $900 to get the tech back out with the correct part. This is all despite telling them that the problem was with the ignition from the start, but they did not think to send the tech on an emergency ignition service with a replacement igniter. We were a bit taken aback by this, and the service rep on the phone was not polite or understanding, and felt the need to call us back to tell us this was what we had agreed to, and it wasn't their responsibility to tell us that they would not be here at the agreed upon time or that they did not have the part. At this point, we felt that things had moved past simple poor service and we were being taken advantage of, and terminated the relationship.

We regret purchasing from this company and here's why:…read more 1. While shopping here, we inquired about the tax dedications in relation to chronic back conditions. Charlene asked her manager who came out and told us a blatant "no." (I've since looked into this and it wasn't true.) 2. The financing manager told me that the APR was 8.9% if credit was above 700. When I applied, the APR was 10.99% which scared me thinking I fell to an identity theft situation, as we keep our credit score high. The company sent me a credit report which was above 800, where we expected it. I did NOT appreciate him not knowing the financing company's actual rates. 3. Three months after having the tub, we experienced an overheating issue. Called and spoke with Angie who said she would schedule a visit and reach out. She was very nice and informed me She responded with instructions using terms that I was never explained during installation. This was quite confusing to me and I wrote her back explaining how this was frustrating and how I still wanted a visit. Since then, I explored the issue, got instructions from another source and was able to address the issue. I followed up with an additional email with more questions, but received no follow up call. If I could go back, I would have spent more time shopping and selected from another place, but wanted to give local a chance. This company struck out in my opinion.

Eric rocks! I was looking for a pool table, and checked out RC Willey in Reno. All the reviews…read moresaid RC Willey had cheap 'toy' tables. I found Tahoe Pool Tables through a Yelp search. I called Eric and he met me at his Carson City storage spot that afternoon. He had about 12 used tables to choose from. these are the real deal, with 1" thick slate - 400 lbs of it. I picked a table the looked good, and the next day he delivered to my townhouse in Stateline NV. His installation was totally professional. He put the table together, leveled all the slate, filled all the gaps and screw holes, sanded smooth, refilled and sanded. Eric installs the felt right there ,and gives you multiple choices of colors. The install includes starter cues and balls - he even brought chalk to match the felt color! I highly recommend Eric at Tahoe Pool tables for used tables. I plan on doing some renovations to my place, and will definitely call on Eric to move and reinstall the table.

What truly set this experience apart, though, were the hosts. During our stay, I had an unexpected emergency surgery, and they went above and beyond - graciously extending our stay while I was in the hospital and showing such genuine care and flexibility during a stressful time.
