The booking email says to meet a Zephyr Cove Lodge 90 minutes before tour, but a text the day before moved it back by 45 minutes. Okay. I just assume we're hopping on the running bus in the parking lot, but someone comes out and says we need to check-in inside. Inside is chaotic. Do we need to get helmets here or the trailhead? Nobody seems to know. I'm thinking "ma'am this is YOUR show". A few helmets appears, then a few more. Plot twist, there's plenty at the trailhead. Then the bus driver rolls through the crowd barking to get aboard and he's leaving immediately. So we do - and without a greeting or headcount, we're off. Off to nowhere it seems. We roll through two resorts and take on zero additional passengers. How does this happen? How is scheduling so loose we're wasting time turning around at the Golden Nugget? Then we transfer to another bus. Some story about it having a more powerful motor. It look like an identical old school bus that's been fitted with new seats. It's not like we're off-roading to the trailhead, it's paved roads the whole way. Then why couldn't we just drive ourselves to the trailhead and save fussing with busses and save two hours? Anyway - once there - equipment is good, guide is good, scenery is outstanding. Just wish it wasn't such a hassle to get there.

The tubing was a blast (actually an inflatable mat) but the wake board was difficult since the hardware was damaged.

Horrible experience!!!! We were kicked out after only about…read more20 minutes, even though we paid for a 1-hour rental. The issue was that we entered an area where we were not supposed to ride. We did not understand that it was a restricted swimming area. We saw other watercraft and people paddling nearby so we didn't know we can't go that area. We also slowed down as we approached the shore and we believed we were following the rules that had been explained to us, including staying within the designated boundaries and not accelerating in restricted zones. Instead of clearly explaining the situation or giving us a warning, two staff members approached us angrily and told us we could not continue riding because we were "trying to kill people." When the rules were explained before the rental, we were told about the boundaries and what to do if we wanted to switch riders, but we were never clearly told which route to take when returning to shore or how to identify swimming-only areas. When we brought this up, staff simply said that the rules were included in the paperwork we signed. We were only told that it was our own responsibility if something happened to us before signing. No one specifically told us to carefully review additional riding rules!!!

They allow you to take the jet ski all over Lake Tahoe and do not have restrictions, like other places. We did ask if they had discounts, but they did not. I felt safe on the Sea-Doo GTX 130 Pro. The price was decent compared to other rental shops. The one thing I was disappointed in was that there was an extra "top off" fuel charge about 8%. There is no real way to know how much fuel we really used. I do like that other places just build that into their prices, maybe a suggestion for the future? Regardless, both guys were great. But…read moreTNT refused to refund the money even though the contract states - "Customers will also receive a full refund or credit (customer's choice) in operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances" Even with repeated requiests TNT refused to provide us a refund and offered only a credit for a later booking. We had no plans to return to Lake Tahoe as the initial trip was planned for our extended family visiting from India. Finally we relutanlty agreed as they offered to compensate with 2 nights of hotel stay at Harras or Harvey's on a later trip along with two days of Jet Skie rental. But when we planned the trip this year in Aug 2023, they reneged on your written offer to comp 2 hotels nights siting high rates. This was informed to us after we booked out flight tickets and we had no options. Finally we ended up having to book separate Hotel for two nights and spending an additional $700.
