We had one of each. They offer many standard flavor options like taro, brown sugar and traditional milk tea, and several bubble options ranging from standard tapioca, peal, and fruit flavors. And the premium options are essentially a dessert is a cup! Tai chi tea also offers food options with a full quick service restaurant inside. My husband and I have been looking everywhere for delicious, reliable chinese food dishes - the standards, y'know? I'm talkin straight Chicken & Broc, fried rice, lo mein. The hits. We've found this surprisingly hard to find around Stony Brook. We usually have my inlaws bring food in from Commack when we want good Chinese, but we were really hoping to find a local spot that hits the spot. The other night we asked our nanny, who has lived in the neighborhood for a lot longer than us, to suggest a place for great Chinese. To our surprise she suggested Tai Chi. We were like, what? The bubble tea place? But she wasn't kidding, so we gave it a try. And WOW. We weren't disappointed! This is going to be our go-to place for great Chinese food standards. I thought the boba tea was good. I ordered chicken fried rice and was not impressed with the dish. I was expecting something like Chinese fried rice. This dish was pretty bland. The taro tea was nice! Not sickly sweet with plenty of nutty taro flavor. The boba were pleasantly chewy and weren't coated in sugar. My friend had the mango tea but she claimed that it was watery. So for the mango tea and the wait time, I will dock a star. However, I do think this place has a lot of potential! It looks like there's a lot of food options offered here as well: American Chinese food, ramen, and pokebowls. Service was excellent and friendly. This is a new place that I somehow stumbled upon and am so happy that I did! I initially ordered through Uber eats and honestly, I think I've been back like 5 times since then haha. They have the best poke bowls ever! They have vegan/vegetarian options which is great! You get a choice of a salad bowl or a rice bowl which you add your choice of protein and unlimited amounts of vegetables. They also have ramen and sushi available, which I haven't tried yet, but it does look amazing. They also have bubble tea, I've tried their taro and coconut flavors and they were amazing! I suggest ordering online and picking up because it can sometimes have a bit of a line. They also have indoor seating available. Service is pretty good and the place looks pretty clean! Hubby got general tso chicken with pork fried rice. Came with an egg roll. I tasted the rice and it was pretty good. I had a poke bowl with three proteins and I was just turned off by it. The shrimp were kind of undercooked and the ingredients were indiscernible from one another. So far I haven't had gastrointestinal issues but I'm a big eater and didn't come close to finishing my food. Earl gray milk tea with plain boba was good. Lots of people coming in solely for drink orders. Clean establishment, but no towels or hand dryer in the restroom. This place has a decent variety on the menu. From a variety of drinks on the menu to ramen, pokebowls, and a huge chinese food menu. First of the fruit teas are good! I love all the fruit they include in it. The bubble tea however isnt that great. The bubbles are meh and the milk tea isnt the best. We've tried a couple stuff from the menu. The ramens are pretty good. The soup isnt overly salty. I ordered and extra egg once and they charged me $1 for only half the egg which was a little disappointing. The cha siew is really good. The pokebowls was just average. I wouldnt order again. On the chinese food menu i ordered the orange chicken which was decent. They actually used real orange peels. I have been here twice. The first time I thought it was "ok". The other day I ordered vegetable fried rice. I asked if it had broccoli and eggs, I was told yes. When I got home, the only vegetables in the rice were some peas and mini corn cobs. Not enough to say it had vegetables in it. I think there may have been lettuce, but that's not a "vegetable" worth mentioning. I will say the restaurant looked clean, so I'll give them points for that. read more

All was great, I love how they allow you to add as many mix-ins and toppings as you like - and the choices they give you are great. The only place they are lacking is with the bubble tea (boba). The tea lacks flavor, it's like drinking milk with a tiny splash of tea so small you have to look for it, and the tapioca bubbles are too soft and too few. The food was kind of bad, the salad bowl had barely any chicken, a lot of the vegetables were unexpectedly raw (mushrooms, broccoli??) My friend's orders were also lackluster. They have a chinese takeout menu which I did not try, but might be better. 3 stars is because they were okay with an unreasonable request from my friend about his drink being 95% full. But I can't recommend the ramen/bowls at all. I think they should work on the quality of the food, because overall the inside of the place looks nice. read more

was happy that a bubble tea spot was closer to home but a bit disappointed with the taste of the drinks i ordered. the strawberry lemon had half a lime with skin included and it made the drink awfully bitter than what i was expecting. personally, i just don't like that "just picked from the garden" taste. i even tried to dilute it with ice and water but it was no use. also tried the taro milk tea and it really tastes like powder + milk and no tea at all. i was interested in the zang zang but given my recent experience i don't think i'll be trying it any time soon. packaging is cute tho. read more

We tried the brown sugar and taro zang zang drinks, and the taichi and matcha red bean milk teas and were really happy with the quality of the drinks especially for the price. The dinner combinations are a great deal and come with a lot of pork fried rice and a huge egg roll! Of note, the chow mein is served with deep fried noodle bits, not stir fried noodles that I would usually associate with chow mein.
