I went there the other night for the first time ever and I ordered a poke bowl to go. It was good!

Quick, convenient and good to go! I stopped in here to grab a bubble tea with some friends. We quickly realized it wasn't a spot to sip and chat a bit. It seems more like a grab and go. There's not much ambiance. We took our beverages to go. Note: they also sell food too, but bubble tea seemed to be the draw. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Not being a bubble tea connoisseur, they happily answered all my questions. I enjoyed my bubble tea.

This place is right by Stony Brook campus! The food is pretty good and the boba is also good. The service is great! The interior is also cute but small (more of a to-go place)

A solid choice for bubble tea in the area! Ordered a taro and mango bubble tea. It did take a while for my order to complete, but that could just be due to growing pains of a new business. The taro tea was nice! Not sickly sweet with plenty of nutty taro flavor. The boba were pleasantly chewy and weren't coated in sugar. My friend had the mango tea but she claimed that it was watery. So for the mango tea and the wait time, I will dock a star. However, I do think this place has a lot of potential! It looks like there's a lot of food options offered here as well: American Chinese food, ramen, and pokebowls. Service was excellent and friendly. Despite its flaws for now, I think this could grow to be a staple in the Stony Brook area.

This place offers lots of different Asian dishes. In terms of Poke Bowls ( which is what I get ), I'd give this place a 2. Portion is not that big, fish doesn't feel the most fresh, and sauce is too salty. Other parts of this place I'd give it a 3.5. I've gone 5+ times when friends, but it's pretty mid. Dishes are good but nothing else really stands out to me.

Ordered a poke bowl through grub hub, for the size it was good. I do feel the unlimited toppings is the reason why the protein size is rather small ! However the toppings are super unique, I absolutely loved getting tamago on my bowl. the delivery packaging was also really great ! I do recommend this place if you're near by and in the mood :3

I really love the food and tea here. The ingredients are very fresh, and the staff are nice and friendly. The food is usually a little cheaper than other stores too. Will definitely come back, thanks!

This is a new place that I somehow stumbled upon and am so happy that I did! I initially ordered through Uber eats and honestly, I think I've been back like 5 times since then haha. They have the best poke bowls ever! They have vegan/vegetarian options which is great! You get a choice of a salad bowl or a rice bowl which you add your choice of protein and unlimited amounts of vegetables. They also have ramen and sushi available, which I haven't tried yet, but it does look amazing. They also have bubble tea, I've tried their taro and coconut flavors and they were amazing! I suggest ordering online and picking up because it can sometimes have a bit of a line. They also have indoor seating available. Service is pretty good and the place looks pretty clean! If you're in the area and looking for good Japanese food, this is the place to go!

Flavor is more tea than the flavor you pick. Tasted diluted. Eh, better bubble tea places in the area.

This place has a decent variety on the menu. From a variety of drinks on the menu to ramen, pokebowls, and a huge chinese food menu. First of the fruit teas are good! I love all the fruit they include in it. The bubble tea however isnt that great. The bubbles are meh and the milk tea isnt the best. We've tried a couple stuff from the menu. The ramens are pretty good. The soup isnt overly salty. I ordered and extra egg once and they charged me $1 for only half the egg which was a little disappointing. The cha siew is really good. The pokebowls was just average. I wouldnt order again. On the chinese food menu i ordered the orange chicken which was decent. They actually used real orange peels. The chicken mei fun was really good as well. Full of flavor!

I'd say this place has more unique drink options than other bubble tea places around here. The zangzang was not too sweet, which I prefer. I like how they have unlimited toppings for the poke bowl, but wish they gave a larger serving of the protein (spicy tuna is my favorite).

Tried this place for the first time. Ordered chocolate zang zang. Didn't like the taste much. However, the menu seems to be interesting with several options of Bubble tea and hence will try one more time and update the review accordingly

My last visit (Friday afternoon) I ordered a Medium Wintermelon Milk Tea (you can get it without the milk), Grilled Chicken Garlic Noodles and a Grilled Shrimp Rice Bowl. Everything was delicious and very flavorful though I felt the Garlic Noodles were a bit on the saltier side and the Wintermelon Milk Tea was a bit too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth). There were a lot of flavorful chicken pieces and the shrimp came with about 7-8 pieces, also very flavorful. They have 3 different sauces that I was given since I was eating there and just returned it to the counter once done. My favorite of the 3 was the more liquidy one though they all tasted great. The place is located in a strip mall with a lot of free parking. There's some seating inside and one small table outside. It's spacious and clean. They have great background music playing and their unisex bathroom is spacious and clean as well. The food came out in a reasonable time and the staff (I'm assuming maybe the owners) were also very pleasant.

When I asked my daughter, "when did that get there?" She responded, "it's new and I hear it's pretty good. We should try it if you're in the mood for bubble tea." Once inside, there is nice seating if you are looking to sit a bit. Looking up at the many choices on the board, the folks behind the counter immediately asked if we were ready to order or needed assistance. As I inquired about the differences between the drinks I was torn between, my knowledgeable server thoughtfully explained the drinks and how I could also customize my sweetness level. The high level of customer service for a mall shop was quite refreshing and more of a reason I would come back. I ultimately chose Sweet Sunshine: mangos and lychee mixed with jasmine green tea, with lychee jelly. If you're in the Smithhaven mall looking for a bubble tea, I'd recommend stopping in and giving Black Pearl Bubble Tea a try. My drink was served up quickly with a smile. Yaaas Tea is my go to for boba because no other place makes boba like them! Their boba is made fresh every hour on the hour, is flavorful and therefore, tastes amazing! I was recently in the area (end of January 2026) for an appointment and had gift cards for Yaaas Tea purchased from Costco ($25 x2 gift cards for $39.99 - and there's sometimes sales on top of this!) so why not? I initially used their self serve kiosk to order but then realized the way the card scanner was placed, that there was no way to swipe my gift card into the reader which was kind of annoying. The employee who was there however, was more than kind enough to take a picture of my order and manually put in the order with the regular cashier at the front. I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade with Mango Popping for my son and he loved it. For myself I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with Boba which was delicious. For our food, I ordered a Turkey Egg and Cheese Croffle and an Egg and Cheese Croffle (for my son). Both were delicious, made fresh and very filling. Last time I had also gotten their cookies (very reminiscent of Tate's cookies) but when I inquired about them this visit, she said they were in the process of baking fresh cookies on premise! Super excited about that! There were a few tables in the front of the store and the whole store itself was clean, spacious and brightly lit. Plenty of free parking in the lot at the front as it's located in a huge strip mall. I will definitely be returning any time I'm in the area and craving a bubble tea and/or croffle sandwich!

I had stopped in to grab a menu from the place next door and discovered this gem as I was pulling out. Peking Duck??? The sign caught my attention and I just had to check it out. Sometimes you just don't know where you find the next great place. Anyway, I met the owner June. What a lovely person. We talked about their take in regional Chinese cuisines and their strict adherence to authentic ( Sorry no beef with brocolli, egg rolls, or orange chicken). Instead it was a menu pulling from the best of Beijing, X'ian, Hunan, and Szechuan cuisines. Oh my goodness, where do I start?? Ok..first time time..had to try the X'ian Spicy Lamb noodles. Where do I begin??? All of their wheat ( not rice) noodles are hand pulled right there. That makes a HUGE difference. Chewy, springy, and so delicious. June told me the traditional version came with lamb intestine too ( not a fan of intestines so thank you for the heads up). These were so damn good. Spicy and tingly, hearty and delicious. The spice was the good kind, the kind that encourages you dig back in inspite of the heat ( much like the first time I had real Pad Thai at the old Jai Ya in Elmhurst). It was an explosion of flavor. I was hooked. I went back later that day to order the Peking Duck Dinner for my friends and got the Spicy Beef Noodle soup to take home for my son. Again, those same amazing noodles and the most flavorful broth plus soft and melt in your mouth beef shin and tendon. Another keeper. 2 days later I brought in the Peking Duck dinner for my friends. First out of the gate...these came with homemade pancakes like they should. Bao are for roast pork, not peking duck. The duck was expertly sliced, and was juicy not dry. My friends were blown away. The full dinner came with scallion pancakes, cold poached chicken in a chili oil and vinegar sauce, cold noodles with sesame sauce, and sauteed bok choy with garlic. I've ordered it twice already and really want to get it right at the restaurant when the crispy skin is at its crispiest. Everything I ordered from here hit the authenticity I crave and were so on point. Gotta recommend the spicy lamb burgers too. If you've had at X'ians famous at any of their locations, you will be so happy to not have to go the Flushing for this delight. I promise to post pictures. Trust me on this...you want to go here. Run..do not walk.
